I typically love Ayoub's. Their quality of products and the energy of their shops are lovely. Like the presentation is stunning! I frequent the Kits location and I've never had any problems. This one though is different in a bad way. I went in there the first time other day and one of the women there was so snappy and passive aggressive at me: (I felt like I had to apologize the whole time for being an inconvenience.

There was no one around that was available except these two in the back chatting with each other. I awkwardly picked up a piece of their baggies and kinda looked around unsure of what to do and one of the women that was chatting stopped, came up to me with the most sour expression and barked at me to put it down and give her the bag so she could do it. I was so confused and was stammering because she had just watched me the whole time I was looking around for help! She didn't need to be so snarky with me but she was real polite to my partner while she gave me the up and down the whole time I was there.

We probably should have just walked out but I was honestly so shocked at how rude she was to me that I just awkwardly completed our shopping there.

Great things to purchase, but man was it a horrid experience as a whole adult to be treated like a 4 year old that a mom with a passive aggressive temper takes her frustrations out on.

Maybe she was just having a bad day or the chatting was some kind of training I interrupted or something but I don't think we will be coming back. It's unfortunate because I've had such great experiences in the past at your other locations. This Hastings location is not the one. Go to the Kits one!

Great bulk seeds, nuts, and dried fruit, all made in house, with vastly superior quality to anything you can get anywhere else in town. Especially nice that I can bring my own containers for bulk seeds! I go through a lot of sunflower and pumpkin seeds and have been getting them here for years!

I love this place. Everything is fresh and delicious. I wish there were more sugar-free and oil-free options

There was price mismatch of the products. Displayed prices were lower than the prices charged.

My first visit yesterday to this amazing store on Hastings, with its huge antique tumblers full of nuts. You’ll want to stand in the doorway and stare, as I did. Nuts with lime, with saffron + lime, with all kinds of coatings. Wonderful chocolate-covered dried fruits too: cherries, blueberries, apricots, strawberries. Delicious!

Bought $90 worth of dried organic apricot back in November 2022. Shortly afterwards, they sent me an email thanking me for the purchase and also provided a 10% discount for the next purchase. But the 10% discount never worked. So called the store, the girl provided a customer service email, which I emailed more than 3 times. No reply up to today. These are crooks, why are they lying to customers, afterall, it's only 10%. Why not just don't provide any discount code instead of lying? I no longer buy anything from them. I now shop with Costco online, their organice apricot is much cheaper and very juicy. Give them a try!
