Homa is a fantastic family run restaurant. Their food is delicious, and the service is phenomenal!

We ordered Lamb Shank and Chicken Kebab. Awesome taste and love the ambience. Lamb Shank is definitely a MUST TRY.

Nice doner and shawarma place. We went there for lunch and wanted to get the kebabs but they told us it takes some time so we changed our minds and got the falafel plate instead. The food was tasty and the quality was as you can expect with a good shawarma place.

For improvement, I wish if there was nice Arabic music that will create amazing atmosphere and vibes for Arabic visitors. We ordered chicken shawarma wraps and it was really fresh and delicious, I would come again to have it for sure! Clean place and clean food and fresh.

The rice and hummus were great. But the kabab was not tasty. Lastly, it was expensive in comparison to other places for the same meal.

I had chicken shawarma plate and it was good. They have multiple kinds of rice that they offer so that was also nice to see.

Tired the chicken shawarma and it didn't disappoint. Good place to grab a good quality food for to go.

Really wanted to like this place! My coworker and I stopped here in between meetings to grab a chicken wrap. When selecting the toppings for the wraps, the worker placed the smallest amount of toppings possible. For example, when selecting lettuce, the worker placed three tiny shreds of lettuce on the wrap.this theme continued for creating the whole dinner. Horrible value for the price and the food is average at best. After making the wraps the worker could not remember who's wrap was which and told us "to take a bite of each and then figure it out".

If you're looking for great donair, try Mr. Shawarma instead - their food tastes better, they have better customer service and their food is less expensive for more appropriate portion sizes.

Great beef kebob, shwarma and baklava.

Price is under 20$/plate.
Will come back whenever I am in Vancouver.

This restaurant is one of the best, cleanest and most delicious Arabic restaurants in Vancouver, I live in Victoria and I go every month specially to eat in Baghdad Restaurant, the owner's treatment and welcome is excellent, an excellent restaurant by all standards, thank you Baghdad Restaurant

Kinda disappointed with this place, they claim to have halal chicken meat but the taste was completely opposite. I took a chicken shawarma wrap and it was very much like me ordering a sub at a subway.
I ordered Iraqi chai towards the end of meal and the owner/ server asked me to get cups from 7-eleven next door as they didn’t have cups to serve chai. Lol.

Visited the many times the food is always good, especially tikka and kebab and the new staff were amazing, all the restaurants and cafes should have this type of staff special thanks to Gursimran and Mukul who gave me such a wonderful service all should visit the cafe and enjoy the food and best service given by these two guys.

Worst food ever. They will serve you cold kebab heated in microwave. Complementary tea was not available. AVOID at all cost!

New go to place when in Vancouver went there twice Friday and SAT when I was in town fresh, flavourful and big portions. The guys running the place care and it shows. Highly recommended.

Stopped in for a quick supper meal as this restaurant is cafe style, meaning you select from a counter and pay. Dining area is small but expected for the type of service provided. Two of us ordered the Chicken Shawarma, one with cucumber beet salad and Tzatziki and the other with cucumber salad and Hummus. The meals also came with rice and pita bread. The chicken was shaved off of a rotating spindle. It was very flavourful. Portion size was ample. The beet salad could have used more beets it was mostly cucumbers. They advertised free Iraqi style tea but were not offering it due to Covid. I appreciate that we could not serve our selves the tea but do think the server could have poured cups for those who asked. Also they did not garnish with any olives as done in past visits.

Fast food from the east. Amazing selection and fast service. We ate in the reclaimed curb lane of the street. Covid rules. We landed here after a beautiful bike ride through Stanley Park just after sunset. The food was hot and fresh.

Would absolutely recommend trying this place. Great vibes, tasty dishes, fantastic service. 5 stars.

Everything was okay, but nothing was standout amazing.

I liked the variety of sauces, but the garlic sauce was kinda weak in garlic. The salad was also very mediocre in flavour, and I wish they gave some pickled vegetables. The meat flavour was on point, but it could've been crispier. No complaints about the rice.

This place is GREAT! I took a kafta kabab wrap and chicken shawarma arabic and both were amazing! The kafta kabab wrap is perfect the meat is juicy and flavorful! Just perfect, also, it is big and full. The chicken shawrma plate is satisfying and you can customize it as you like! The chicken is fresh and tastes perfect!
The staff are amazing and really welcoming and helped me with deciding what to buy since it was my first visit!
Definitely gonna come back and try the rest of the plates!

Best restaurant in downtown Vancouver I was here for a vacation and visited this restaurant because I was told a lot about it. It was more than worth it everyone who’s looking for a fresh and tasty food should try it.

This place never fails to impress. They serve awesome dishes for fair rates, there no long wait even when they are packed.

I was visiting Vancouver and when searched for halal restaurant, it was 3rd on list for rating so tried other 2 which were horrible, then thought will try this and the food was superb! I went twice with great experience. It should be rated number 1 with such good service and tasty food

Great food and service. The chicken platter is my go-to. The perfect combination of chicken, rice, and salad with the various types of sauces. The platter is customizable which allows trying different combinations of each item. They recognize regular customers but accommodating to everyone.

I celebrated my graduation yesterday in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a cool evening and the restaurant was surely one of the reasons for the strong gathering. The crew participated in a lovely style, the cuisine was very good and my friends were so joyful. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

I went here yesterday based on a 4.3 rating but I was absolutely disappointed. I decided to go for a two for these reasons:
- Their shawarma wraps were not tasty at all and my friend had the same idea.
- Mine was a bit bitter as well (could have been one of the toppings)
- not the cleanest place
- pricy for what was served
- very limited toppings compared to other shawarma places I’ve been to.
- they were out of beef early on a Saturday evening.
- (worst) we both felt sick half an hour after leaving the place.

+ The guy at the till was friendly though.

Looking for halal food found this place on a walking distance from my hotel. Tried their Chicken Kabsa Rice. I liked the food it was tasty but it was not like the authenti Kabsa Chicken.

It was more like steam chicken cooked with gravy and Potatoes. The portion size was good and the Chicken Kabsa was served with Rice, Pita, a side of Salad (to choose from different options) and Hummus/Garlic Sauce. Topped with Tahini and hot sace.

I am giving 3 stars because it is not what the dish is named. It is more like chicken potato gravy not Kabsa.

They told us we had to pay extra for drinks even after we paid for the drink+donair combos. People not trustworthy.

The wraps could be bigger but the flavors are amazing and the beets and turnips are a nice touch in the shawarma. The customer service was good too, definitely will return

Got the Shawaffle play for $13 and it seemed like they were skimping on everything. Having to choose between Tzatziki or Hummus (which was a tiny amount) to getting a bad look when I asked for a mix of two salads. The 2 falafel were dry.save your money and go up the street to Pita Wrap Cafe, where the family is friendly and the food is always delicious and generous in portions.

I came to try Baghdad cafe two day before ten pm but they are not on time people. They closed before the time

Food is deliciously amazing! But Baghdad cafe - please stop using plastic bags, cutlery and styrofoam containers! 5 stars otherwise.

Perfect portion size. The chicken shawarma tastes great. Very happy about how they treated customers who had no idea how to order (like me!). Nothing more to say.

We tried four places in the area and this is the first one that uses real beef meat (not ground beef) for the beef shawarma. That's a plus in my book.
We liked the food and they were also flexible to accommodate for keto with a cucumber salad instead of the rice.

Enough quantity and Great Quality.

With one dish just for $15/$20 your stomach gets enough food.

The falafel here are my one of the favourite.

Delicious food! We usually order take out. Interior is fine, but music can be a bit loud for some people! I personally don't mind it myself!

Food looks good, and tastes alright, service is slow though because of how packed it gets. I don't think I got the best showing of the place when I was last here as my chicken was barely warm.

Their food is ok still really far from middle eastern food but it is fine. But their kunafa was super bad they used microwave to melt it.
