Sadly looking at the fake or paid reviews here.
This is my experience.
If you don't want to play with your appetite, please don't order anything from here.
There food smells like worn socks.
It's the worst food you will ever eat and that smell will never leave your head.

We ordered from Baba Sweets for the first time per recommendations from family in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised! The food was pretty good. We ordered online and our food was ready in about 20 minutes. We walked in to pick up our dinner without any hiccups. We ordered the chili chicken, chicken curry, and rice.
1. The chili chicken was one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was very soft and tender. The peppers and onions were cooked al dente with a nice a crunch! However, the chicken was on the sweeter side. My husband didn’t like the sweetness however I didn’t mind.
2. If you need a chicken curry dish which tastes homemade… this dish, is it! Again, the chicken was soft and tender. The curry was amazing, not overly sweet or savory. The flavors of the onion, tomato, and spices were just perfect. It really tasted like comfort food. Something you could have on a cold rainy day and not feel guilty.
3. The rice was just a typical order of rice. This was probably the first time i’ve ordered rice cooked with peas from an Indian restaurant. I didn’t mind it but if you don’t like peas then don’t order the rice.
I highly recommend the two dishes we ordered from Baba Sweets, more specifically the chicken curry. I do plan on trying more items in the near future!

My special is large butter chicken, aloo gobi, naan, and vegetable samosa. Get the large butter chicken as it's a much larger portion for moderated more value. Feeds our family for 2 days, and tastes great!

Went in to get some samosas and asked what options and how much. They told me that it’s $1.50 per samosa. So I ordered both chicken and veg. Only to find out after that the chicken was $3.50, which is fine, I expect that with meat and rising prices, but then I saw their menu board and it said it was $3.00. And so i said oh your sign said it’s $3.00 and her reply was that it’s $3.50 after taxes. Which then I said with takes it still only comes to $3.36. So I asked is it $3.00 or $3.50? They only charged me $3.00 for it in the end however, I felt like they weren’t being honest in how they are charging customers. I don’t mind paying more for inflation and helping with the rising food prices, but to not be honest with your pricing at the till isn’t right. Tell me that’s an old price that you haven’t changed yet. Don’t tell me that’s prices after tax. At the end the samosas we’re not very good, chicken is dry with a sandy consistency. Just make sure you know what they’re charging you and not up charging you on your bill.

My go to place for butter chicken thali in Burnaby. Great value. Call ahead to order to reduce wait time.

Amongst the other Indian eateries in the 6th street neighborhood, BABA sweets flavors definitely stand out as close to authentic Indian cuisine

We bought Jalebi, Kaju Katli, and Besan ka Laddoo from this shop. Everything seems good. Cheap, clean, and friendly staff, but Jalebi was NOT good at all as it was fried in old-stale oil. First bite itself gave the old-stale oil aroma and tasted so bad that I had to spit it out.
The cook needs to ensure to change oil at regular intervals rather than use it for time immemorial. At the time we bought these sweets, Samosas were not ready and they asked us to order 15 minutes before coming. This seems fair, but I also wonder the oil quality that they are using for Samosas. Old-stale oil that was used again and again for weeks, or fresh oil that's changed every 2-3 days or even earlier?

Jalebis are better at agra sweets. You can get sweets and snacks from here. Delivery and pick up available. They have staff only parking at back of business.

Checked this out randomly for the first time since i was in the area, i got a large order of lamb curry, butter chicken and an order of veggie pakoras and 3 pcs of naan.all for just 63bucks.the quality and portions were huge and was more than enough my wife and i and our teenage kids! Got what I wanted to make my Diwali Day Celebration Special. They followed all the safety guide regarding Covid-19. Everyone was treated the same. Only 4 in store at a time which was great. If anyone just opened the door and walked in they were politely asked to go back and joined the line. Everything was well organized using Canada Health Guidelines. Congrats for a well organized Diwali Day Food and Sweet Service.

Try the traditional punjabi food which is difficult to find as there are so many restaurants near by. But this one has the authentic home made taste.

We order samosas here all the time for the office. The staff is polite, the food is delicious, and the prices are very very reasonable.

Don’t buy Indian sweets from here. They use spoiled milk. Easy way to test - microwave until it’s hot and take a whiff.
Same way you can test deep fried stuff - They keep reusing their frying oil until it starts to smell.

The vegetarian samosas here are to die for! I usually get 3 just to myself although my waistline doesn’t really like it. I’ve been here for lunch several times and the food here is well priced, delicious and consistent. The ladies at the counter have always been friendly and they will come top up your water at your table without asking. It’s more of a take-out place however they have about 4 tables so that you can dine in.

We stopped here for lunch and absolutely loved it. The next day we got a huge order of samosas to take back to the office and they loved it as well. Very affordable and healthy we highly recommend trying this out.

Tried the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and palak paneer here. The food is just ok, chicken was a bit dry and the palak paneer was lacking flavor. Indian Bombay Bistro across the street is a bit more refined and higher quality.

One of the only places open on Christmas, ordered with and delivered by SkipTheDishes. I had it delivered to my workplace due to not having any lunch/dinner. When the food arrived, there were no utensils for me to eat with despite asking for them in my order. Perhaps they were busy today, but forgetting something like that is not something I can forgive. By the time I got to eat the butter chicken, it was tasty at least.

Decent but Overpriced. Careful as they do not give breakdown receipt. Give you only debit credit receipt. Tend to overcharge so must be very careful. Make sure ask for breakdown receipt.they are bit sneaky in that regard. Unethical.

The best Chola in Vancouver Area- better than Surrey. The samosa was quite good too. I can tell you this is better than India
