I always go to this A&W that’s nearby. Even though it’s at a closed off location and people expect it to be dead it’s pretty lively. The service has been always great, never experienced any mistakes or anything not placed. We’ve requested many times for keeping the vegetarian food separate from the meat and they always follow up with it.

This location has a great staff!

Their service is great, they are friendly and helpful. They actually come around with free refills on coffee and hot water. They also have root beer suckers they bring around to the tables!

The food is great and it’s served very quickly.

If I’m going to a fast food place this is where I go.

Ordered at drive thru and they told me to go park and they'll being it out to me. Parked but decided to walk in and get my order. They burger was made and they were waiting for the onion rings. An order of rings was made but they decided to give it to the next car in the drive thru behind me, instead of serve it to me while I waited at the counter. Seems there priority was drive thru and if you are parked and waiting you are no longer the first priority. Waited another 3 minutes and the received the next order of onion rings whilst the car after me got served first. WT fok is that service. Honestly the rings were not worth the $5.99 price.never again.next time when they tell me to park and wait I won't moving until u receive my order at the window.the car behind can wait.

This A&W probably was the best fast food experience I've ever had in 30 years. Food was hot and fresh, the service was beyond excellent, and everything was very clean and well maintained. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and service provided by the manager in the afternoon on Thursday, Aug 10. I will drive from White Rock to dine here again with my toddler. It was fantastic!

I have been here quite a lot and it definelty has gave the worth of my money their food is delicious and is probably the best location in Surrey.

Great customer service. Hirdepal is a great guy, he really took care of my order, will come here again.

I am Changing my rating from 5 star to 1 star only because August 8th at 9: 35 I have to beg Kathleen to give me 2 fresh Spicy Chicken and I was told again and again by her that they have everything fresh so I will get whatever they have. I had to beg again and again that I specifically want a fresh order as I get it everytime from this location even if I have to wait 10-15 mins. WHAT I GOT AFTER 10 mins of wait is a old patty just heated back in oil again. I have worked at A&W as shift supervisor and Kathleen thought she can fool me with not giving me fresh patty because of her ego, never thought I will have to go through all this after working for A&W. All I did was kindly asked was a fresh dinner.

Our food took so long to make and it was such a small order! We were waiting for so long! I wish I can rate this zero stars!

If you go to this store for a pick up at night description will say ring the bell and guess what their is no bell and you, ll be standing out their just looking at faces

Everytime i order online, i get the best food from this location. First time visiting in person. Customer service ruined by one person, So Rude and stubborn. Didnt even get the exact food i ordered. It’s true that One dirty fish spoils the whole pond!

At first they took our order late because all of the employees were playing outside in the snow. Then she misunderstood and took wrong order and asked to pay seperately for both of my meals. Very unprofessional staff and refused to take cash. Never had this kind of experience at any other A&W.

I always want seasoning salt on my fries however door dash doesn't have the option to add it and I have to call the restaurant every single time. Every single time I call the restaurant no one picks up the phone and door dash always says the same thing but when I do to the restaurant, its empty during late nights so I'm not sure why no one picks up the phone.

Worst service in the entire world no one had to know that there should be the people so the fast service becomes the asset of the restaurant

Their always polite Breakfast Has a real Plate, Cup & Metal Cutlery for inside dining not like other A&W location which only use paper products.

I used to work as a fast food manager and I can tell you the guy who works morning shift at 6AM needs a raise. Packed my breakfast platter so neatly with the receipt stickered on top, and condiments and peanut butter in a separate small pack.

Not to mention how professional he was on the drive thru com.

Give the man a raise!

The Mama Burger was fresh and hot and with cheese was over $7.00. No drink, no fries. Been a while since I was out for fast food - gonna be longer for the next time.

Worst location, worst service, always gets the order wrong, food is never properly cooked. Food is thrown in the bag without a care. The employees never add coupons from the app they just pretend too, even tho you can see on the receipt they didn’t. Avoid location.

Very small. They make drive thru a priority. Takes too long to wait in line when only 5 people are waiting. Very bad at social distancing because it is dark and cramped.

The two lady employees were playing with mobiles, I waited for almost 10 minutes then she told me to wait for another 5 minutes and continued her chatting

Food is always decent… but the service this morning was completely fn rude… cashier actually walked away mid order to answer her bloody cell phone! And it was personal call as well… what a joke service… i should put a picture of her but i’ll be nice…

I Love Driving to A & W Newton. It's Literally The Cleanest Fas Food Restaurant I Have Ever Been to. The staff There are Always Super Clean, Tidy, Hygenic. ️Something That is A MUST in The Food Service Industry. I appreciate That when I'm not in The Mood To Prepare my Families Food, I Want To Know I'm getting Served By Someone Who Puts Cleanliness, Manors & Food Freshness Quality First. Servers are Always Happy To Serve. Makes my Family Feel Welcome ️️️️️

Food poisoning would have tasted better. Root beer was average at best. Will never eat in any A&W ever again. A dog would have more intelligence to not eat it.

This is my regular breakfast place every Sunday with my family. The service is wonderful and the food is made fresh with any special requests accomodated. Place is clean and all protocols are followed strictly. Staff are super nice and friendly.

Staff here are friendly and helpful. Fast-food with a real restaurant feel. Good quality ingredients. Can't go wrong with a delicious teen burger and fries! A&W is definitely the best fast food restaurant going.

Nice small place to order burgers and meal with cov-19 happiness, and also good old cold mug glass of root beer. I have bought root beer there in a glass case for$ 6.99 very pricey but once in a while to have a drink there to relax with friends with the spacing going on in this hard times.

Absolutely disgusting. I paid $18.00 for a chicken sandwich made out of rock. I get it fast food but have some quality.

Poor service, i visited last night. I waited almost 10 minutes even no other customer was there. The girl name Simran who took my order gave me cold food and she was way too slow seems like she was doing that purposely to annoying people.

Always have a good experience at this location. There's a girl working the cash register named Anmon, I believe. She's really great, you can tell she's very intelligent. She will happily take complex orders and offer you water after if you hadn't ordered any drink (something I usually have to ask for). She also spent some time helping me get the A&W app working as I was trying to take advantage of that free coffee offer, which was a bit of a struggle. She said she didn't use the app much herself before (neither have I) but she figured it out before I did. Haha! I was eating in, afterward she noticed me walking out with leftovers (I tossed the rest of my fries in a hamburger sack) and offered to give me a bag. Very attentive and kind. Give this girl a raise.

Worst service. Happened 2nd time in row when in store all tables where empty but front guy said all are occupied and we waited for 10 minutes then another guy came and sit on table.
I went to front guy and told him and his reply was nothing.
I would suggest owner to hire more employee but professional and good employee. I am also worked in a $ w and my wife also. We know how to handle staff but I thing your Staff need to be know about it. Last time it was also same

Always amazing. The only fast food place that never messes up my order. Double bacon double cheese papa burger was fantastic. I always prefer their sweet potato fries because their regular fries are always meh (personal opinion).
Staff are hardworking and the manager is always friendly and I could tell that the extra COVID-19 precautions they're taking is taking a toll on them. Before pandemic they had best table service around.
This is the best A&W however I cannot vouch for other locations.

Like the weekend car shows and good food. Just a little slow in the service. Also did not get order right this time. Some room for improvement.

I ordered a pancake combo just without the toast on drive thru. And unfortunately I received just three pancakes with nothing else. I got really confused since this happened twice on drive thru. I just didn’t bother to complain in the first time. This time I did since it was the second time it happened where it’s just three pancakes when its the combo. Just asked for no toast as the request. So I called, and they told me I can get customer satisfaction by having my meal done the way I wanted again for free (same order) and a free breakfast added too. I understand all humans makes mistake especially working on a fast food chain. I was truly grateful for the code they gave me for my free meal next time. I wish other fast food restaurants had these customer satisfaction. Thank you!

I think I have only gotten hot/fresh fries at this location one time out of all the times I've been through and when that is the only thing you order most times, it is quite disappointing. This is usually at 10 pm or later. Their other items are usually hot and tasty, just like other A&W locations.

Sadly this location is run kids and the food quality and skills of getting an order right is beyond bad. Your restaurant charges prices that fancy spot in DT charges yet your food is cold and processed. Tried calling the store direct but think the staff has realized they get complaints daily and now just stopped answering the phone. Wish I could give u a Zero but 1 is the lowest rating

It used to be our family's favorite restaurant but from last few trips.we had very bad experience, very bad customer service by arsh there, we ordered buddy chicken burgers but i guess she don't know the difference between chicken and beef patty.that was very disappointed when we got home with wrong order over that we asked her to put some lettuce and onions in there but got none.

Came in here tonight and ordered a Papa burger meal with no pickle and was given a teen burger with no pickles. I know this because I used to work for A&W for over a year. When we complained, they just took off the extra ingredients and handed it back. We didn’t realize until looking at it again after driving away so we turned around and the cashier continued to argue with me about it having “no pickles” when I asked for a remake because they just took off the extra ingredients. I repeatedly told her there is an allergy hence why he ordered a Papa. Regardless, there was still cheese on the burger but that was the least of the problems. In the beginning, the cashier gave us attitude and moaned as she walked away when we asked for extra seasoning in a container for the onion rings. When I asked why the kitchen was giving out wrong burgers and then instead of remaking them, just taking items off, she told me they were “distracted”. At the time they had only two people in line (including us) and the inside closed. When I worked at A&W I’ve worked through a Christmas period in a mall, I know all about busy times and being under pressure however that isn’t how you remake a burger, especially when an allergy is present and has been mentioned numerous times. I’m now waiting in the pouring rain and it’s been almost ten minutes and I’m not sure if I’m expected to run back out for the fourth time now to the door or if I’m waiting for them to actually remake it. We will see.

And as if all of that isn’t bad enough- the onion rings are horrible. I won’t be returning again that’s for sure.

I was helped by a girl named Brenda however my receipt says Moln. Regardless of whoever it was- stressed or not, the service was ridiculous.

Teen burgers and mozzaburgers! And the best root beer. And don't forget the crunchy onion rings! Best all 'round burger spot, the the big national chains. Nice people too.

Impressed with their attention to the clientele. Good approach. You can have same breakfast for $24.00 + tip somewhere else.

Horrible service from the late night staff, so rude and slow and the foods so cold and disgusting! They say its open 24 hours but at 9 or 10 or 12 when I'm off work they’re closed all the time randomly so the lazy employees are closing it because they don’t want to serve there customers!

I normally don't rate fast food restaurants unless I absolutely need to. This A&W spot just amazing. You have to go there to experience it.

Absolutely horrific experience! I ordered through skip the dishes and the food was not prepared correct or to taste good. The order was wrong and did not listen to any customizations. They did not include the sauces I asked and paid for and it was freezing cold due to restaurant error! Absolutely disgusting food that went straight to the garbage after waiting 40 mins for it to arrive due to restaurant tardiness. Worst restaurant ever, don’t eat from here if you want a half-decent meal. Will never return!

They've really stepped up their game we sat inside with our baby girl and got better table service than we do at restaurants! Excellent service great food (the smoked gouda momma burger was awesome!) All in all a great experience:)

It’s an amazing place. Not only the hall, but also the washroom are so neat and clean, staffs are so friendly, and the service is even way better than any restaurant while you eating and even when you leave. This is not a fast food chain. Unbelievable!

I hardly ever leave online reviews for fast food restaurants, but I was astounded by the quality of service and the friendliness of the staff. These people know customer service. Definitely the BEST customer service I've ever received, better than most 5 star, high end, fine dining estaurants out there. Whoever is in charge of this place should be commended for their outstanding work and consistency of their employees. I came back to this place a year later at the drive thru, it was pouring rain during lunch rush and the gentleman at the window was so very kind and put me in a really good mood.

Good fast food. Staff making an effort to make things the best they can be. Seems to be a well managed shop. Burger toppings are a bit restricted. No mushrooms? Nice and clean.

Burgers were alright, bit not like the past.they were not very warm and very little sauce. The rings were squished up and greasy. Was not impressed like I have been before.

Friendly service. Orders can take long. Accommodating to customized orders. I like getting lettuce wraps. Bun options are good too. Mouthwatering, melt in your mouth burgers. My favourite place for breakfast sandwiches. My kids love their lollipops.

By far my favourite A&W location. Staff members go above and beyond! From opening the door for you when you enter and exit to bringing your food to your table, they're absolutely amazing! Even when you need to get up to grab more napkins or ketchup, they would tell you to sit back down and let them grab it for you. You don't feel like you're eating at a fast food restaurant when you dine in at this location.
