Waited 15 minutes for my coffee after the food in my to go order was ready.food was ice cold when I tried to eat it. When I called the store to speak to a Manager or Supervisor, they hung up on me before even asking why I was calling. Usually good food, horrible customer service.

What's the point of all day breakfast if you can order it past 11 am? Never had this problem with other locations

Ordered through Uber eats they missed a whole combo meal for delivery at lunch time at work. Poor attention taken. Had to share one meal between two.

I came to have some late lunch Yesterday at this location. Had a wonderful meal and great customer service treatment from Staff. I don’t Remember the Name of Cashier, But Overall Service is Outstanding. Keep it Up

Very nice place with good food. 1st time try it and it is delicous. The drinks can be refill, and the beef burger with onion drinks is tasty.love it.

This might be one of the best AW's that is spacious enough to be compared to a restaurant. It's also not overwhelmingly busy, the experience is nice here.

Good place to eat, didn't try the Ringer burger because it's a bit pricey, other than that good food

This A&W has a bit of an odd layout to their parking lot but the food is good. Staff are mindful about efficiency and trying to keep the drive through line moving. I have seen the parking lot get a bit challenging to navigate in the mornings when they’re receiving deliveries and the food truck takes up a large amount of the parking lot. This store also doesn’t have the Brew Bar Machine yet so they can be a bit limited on those types of drinks if that’s what you’re looking for. Otherwise this is a nice A&W Store.

I came to have some late lunch today at this location. I was amazed to see this girl who was cleaning the table. I barely remember her name but it starts with an “R” she did an excellent job. I have never seen a person working that hard. She cleaned every inches of that table including the legs not missing a spot. I hope the best for this team. That’s girl deserves a chance

Had breakfast here with my niece and wife. Had a wonderful meal and great customer service treatment from superb staff. Specially Harleen. Thank you guys for making our visit a great one. Keep up the great work.

I ordered and the food was ready in maybe 2 minutes.

Best A&W bar none. Polite and friendly staff. Orders are always correct. Fast service and hot food. Clean and the staff work very hard. They should be awarded from the Corporation because this is an excellent place to eat and order from.

I ordered food and they forgot to make it. When it finally came they gave me a free apple turnover which was rly good so I wasn't upset. Food was pretty good aswell.

There is space, there is character, there is friendly staff, good food and short waiting times.

This building does stand out. It is totally recognizable and it has its own open space in an area full of large buildings packed against sidewalks and each other - and that helps show that it can give people what they want.

I will admit that I usually see this place when I'm rushing past, going to or from work; so when I am walking through the area and I stop in I am very happy.

There's lots of parking for a building this size. Once in the restaurant I saw it is very clean and well staffed. I was after the lunch rush, so they were busier with drive-thru than with dine-in patrons, but I was not ignored.

On my recent visit I just had a small meal (well, one larger burger) and it was nicely cooked and arrived in good time. The meat was pretty juicy, the toppings were tasty, and i didn't feel I had to rush through my meal.

I like this restaurant. I've heard some people say it might have a small town look, but that kind of helps add some hospitality to its feel. The friendly staff and quality of the food is better than other burger places, which adds to that vibe - there is more of a neighborhood feel to make me want to come back.

I visited this A&W yesterday to grab some delicious pancakes but unfortunately I had a bad experience.
The lady behind the counter wearing the head set came to serve me and she was extremely rude and impatient.
She was also arguing with other staff right in front of customers creating a really uncomfortable atmosphere.
When my pancakes were ready she slammed them on the counter and never gave me my butter, maple syrup or my drink. So the pancakes sat on the counter until they went stone cold and eventually another staff member walked over and completed my order.
I think it's safe to say I will never return to this A&W again as long as they have staff like that working there.

Clean and organized. Nice little place to stop in for some icy root beer mugs and fries are served in cute little baskets! Kid's loved it!

Food was as great. Onions rings were crispy and well seasoned. Fries were hot and fresh. And order arrived at the window very quickly. The only sad thing I have to say, is there are no longer any rootbeer milkshakes. They were my absolute favorite. A bit of a disappointment, really. Overall though it was good.

The manager and staff are nice and this A&W is like a local restaurant while (weather permits) you can sit outside and enjoy your food. Though there is a drive through here as well.

Combo breakfast with great roasted coffee was awesome. Price affordable and very clean. Staff and service was excellent. Will go back again. This is A&W Courtenay location across from superstore.

I've been going to this place
since it was a drive in, and
90% of the time my meal and others meals were fine. Exactly what we ordered. Sadly, A&Ws has gone to pot.

I think I'm speaking words that other will understand, but I've been
proven wrong over the past few years. This has lead to every second order being wrong or incomplete. And their attitude when pointing this out is not, " I'm sorry" but just nothing. And this A&W is charging MORE than others in the lower mainland. It's at least a dollar and with several orders it's up to 5.
I should challenge them, but they have no shame, so why bother? I just tell others to check their bills.

If your order seems watered down it likely is. Wouldn't even refund the bad product just gave me a different one. Last time giving money here and it's honestly quicker then most other fast food joints.

Not open 24/7 Opens at 6am, Only the drive though is open 24/7 and for safty reasons no matter how empty the parking lot is they will not take your order from the window unless you're in a vehicle.

Service was great, burger was flawless, but somebody needs to come in and show these guys how to make onion rings. They were way over battered and the onion was not soft at all.

Busy but the line kept going. The food was hot and delicious as it always is. Lots of parking available too.

I they always make mistakes on order or just plain don't understand you when making an order then at paying bill there don't acknowledge there mistakes and still wants you to pay for it, you have to tell them 10 times before giving you salt or pepper or ketchup, it's pretty bad I had to go buy a salt and pepper for just one restaurant, that is just sickening to have to do that.

Considering that I was the only customer in the store it shouldn't have taken 15mins.to make me a coffee. The coffee was good, but it wasn't that good. Maybe instead of making eyes at each other the workers could have concentrated on their job instead.

I used to love this place but now I don't I bought A&w mug from there and they gave me one with bugs in it and then I come back in to get a new one I asked them "could you wash it out or get me a new one" she walks over gets me to look in the cup and says "does this one look good" like the first one had visible spiders and dead silverfish in it
It just upsets me the fact that they made me feel like I'm the dumb one for asking one that doesn't have bugs in it

Fairly good A&W, I am not sure if it is the restaurant or the person in front of me everytime making some crazy requests, but there is always a wait. My order is usually out quickly though.

One of the staff members who served me had a really bad attitude when I visited. Definitely. Put a bitter taste in my mouth. Food was delicious and made well though.

I'll never give a fast food joint 5 stars.this is a good A&W with all around constency and friendly staff.

Best fast food burgers and chicken. Their root beer can't be beat, tastes almost like a float but has no ice cream, amazing.

Best a and w I’ve ever been to! The service is lightening fast.burger combos are ready in 2 minutes. Been here many times and never had a mistake with my order.
Food is also piping hot and fresh every time!

Always been a huge fan until tonight, ordered the 56 Buddy burger, chicken strips, fries and onion rings (drive thru), the burger patty was tough and had a terrible smell to it (threw it out), the fries and onion rings were chewy and stale.the 2 stars are for the ok chicken strips.very disappointed.

Ordered fries and chicken stripes, but found did not have ketchup and sauce when got home.

I usually don't go for this kind of food very often but I really enjoy the chicken sandwich I had that day.

Always the best service and the best hamburgers. Not to mention the best coffee. And the best root beer)

Love it. Had the lettuce wrap burgers. You can get lettuce wrap for any burgers for those trying to have a keto chest meal.

Rare root beer and uncle burger is quite a treat. Don't overdo it or you'll end up at Subway like Jared.

I was out for a walk and decided to get some Breakfast.i went inside and was surprised to see they were serving breakfast. The Canadian breakfast was more than i was expecting. YUMMY

Pretty good usually. God help you if you use their app and have a problem with the app ordering or charging wrong. They will tell you its corporates problem. Sometimes the food is not as fresh as it should be. Occasionally the eggs in the bacon and egger seem to be past their prime.

Literally thousands of moths inside the restaurant, i know there's a moth infestation in north van, but christ sake, I don't know how they're keeping the kitchen clear, pretty gross.

Had a family combo with a coupon for under $25 for four people. Cannot complain! Maybe one of the better A&Ws I've been to in Vancouver!

The burgers aren't that great. The 2 times I've been here there are bugs flying around inside and crawling on the tables. The fries were ok though.

Drive through only? Don't say you're open if you cant take customers for pick up at least. Couldn't even be bothered to pick up the phone. I'll be leaving as many 1 stars across the web until there's a change.

Would leave negative if I could. I wont be coming back until you change your hours of operation.

Oh yeah and you couldn't even be bothered to leave a message to say you're closed for non-vehicle owners after 9pm.

A&W is the only burger joint I really go to, because it's the only good one. The A&W in north van though, well that's the best of the lot in my experience!

This A&w is the best! I went to drive thru for lunch fast service and hot food.specially the girl served me is friendly.

Incredibly poor service! Staff walked back and forth in front of the customers at least a dozen times without even an acknowledgement! Left without even ordering, went to DQ!

A fast food boutique. Fast Foodtique! Better than the typical fast food visits. Clean premises and I love that food is served in paper and tried the cod burger and onion rings with their root beer in a frosty mug. It was hot and delish.

Only person in the drive-thru in the morning. Asked for a BEYOND sausage and veggie with no cheese, no mayo, no egg, no margarine on an English muffin. I get a REGULAR sausage (I am vegan) with no veggies at all. I paid for this. I can't eat it.

Disappointed that the only person working couldn't even get my order right when there is no one else at the restaurant. At least I got a hashbrown but not worth the $6.00 extra for wasted food.

Fast service, friendly, competent staff. Good food quality time and time again year after year. Remarkable vegan choices that match their quality of beef choices.

Rudest staff. Had to say our order 4 times and she still messed it up. Had to drive through twice to fix mistakes I found. Was rude and and said we lied about what we ordered.
