The quality of the beard cut that they gave me is one of the worst that I ever had.
They did not style the beard after the trim.
They didn’t use aftershave product after razor shave, so I had to use my own afterwards.

Now I have to go to another place to get everything fixed.

Great experience.

Haircut was with Charles, very nice guy. As I am from the UK I was not a regular but he made me feel very comfortable, knew exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond recommending new things to try. He explained them thoroughly before going ahead and knew exactly what he was talking about. Cannot recommend enough for haircut and beard trim!

Charles is a fantastic barber! I recently moved downtown and needed a new barber after having the same one for nearly 15 years. Charles immediately put me at ease, made sure he took the time to understand what I wanted, and delivered on exactly that. Now that I've built trust with him over the last few months I’m now asking for his opinion on styles that suit me and he has never let me down! Highly highly recommend asking for Charles as your barber!

Ask for Charles, and you won't regret it as he is extremely talented at what he does. My hair is a bit tricky, having had surgery and all, but he manages to do a fantastic job every time.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff providing great quality service while being professional and personable. Parking directly in front of shop. Easy to find on GPS. 10/10 reccomend!

Go here and get a cut that’s exactly yours for you, had a barber/stylist work on something I liked for a couple months until It was something that made me bizarrely happy. Never knew I cared that much about hair

Charles is but one of the pretty cool talents here, Fernando has an exceptionally clean fade. Just blown away in general.

Neglect which created an unpleasant stay during the whole process. I just wanted to finish it quickly and leave.

My usual spot was closed today, and thank god cause it led me here. Best experience at a barber shop thus far. Charles was personable and really showed care about the customer experience, he gave me his professional opinion on what he thought would look good and it was amazing. Really chill vibes and great atmosphere. Will 100% be back!

I just moved to Van, needed a new barber, and took a shot with Barber and Co. Charles was fantastic and suggested a different haircut for my face shape. It turned out amazing and I am super happy! I have definitely found my go to moving forward.

Colin was an absolute disaster. Very poor customer service, very pushy and way too aggressive on my hair. A true shame

Got my hair cut here on the weekend.great cut but lost 1 star because other barbers were walking around with their masks pulled down the whole time. I got asthma so i probably won't be back even though my hair looks great.not worth the risk

I got a normal haircut. The lady was nice don't get me wrong, we had a chat but after not being helped on time I was dispatched in literally 10 minutes. The result is okay.but I was expecting more from this place: less hair pulling, correct imperfections, don't be rushed.they were not a hundred percent with me there. If I come back I would like to have a different experience next time. Tip: customers like to look at themselves in the mirror.

Brendan is amazing as a barber, as a friend and as a person! Definitely recommended. The overall staff has great energy

My barber Fernando is such a personable upbeat guy with an eye for detail. I always leave with a nice clean fade and a better mood.

The ambiance is great and the staff so nice. Emily was the who cared for me, she did an awesome job. After a whole year without going to a barber shop, I am glad to have waited that long to get such a good result. They're being being very professional and safe Covid-wise

I really wish there was someone here who could just do a subtle hair trim and not take too much off all the time. The masks make it even more challenging, I’ve left with asymmetrical cuts and I think it’s time to find a better place. The price is comparable to other salons but not the attention to detail or quality.

Haircuts are hit and miss. But there are good stylists/barbers at each location. That would be a 4-star experience on average.

-2 stars for the awful spam of a booking system. Yes, it is that bad. Got 5 text messages and 4 emails in 12 hours. The people at their front counter have confirmed that other patrons have complained about this for months. There are better ways to communicate than spam.

Have gone many times, and have a few different barber's, and never a complaint! Ryan, and Fernando are great｡‿｡

I really like Barber&Co Yaletown, it has a very cool vibe. Ryan does a great cut every time with an excellent fade. Friendly, great value, and also clean - they're taking covid very seriously. Recommended!

I don’t normally leave reviews but I had great experience. They take safety very seriously and I felt very comfortable being there.

Everyone wore masks and they provided me one for free (rare thing these days)

All of the staff were friendly, professional And authentic.

My chair was cleaned before I sat down and all of the equipment was sterilized as well.

Place runs like a well oiled machine.

This should be the gold standard for every business during these times.

Always great barbers, and I've always had a good time when I've had to book an appointment on the fly and try someone I haven't been to for a cut before.
Fernando, Leo, and Ryan always have me leaving fresh and on point.

I’ve been going here for years. They hire great barbers who do great work. I’ve never left disappointed with my cut.

Finished my haircut today with barber Gary Vambeck.

I usually go to the Main Street location, and am always satisfied. However, today was very disappointing.

- I felt rushed throughout the process
- Gary did minimal to inquire about what I wanted, and failed to make any suggestions
- He was apprehensive when I pointed out how my upper side burns were visually uneven
- he was reluctant to engage in conversation

Overall, I am going to stay with the Main Street branch. I have found the junior barbers there are much better at both the haircut and overall experience.

Took my friend for the hot shave, treat before taking off on 3 month backpacking adventure.

I had Brendan who did a really good job and was talkative and fun - would visit him again.

However, my friend had Reuben and we were unfortunately unimpressed. On the original shave (that we left with) there were multiple spots missed. We went back in right away and he seemed unimpressed and seemed to not see the missed parts and only fixed the areas I pointed out. There were a couple of things still missed and the sideburns were uneven.

A rare experience in hair styling for men in this uniquely conceived establishment in the midst of a plethora of female hair salons in beautiful Yale Town by the waters. I've tried some of the the best and famous names. I am totally impressed with this one for their guts and brain to bring to us men a choice to look our best. Full marks on this one.

Best haircut I've ever had and the most knowledgeable staff working from both anatomy and styling points of view.

Clean and timeless. The staff is so professional and friendly I just love this place. It's hard for me to find a good hairdresser with my afro hair. Leo Cuestas has cut my hair a couple times and his talent, passion and dedication are blowing my mind every time. I can't thank him enough for the way his work makes me feel. I highly recommend this place. WOW

I had an appointment a few weeks ago for a haircut and shave, which were half an hour each from 4pm-5pm.

Because of getting stuck in traffic I reached at 4.10pm. The barber was waiting for me and said - we'll see if we have enough time to do both. I apologized for being late and said that it would be nice if he could fit it in, I was only ten minutes late and I was starting a new job the next day. He said in a mocking tone that if it was so important I should have come on time.

The haircut itself was okay, he was competent at the job but I wouldn't say the experience was exceptional. There wasn't much chatting because of the awkward start to the appointment.

What bothered me was that he was done with both the haircut and shave by 4.40. Basically he knew that he had enough time, but was rude to me anyway. I tipped him but I am never ever coming back to this salon.

I went over there and asked for a cut. After receiving the cut they gave me a mirror to look at the back, I found out that they shaved it bald, when I asked for a 2 on the back. Never come here. Definitely don't recommend.

I’m visiting from California and did a walk-in. Was lucky to get a haircut from Chloe, the manager, who was very accommodating. Since she learned I’m usually always trying new barbers and salons, she took the time to consult with me and give me tips so I can learn what to share with other barbers back home. Most people wouldn’t bother since it’s a one-and-done deal if it’s an out of town visitor.

The location and service was a great experience, but I walked away with more than a haircut. Impressed!

These guys know their stuff. Fast, accurate cuts, and a laid back atmosphere. I have pretty thick, fast growing locks and my cuts usually take an hour and change. I got an excellent fade, couple inches off the top, and really thinned out in just 35 mins. Although I booked a cut and rinse online, I only got a cut. They only charged me for just a cut though, which is great. I'll be coming back here.

My experience at Barber and Co was unfortunately bad. I wasn't recognized when I walked in until about 10 minutes later, the prices are way too expensive and I wanted a haircut and beard shave. Also, after taking the time to do my beard the barber still managed to miss lots of spots on my face. I got home and had to shave the spots that the barber missed because I looked like a goof. I will never be going back again!

Favorite place to get a cut - not cheap but it is the best value. Best crew in the city. I love the wooden interior of the shop, free drinks before a cut, and all the extras (hot towels, lotion, aftershave).

Matt's my go-to whenever I'm in the area. The team here is friendly, straight to the point, and are skilled at what they do. The quality is always consistent and I know I can rely on Matt whenever I'm booking my slots.

Very very expensive and it doesn’t worth it at all. The guy who cut my hair was not professional at all. He just wanted to finish it quickly and he charged me $65.

First time at this location, but not first time with barber & co. Had my cut with Ryan, and he was good. Great cut, good style and solid time.

Am relatively new to being a beardsman and needed a haircut and beard trim pretty badly. Gary from Ireland gave great advice for beard grooming and gave me an awesome cut.before and after don’t lie! Will be booking again, sooner than later this time!

Had a great experience at this location. My barber was on time, and easy to talk to. I enjoyed how casual the environment was, felt more like I was hanging out and talking with friends, rather than being seen as just another appointment in their day.
10/10 will be back.

Other than treating people like there lesser than they can't communicate properly. If you call and make an appointment you better be prepared to wait a while when you get there if you make it for 1. You will be seated at 2. I recommend in salon amazing band diverse staff everyone gets treated like royalty and they always have great hairdressers

After leaving the City of Richmond I had to find a new barber. It took a couple of attempts then I found Barber and Co, Yaletown. There I met Meghan Rushton and we found an immediate connection. She has a great personality and is an exceptional barber so much so, she has a large client base which means you need to book well in advance.
The shop is well located with metered parking and has a bright, vibrant atmosphere. On entering you will always be greeted and welcomed in even if you don’t have an appointment, someone will always try to accommodate you. I highly recommend Barber and Co, Yaletown.

Set an 11am appointment and the hairdresser was head up about 15 minutes finishing another client—I was understanding of this. I then watched the hair dresser chatting with reception at the front for 5 minutes while I was running late for other appointment. Frustrated I left, very poor customer service.
