Had my windshield replaced and they were very accommodating to our needs. Very professional.

If my review is still here, it means the situation was never rectified.
I got into an ICBC appraisal done two months ago. After a month, I followed up with ICBC and they still had not received the claim. After a week of phone tag, Bannister said they said they just submitted it to ICBC. A month later, my car is still broken, ICBC has still not received the appraisal (two months after the appraisal), and I’m still playing phone tag. I’d go elsewhere but they have the photos from right after the collision that still have hair from the deer in them. It doesn’t seem like they can manage their workload so you’d be helping them out by taking your business elsewhere.

Excellent interactions with the guy who assessed the damage, ordered the parts, etc. I got prompt answers to every question I had. They did an excellent job repairing. I liked the courtesy car they provided too.

They put the wrong control arm on one side of my truck.i had two different size and angle control arms on the front end. Theres no way they safety check their work or do alignments since they didnt even notice two completely different control arms with different angles on either side. Didnt even fix the rest of the issues and steering rack broke within warranty period but they refused to honor warranty as the shop manager told me over the phone i probably abused the truck offroad so he voided all warranty without even seeing the truck. Honestly surprised theyre allowed to work on vehicles.

Awesome job on the painting and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this shop to everyone in need of paint and body.

I had an awesome experience with Banister, a team of professionals that helped me and guided me through the process of repairing my car. I didn't know what to do after someone broke my glass last week but all it took was a call and they started helping me already, especial thanks to Brad who had patience to explain to me how the claims work and got my car in for repair in less than a week, to the reception lady who came early one day to take my car, my keys and arranged for me to get a courtesy vehicle later that day, and to the repair team I didn't interact with them but they did an awesome job I'm super happy with the results.

Ok this not really a body shop. They really just put new parts on and paint no special skills reqired for the most part. If u need body work look further.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had a serious paint problem with our 9 year old Honda Pilot. From the onset of dealing with our issue, Jesse and his team were fantastic. We were treated with respect, friendliness and were extremely satisfied with the process from start to finish. The high level of customer service we received is something does not exist anymore. Our repairs were completed early, we were provided a nice little courtesy vehicle and they Kept us informed throughout. We are not sure where some of the negative comments come from, but suspect they are an ICBC issue and not with Bannister. We are very impressed and will recommend to anyone we know needing auto body services. Thank you!

Do yourself a favor and go to a different shop. The shop manager is a clown, overwhelmed and doesn't know what he is doing. Only thing they care about is getting it out of the shop as fast as possible, sacrificing the quality of work. Took my audi there after an accident, everything seemed fine other than the drivers side fender and hood weren't matching up. When I asked Jesse about it he told me no car is made perfect and they come like that. Took it to another shop in town cause I knew it was a lie and that's when I found out he had stuck an aftermarket fender on instead of an OEM audi part. ICBC is supposed to give you the choice of whether you want to pay the difference in the part price and when I brought that up with Jesse he started getting flustered and started crying about how overwhelmed he was. The guy messed my car up and then when I asked to fix it basically said it wasn't his problem. One of the most incompetent people I've ever seen do a job. Also did work on another one of my cars and did more damage to it then he actually fixed. Please do yourself a favor, save yourself the headache and take your car somewhere else.

Seriously the best service! Having an accident is stressful, and EVERYONE at Bannister Collision & Glass in Vernon was so helpful, professional and considerate. Highly recommend this place!

Repaired our vehicle without permission. We explicitly stated that we did not want repairs done, only an estimate. By all accounts this vehicle should have been written off by the insurance company. The staff were unfriendly from the start to the point of being rude. It is as if they have never dealt with actual customers. Jesse has absolutely no customer skills. He even admitted fault in our case but refused to try and make things right in any way. By Jesse's own admittance, they just get them in, fix them and get them out. Might be fine if you own a fleet and just send your work there. If you have to actually deal with the people at Banister good luck.

Bannister Collision exceeded all my expectations. From the speed of the repairs, the professional service from their staff, and the top quality workmanship. I would recommended them to everybody.

Very helpful and understanding, were able to assist us right before closing on a weekend. Lots of communication on updates with our vehicle. Made a very unfortunate situation better with great service and even a customer gift in the end! Would definitely recommend.

My brand new truck had a hit and run, it was one of the worst feelings I've ever had discovering the damage. Bannister called me minutes after my insurance claim had been placed to confirm all the details of the drop off time and process. From the first call I recieved to picking up my truck was a matter of days. They are extremely efficient, professional and knowledgeable at Bannister. My entire experience with them was outstanding, my truck looks like new again and they even went the extra mile to wash and detail the inside of my truck for when I picked it up! Thank you for turning this horrible experience of a hit and run into a long lasting trust and confidence in your workmanship and quality. You guys rock!

Start this off by saying what a friendly group of people, from the front desk staff to the mechanics in the back everyone is smiling! I got some body work done on my car, and my window fixed which I thought would take at least a week to order parts, and get put on etc. Jesse had it done in within 3 days, my mind was blown, and they also provided a free courtesy car. Emasculate Job on the car also! Thanks guys! 5 stars all the way!

HUGE RAVE for Jesse and the team here. The truck box was a mess from a run-in with a parkade pylon. Jesse got an incredibly competitive quote back to me the same day I emailed. Super quick, professional, and thorough service from start to finish. The truck was in and out, looking brand spanking new, in a couple of days. Great communication and lovely team of people. Hands down 5 stars!

They did a great job on a complicated color match, everything looks factory original and i am no longer plagued with a corrosion issue on my older vehicle, Jesse and his techs were a pleasure to deal with.

I came in to get my civic fixed, the left side had been struck and the bumper was damaged. I also needed my windshield replaced. Not only did they do a great job of repairing both problems, but they washed, waxed, and detailed my car after they were done. Definitely recommend them to anyone who gets in an accident. P. S. We had to take our vehicle in to be repaired after being hit. The staff were awesome to deal with and made sure we had a reliable vehicle to use while our vehicle was being repaired. Bill was a life saver yesterday! My son locked himself in the car, holding my keys. I didnt know what to do, and out of nowhere Bill pulls up and asks if I'm locked out. I explained what happened and he ran home, grabbed some tools and rushed back to help get my son out. This is real customer service! He didnt have to stop and help but he did. High reccomend going to Bill at Bannister Collision. I know I will be!

I have taken two vehicles to Bannister Vernon, requiring minor and more major bodywork, and both times have experienced exceptional customer service, friendly staff and fast, professional repair jobs. Vehicles were returned looking like new!

Above and beyond what I expected and they handed me my cars back looking like new, again on the inside and outside.on 2 separate cars I have sent there, One being my hot rod.which I am very picky about.very satisfied.
