There's a barber named Junya at the barber & co on main street, and he is one of the most talented barbers I've ever had. I've seen him for the past year and he's never given me a bad cut.

For the past years I've only had 1 bad haircut here and that's when I cheated on my usual barber. Recommend to all friends but is $60 for a haircut.

Always a treat getting a shave here when I'm in Vancouver! Friendly folks, and their pupper is the greatest mascot for a Barbershop!

Just had a cut with a new barber, Elluna. Her first day in the shop, and it was my first time at the location in a while. Wherever she came from, she knows her stuff. The shop is always cool, and if you can book her you definitely won’t be disappointed.

I had my hair cut today with Elluna. I was her client when she worked Downtown and when she told me that she is moving to a new shop I didn’t hesitate to go there.
She did a great job today with consulting and the cut itself. Elluna is creative in her work but moderately, so she can help you to get better result if you want. I wanted to arrange my hair as I used before, but then we discussed it and came up with even better solution.
I also liked Barber & Co better then my previous shop Downtown – nice atmosphere, friendly people, some beer and great hair cut definitely made my day.

Have been going here for over three years and always impressed. Special shout out to Mariah for her hair expertise

I dislike they're Donnelly's however after trying all the local barbers. They continue to be the best. That gives you a haircut you ask for, take time on the style and design. Reasonable price as well. All round, top notch.

I arrived today at my scheduled time to see Corey for a haircut and beard trim. Upon arrival I was told he went home for the day but someone named junior would do my cut. I intentionally scheduled with Corey as a repeat customer and would have happily rescheduled with a little notice. I wasn’t given that curtesy. Total failure on the customer service end. I won’t be back nor recommend friends. Adios.

I have booked with Daniel for just a quick cut today,
But he did his job done so professionally in a perfectional manner.

First time coming here and was very impressed! I had Mariah for a cut & wash followed by a hot shave and cannot say enough good things about her. Good conversation, great cut and styling of the hair, and a very relaxing hot shave. Thank you for the great service.

I've been seeing Jasmine for almost 2 years now. She does the best fades and cleans it oh so nice with the safety razor. Her attention to detail is on point.

I've been here twice now for some buzz cuts and they have both come out wonderful. The environment is really nice and Alex is very personable. If you're looking for a nice cut at a more than reasonable cost consider Barber & Co

When it comes to my hair, I'm more of a walk-in-on-a-Sunday kind of person; I don't like booking way in advance. Maybe I'm a procrastinator, but it's always worked for me. I just like to squeeze the most of every minute I've saved myself. What I really like about Barber and Co. (Main St) is that it's never that hard to get an appointment for same or next day service. The cuts are consistently good, the vibe is right, and the barbers know their craft. That's all I'm looking for.

Not too bad, but definitely overpriced for what you get. Would expect a little more attention to detail for the price.

I choosed to have a hair cut today at 9AM in this place because I had in the past a very good experience with MARIAH who did a very good job. Today I made a terrible mistake by choosing to have a hair cut with "COREY" who delivered the worst experience and worst result. I am 36 yo and this is the worst haircut experience of my life. They didn't ask enough questions and turned the seat where I couldn't see anything. They said you will see in the end when I asked to turn the seat in the direction of the mirror. They were aggressive and impulsive as they cut everything when I expressed my dissatisfaction. The way they adressed me and the way they touched me gave me the feeling of not being respected. Today I wasn't treated as human being. I will try today to talk to a manager because no manager was there!

I was not completely satisfied with my experience. It was an okay haricut, but there was no attention to detail, I noticed later that strands of hair were not trimmed evenly and bits of hair left behind. They only worked on my hair for 15mins. Honestly for $42, I would have expected better quality.

Went in to get 2 years worth of hair taken off. The staff was extremely nice, and my barber, Corey, gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Highly recommended

In our current state of affairs, I booked an appointment online and paid in advance. I am fairly patient and understand it is a customer/quality driven business. I appreciate the attention to detail that the individuals give to their clients and the quality result of that. In no way am I criticizing that. What happened today was that I had an appointment for a set time, I waited outside the shop until my time as we have a climbing Covid-19 case count in Canada. Upon my check-in they said to have a seat and the barber would be right along. Crossing over 25minutes sitting in a wait room, they finally tell me they will require more time before I will be seen. Again I’m fine with waiting, just give me the heads up earlier in the wait so I can choose to either wait outside or reschedule, as opposed to sitting inside with people well outside my regular bubble. I am disappointed at the poor handling of scheduling and the lack of concern for the customers affected. Sorry isn’t enough, established protocols for effective handling of scheduling and delays is required to keep people safe and help stem the tide of this disease.

First time here, and first time haircut with Darragh. Place was clean and professional, vibe was relaxed and chill. I was super tired and didn't have much energy for conversation, but it was fine because Darragh didn't try to force it, and just concentrated on the cut, which I appreciated. My cut was fairly simple, just clippered sides and back and no length taken off, but he took his time and did a really great fade. Pre-booked my next appointment

I went to see Martin the owner/manager of barber & co and I am so disappointed with my haircut. He completely butchered my hair, I had showed him exactly what I was looking for and came with photos as this has been a style I've been doing for a while and he totally just chopped everything off. And I even told him to keep the back long and he shaved everything in the back off. I've been going to barber & co for a while now but this has been by far the worst haircut I have got.

Last haircut & beard trim was pre-covid shutdown! Great results last week with covid safety protocols all in place. Thx.

My Covid hair needed to be dealt with. In short order I was able to make an appointment with Jen. She comes across as all business at first. Then she warmed up nicely. Relationship orientation was natural for her. Unlike many hair professional, she LISTENED! Happy with the result. Will return.

Very good cuts here, on the mid range of pricing - about $40-50 for a men's cut, no shampoo or shave.

Manager was rude and angry. Not to me. Just in general. Heard him talk loudly and openly about objectifying women walking past the shop. New receptionist was having technical issues with the till (totally understandable, I was patient and happy), but the manager got angry with the receptionist and shouted across the salon. Very unprofessional. I saw a stylist or two cringe, as if his yelling is a regular occurrence. Haircut was ok, but the toxic environment was enough for me to never return.

Matthew did an amazing job. Today was my first time having him cut my hair. Highly recommend! He took his time and paid a lot of attention to detail.

I am unable to keep my sideburns level, at least I wasn't until I met Colby and Darragh at Barber & Co at a random Trivia night. They are now my go to barbers when in Vancouver.
Thank you for pointing out how off my sideburns were trimmed so I didn't look terrible and invitine me to the shop to get them fixed.

Ive recently moved from the island to Vancouver back in 2018. And was dreading the fact I need to find a new stylist. I’ve tried many barber shops in the lower mainland. Out of the 10+ stylists I’ve had cut my hair, Colby Mudge has been the one to master and understand how my hair grows. I see him once a week to keep the clean cut look. I strongly suggest making an appointment with Colby if you’re looking for a barber to really take their time and understand how you want your style to look. I strongly give Barber & Co Main Street and Colby Mudge a 5 out of 5 rating. Couldn’t be any more happier.

I’ve gone 5 times now.and I must say the entire team working there makes it a cool place to be. And YES if you are looking for a barber. They do a killer job.

I had a very positive experience here. Came in for a standard beard trim and am very pleased with the results. I would definitely come back again.

Had my first cut here and couldn't be happier. I was a bit late and Colby was upfront about his time but still reasonable. I needed a cut and a beard trim and he offered to do both real quick for me.

I have to say for the amount of time we had, he did an amazing job. He even had time to give me some tips and tricks for beard trimming at home.

I've found my new barber and will definitely be seeing Colby again but I'm going to say this is a top notch place as everyone there seemed super talented.

I have been going to this location for years now and have always had a good experience. However, my current barber, Ariel Tylor, has taken it up a notch. She's been one of the best barbers I have had. She is meticulous, communicates clearly and concisely to discuss the plan at the beginning of the haircut, while going through the process, and at the end to ensure that I leave satisfied with my haircut each time.

First time at Barber and Co. Today. Great experience! My beard has never looked better! Super friendly staff, great customer service, laid back environment! Return visit a definite in my mind! I highly recommend visiting these Guys and Gals for your hair and beard needs!

I'd been a happy customer for a few years, hence 3 stars, however customer service here has taken a dive latley.

Booking online doesn't count for much because you end up waiting just as long, maybe even longer than folks doing walk-ins. I waited 20 minutes on two different occasions having booked an appointment in advance. I'm ok with someone being 5 or 10 minutes behind, but pushing 15/20 is my cutoff. The reason being is I also manage a daily schedule seeing clients in my job, and it's really not that hard to stay on-time, so I have little empathy for this.

I ended up leaving without getting a cut both times, with no follow up from staff. And on one of these occasions, while I was waiting, three barbers not doing cuts were having a chat about how cheap their customers were with tipping infront of me. Perhaps I'm getting too old for this "chill", hipster place. I highly doubt I'll be back.
