Back in Motion Health - Vancouver

My appointment went well enough, but the physiotherapist I had said she would send me a list of exercises to do before my next appointment. I never received the list, and the receptionist accidentilly scheduled me for the next day rather than the next week. I have had to move my appointment twice after that because I still didn't get my list of exercises. Telling the receptionist I didn't have the exercises didn't help. Calling in and emailing the clinic to ask for my exercises didn't yield any results. So I've given up.

Obviously a pretty bad experience for me. Nothing against the physiotherapist I had, but the clinic seems very disorganized and I won't be going back.

After having been receiving treatment from other places- therapists without achieving significant progress I was referred to this particular clinic. I must say that the treatment provided here is truly comprehensive and tailored to address specific injuries. The level of attention I received from the staff far surpassed any expectation.

I would like to acknowledge the exceptional professionalism and expertise demonstrated by the following individuals: Dan, Trevor, Weldon, SariAnne, Hannah, Laris, Brianna, among others. Each of them contributed significantly towards my recovery process.

Prior to seeking treatment at this clinic, I experienced considerable pain, numbness, tingling in my elbow and fingers even while lifting a mere 20 pounds. However, after undergoing therapy here, I was able to strengthen my arm to the point where I could lift 55 pounds several times without experiencing any pain, tingling sensations, or numbness. This remarkable progress enabled me to resume my work and normal activities, fully recovered.

Overall, I highly recommend this clinic for their outstanding and effective rehabilitation services. Their team of dedicated professionals creates an environment conducive to healing and ensures a successful recovery for their patients.

Five weeks post hamstring tear, I'm back on skis today thanks to the guidance and rehab program put together by Mallory and Dylan. Thanks guys!

Excellent clinic. Well managed, well staffed and well equipped.

I spent 3 months rehabbing in the soft-tissue disorder program, visiting 5 days a week. Had major issue with right arm and couldn't even work at my desk or with my hands. Trevor, Sai and the team were monumental in my recovery. I can do so much more than I could at the start of program, and have confidence it will continue improving.

Listen to them and you will get better.

When I started my rehab, I could not lift more than 2 lbs by left hand and after 2 months I moved 20 lbs.they helped me to renew my hand.

I have had a very challenging condition that physically, mentally affected my physical mobility. The staff at Back in Motion have been outstanding. They understood my situation and are helping me to recover with a personalized program. All this by paying attention to details and working to assist me to conquer my ailment.

It had been a few years since my last appointment. Was able to make an appointment with short notice for the next day.

They were able to help with an arm issue I'd been having.

Was turned away at the desk for my booked appointment. Receptionist said the therapist I was scheduled in for was there, but with someone else. Offered to get me in three weeks later. So as good as this place may be, they book very far in advance for people’s routine massages. So if you’re in need of therapy or a massage sooner than later. Look else where.

Great place to help you get back to work after any injury. They have a Physiotherapist and a kinesiologist working together in order to help you build a plan to get you in shape. They work with you until you and they are satisfied you can go back to work. They have free lockers (lock included), kitchen (no stove), gym, stretching room, coffee, tea, hot/cold water and private rooms for different therapy’s. I would give 5 starts if this place was a little more clean and organized, I’m not saying this place is dirty it’s just not a 10/10. Its a 8/10. This won’t stop me from coming here. I definitely recommend this place.

Service from the physiotherapist was excellent. But. BIM will not bill my insurer (Greenshield.ca). Greenshield says that the therapist's address is in Surrey, when in fact it is in Vancouver. Therefore Greenshield will not accept my claim for refund. Until this is settled I will have to go elsewhere for service.

Had to come here through WorkSafe. Wonderfully lovely staff at the front desk and the doctor I saw was incredibly helpful in answering my concerns. I cannot speak to the physiotherapy or rehab staff, but if they are anything like the rest of the group, I'm sure it will be good.

This review is for the physiotherapist, Adam Morrison. He has been a vital part of my recovery and I truly do not know where I would be without his expertise. He is extremely knowledge (but so humble), empathetic and motivating. He is a physiotherapist that truly goes above and beyond for every single one of his patients and wants them to reach their full potential and goals.

I appreciate all the time he has spent providing me with the best, result driven exercises and advice in my recovery. I trust and value his opinion. If you are looking for a five star, invaluable physiotherapist, he is it!
