Rlly cute shop with such great pastries.the matcha cheese tart was rlly good, the perfect balance of strong match and creamy cheesiness.i would come back and try other treats!

By far the most delicious pastry in town! Try the cream filled eclair shaped product. It’s just dreamy. My fave.

Unique! But when I stop to think, it wasn’t anything special.

The quality is good! It is what it is.

It tasted like whipped cream cheese in a puff pastry. It was light, I could eat two! The puff pastry itself was a bit dry and could use more flavor.

It’s a literal hole in the wall, so you’ll have to eat at one of the many public seating options.

Walkable distance from the skytrain and there’s some metered parking.

Everything is good, just one thing, when I opened my box, my strawberry cheese tarts are green which means mistaken matcha.

The cheese tarts and cream puffs are only available after 2pm! Came here the first day in the morning to learn this. Came back day after about 315pm and all the cream puffs were already sold out. Quite disappointing but still tried the cheese tart which was rich and flakey

My son brought home 4 croissants, 2 savoury and two sweet. Everything was fantastic, probably the best I have ever had. The ham and cheese with mornay sauce was decadent yet light and flakey. My wife thinks the almond croissant is out of this world.

Have been here a few times. The cheese tarts both the original and the strawberry are really light and well balanced. The creampuff is also quite good. The croissants were average but overall its a nice spot with great pastries.

B49 Bakery and Coffee located in Yale town. Known for its Japanese cheese tarts, cream puffs, cheesecakes. We went late in the afternoon so only thing left to try was the cheese tarts. Super soft and light with a crispy crunch once you bite into it. Yummy! We’ll be back. No seating or parking. Pop in to order and take away, you won’t be disappointed.

The cheese tarts are delicious! My favorite is the original one. Will definitely be back for a drink and the cream puffs

Their croissant is no doubt in top 3 among all the bakery shop within metro Vancouver. Although the quantity is limited but the quality is perfect. Definitely worth lining up for.

While I was in town for work, I discovered this spot which was on my route home after my morning run with my dog. The order window makes it really great for any dog owner looking for a treat without having to worry about tying up their pet.

And the pastries? Out of this world. I ended up running further every day just so I could treat myself afterwards. The blueberry cronut is absolutely delicious, as are the cheese tarts (worth standing in line for), but the best thing? Their full sized cheesecakes which are fluffy little clouds of perfection. I got one for a friend’s birthday on a whim and then ended up needing one just for me.

The staff is also just really sweet and friendly, always offering a treat for my dog. They made my day every morning and put me in a good mood for all my boring work stuff.

I may come back to visit just for the cheesecake!

Really BAD service and staff attitude！I just know the person lined front of me, the staff said we’re a group so if the person front of me buy six puffs, I can’t buy a puff? It didn’t make sense to me. I wonder to know If I am just asking someone in the line which flavor is best, will the staff consider we are a group so that person who answer my question can’t buy a puff?

I tried both the cream puff and cheese tart. The cream puff was delicious and filled with different cream compared to other common puffs. I would definitely recommend people to try it! The cheese tart tastes good but not too special.

Fantastic little hole-in-the-wall bakery. The croissants were perfect, flaky on the outside and soft and buttery inside. The custard crofin was amazing, sugary flaky croissant pastry filled with a smooth and delicious custard. Prices were good. Love the location. I will definitely be back.

Creamy, tasty cheese tarts that are not too sweet and delicious! Reminiscent of eating cheese and crackers with cheese whiz spread in a good way.

Delicious tarts! You can feel they melt in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tip: if you buy more tarts it’s cheaper and they only accept cards

My favourite place to get croissants in Yaletown! Cheese tarts are great there too. If you’re more of a fan of pastries with fresh whip cream this is the place you should go. Drinks and savoury pastries are also fantastic. Bonus points because I can also bring my dog!
They’ve been having some kitchen issues lately so watch their social media for any changes in hours, but frankly they’re always worth the wait!

Really enjoyed the croissants here. I thought they were crispy and airy and full of flavour. Would reccommend the ham and cheese croissant or the almond croissant. Just make sure to go early before they sell out!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I am a little biased bc I always have my dog with me and the fact it is a take out window is just brilliant. Coffee is great, pastries are delicious. I love it here!
