Bailey Nelson Optometrist - Main Street

Over the time of selecting my new frames (love ‘em!), being notified of their readiness, and returning to be fitted and to pick up my new glasses, I had great experiences with three different sales folks. Highly recommended!

This is my second pair of Bailey Nelson glasses. First pair was at a different location and they didn't fit well. I came to Bailey Nelson again because they have a great selection of frames to choose from. Main street location has excellent customer service. The associates are very knowledgeable and helpful when needed (not hovering!). Pick up was easy and the staff was very patient with fitting my glasses for me. Definitely recommend Bailey Nelson at the main street location!

I came here to do an eye exam and to buy some new glasses. I used to only go to my regular optometrist to buy my glasses but I preferred the styles of the BN frames that I saw online. The entire process was great. Booking an appointment online was easy. Eye exam was fast, professional, and billed to my insurance directly. I’m sorry that I can’t remember the name of the person who helped me, but he was so kind and patient while I tried on almost every frame in the store to see what would suit me best. I really appreciated his help and the glasses came right when he said they would (10 business days). Pickup was easy. I would definitely come again:)

Recently found a pair I liked and was in and out of the store within 15 minutes. It's my second purchase from Bailey Nelson. Only minor complaint is the glasses were shipped and arrived a week later than I was originally told, but not that big a deal.

My glasses took so long that I probably should have got another exam when I picked them up after a full month.
I’ve bought a few sets here. The price is good but they keep making errors on my prescription. The staff also seem disinterested to assist in expediting things. This really is a case of “you get what you pay for”.

Very happy with the second pair of glasses that took a bit of time to get but were well worth it.
The BN staff were diligent in letting me know there were some lens issues but once they got resolved, they let me know right away. I haven't had a chance to wear the new sunny readers at the beach but they look/feel great.

Walked in to inquire about an eye exam. The two staff members were busy with customers, however, zero acknowledgement of any kind when I entered. Walked around a couple minutes looking at the glasses then stood there waiting. Seemed too busy so left for a bit. Came back after awhile, again no acknowledgement. Stood there waiting again for a few minutes before having to approach myself.
Staff seemed nice to the people they were helping but zero customer service towards me. They've lost myself as a customer.

Helpful staff, great variety of frames, affordable, and with direct building I didn't have to spend anything out of pocket – excellent experience all around.

Staffed by friendly folks who went above and beyond to get me a set of frames that fit properly. Also the only brand that consistently has frames that fit my large noggin.

I had an awesome experience here! First of all great styles that I would like no matter the price. But oh my gosh, I'm always so astonished that it could be that low! After my insurance, I only had to pay $45 and that was with the Blue Light filter add-on. And now that you can have an optometrist appointment right in store - amazing. Everyone was so wonderful, helpful and friendly. I felt very safe COVID-protocol-wise, which is saying something because I have rarely been anywhere in the last 10 months. So happy - thank you!

I was getting my very first glasses and was told by many people to go to Bailey Nelson to get them because they had great customer service. The team at the Main Street location did not disappoint. I particularly liked when the staff took a poll between all of them on what glasses looked the best on me. I felt well taken care of.

I like the glasses but have found the staff to be pretentious. When they ask if you have "any idea what you're looking for, " it comes off more condescending than helpful. And I knew exactly what I wanted.

Had a super experience both with my exam and with trying and ordering my new contact lenses. Best in years!

Staff are very helpful and co-operating. Optical items are very high quality against the price. Four star is just for they do not have wide variety of designs. Most of them are pretty close to one another in terms of design.

We took my mother in law here for a pair of sunglasses. They were so helpful and genuine. We really appreciated the sincere patience they had with her hearing problem. Now I just bought my first ever pair of glasses here and got the same great service. Having never worn glasses before, I had no clue what to look for and they were very helpful in finding the right shape for my face. Other places had just pointed at the wall and told me price points, not at all helping me with style, size and shape. Thank-you Main Street, 5 stars

Dr. Christine Ma is one of the kindest and sweetest optometrists I have ever had the pleasure of doing an eye appointment with. Not only was she incredibly quick, but she was great at listening to all of my questions while going further to ensure I left feeling happy with my new prescription. The staff at BN Main Street are also incredibly cool and approachable, and I definitely would go again for their fantastic customer service and overall wonderful vibe. 10/10!

Wow! What a great experience shopping at the Main St.location. Nikki is such a pro and helped me to pick out the perfect glasses. She gives honest advice and has a great eye for style and treated all customers who came in with a friendly and helpful attitude. The store was clean and comfortable. I also love that they do direct billing to my insurance company.

Great company and great service. Glasses are just as high quality as you'd get from any major glasses company, but at about a quarter of the price. While store itself may have a somewhat more limited selection than the bigger chains, they have any style you'd want in 2021.

Staff are extremely nice and truthful about how I look in each pair I try on, which I appreciate since I'm pretty style impaired. Would recommend you check out Bailey Nelson if you're looking for your next pair of glasses.

Good quality, service and prices from Bailey Nelson on Main Street. They design and make their own frames which are better quality than some designer frames.

I had a great experience at Bailey Nelson. The optometrist was great and the glasses specialists helped me find a pair of glasses that I really like.

I had an appointment in December and it was probably the worst experience I've had for an eye exam.

I arrived to my appointment 5 minutes early. There was a line out the door for shoppers but I had an appointment. I asked a customer if this was the line for appointments and the customer told me that I should pop my head into the store and ask where I should line up. I had a mask on, slightly opened the door and before I could say anything a man who was wearing glasses/brown hair (I assume he was some type of manager by the authority he had the nerve to do this) he says out loud from the back of the store with index finger up telling me " go outside. " and I said "yes, I just wanted to ask if there was a line for appointments" and continues to say "go OUTSIDE. "

Anyways, I'm already pretty annoyed with the attitude. Long story short, I never went to my appointment because I continued to wait for 20-30 minutes for my appointment. Also, the prices for an eye exam here are way too expensive. You can go somewhere else that won't give you attitude, make you wait 30 mins passed your appointment time and overpriced eye exams.

Best experience I have ever had. Christine is an amazing optometrist and Jacob was incredibly helpful with choice of frames and getting the specs all correct on three different sets of glasses. I'll be a regular customer. Frame selection great and great value!

I just recently made an appointment with the Bailey Nelson Optometrist on Main Street. And I would like to express how easy and safe it felt to be at this location. Although it was busy, the employees were able to handle the line in a safe and timely matter. Everything was also sanitized well and the workers were able to help customers step by step in following the safety procedures set for COVID-19.

The eye exam part was also very clean and safe. Dr. Christine Ma, step by step help me through the exam, and made it feel comfortable.

I highly recommend this place!

The staff in the store are great: friendly, patient and helpful. Today I was in for an eye exam. I've had them done at other optometrists, where it felt like I was in and out in 10 or 15 minutes. Dr. Ma at Bailey Nelson took the time to be thorough, to answer my questions and explain what she was doing and why.

A great place to buy glasses and a great place to get your eyes properly tested.

Super friendly and informed staff who genuinely wanted to help me find the best look and fit for me and allowed me to take as much time as I needed. Very clean and professional space, COVID precautions were well considered and super manageable.

Went to get my glasses fixed today, the woman who came to help said "what do you want" when she came to help me. I did make a mistake in opening the door instead of waiting outside (I missed the sign, my bad), but the poor service the woman gave in response was quite exaggerated. The whole experience made it seem like she was disgusted that I was there. My glasses are fixed now but it would have been nice to be treated with a bare minimum amount of respect.

I visited Bailey Nelson with my mother to get progressives made. The store has a pretty good variety of frames. What really impressed me was the customer service that Jacob offered. He is extremely patient and empathetic. He understood my mother's requirements and helped her try a large variety of frames suggesting what may or may not work. I loved how candid he was and the pain he took in explaining about what each frame would feel like. I haven't met a better customer service person with as much clarity coupled with warmth being offered to his customers. Thankyou Jacob!
