Food was bland, the bowl is mostly beans, and the side of guacamole is a very sad wipe of a knife. Got a burrito and a bowl for $40. Way to over price for mediocre food.

It was our first time to try Bar Burrito at Ironwood Plaza. We had a great experience with the recommendations of Harman. She's friendly and has a nice smile.

Ordered the crispy chicken bowl and extreme chips. It was a disaster. The food had no taste, chicken was super sour couldn't even swallow. Poor quantity compared to the price. Chips were bland, no spice no nothing. I was super excited about this place but totally disappointed.

Wanting to try different burger so tried Sweet Heat burger. Crunchy burger with hint of mild sweet and spice went well with mixed pineapple. Yet light and easy burger despite chicken fried compared to other burger franchise. Definitely want to try other Mexican menu items such as burritos. Gluten friendly burritos and quesadilas on menu.

Everything was light and fresh, staff are nice and pleasant. Glad another Mexican place opened up after the one across the street closed down.

First time here. Got the regular ground beef burrito with everything to try as a standard. It was good and filling. Like most burritos with veggies, it was messy which was expected.
Ok price for something that will fill you up. I couldn't imagine eating the large burrito in one sitting. Didn't expect to see fried chicken sandwiches on the menu. Liked how you can customize quesadillas.
Would return.

BarBURRITO (Richmond)

This place just opened up recently at Ironwood in Richmond! Yeah I know, it's just another chain restaurant, but I've never had it before.

1. LARGE CRUNCHY CHICKEN BURRITO add Guac $14.89
Overall it was big and definitely kept me full. Taste was good, but nothing amazing. The chicken seemed like it was just random chicken nuggets from a grocery store that was tossed in their special sauce. Too much breading on the chicken. The plain rice also just took up a lot of room and made it more bland. But overall it was decent! If I had to compare this against the $15 Tacofino Crispy Chicken Burrito, Tacofino would win every single time. They are roughly the same size too!

Would I come back? Yes, mainly because Tacofino doesn't exist in Richmond lol. I'll have to try some of their other offerings like the Oreo Churros!

Had a chance to go and try their burrito and bang bang shrimp bowl.very dissapointing.no flavor and they put very small quantity of inexgredients i mean like 4 pieces of corn and I not exaggerating.wouldnt be going again.

Fish taco - fish was not particulary fresh, other ingredients great. I am looking forward to trying their burritos.

Heard about this place from my daughter and had to try it out. Quaint small space. We ordered two large - ground beef for my son and crunchy chicken and one medium crunchy chicken burrito I'll say this, if you have a good appetite the large will crush it. I should've ordered the medium or small. They are definitely generous with their portions. Had rice, black beans, tomatoes, pickled onions, red onions, lettuce cheese, pineapple salsa (try it), guacamole. Sauced it with bang bang and burrito sauce. I ordered two guacamole and two burrito sauces extra on the side as well. Total was about $51 for this meal. The service is outstanding, friendly, attentive, and patient. I had to stop halfway because it was just too much food. I'm happy and satisfied. The large tortilla was beautifully chewy noting its freshness. It was put together well. It had a nice little kick to it from the crunchy chicken sauce that the deep fried chicken was doused in. The only reason why I didn't give it a perfect 5 stars is because I wish the sides of guacamole and burrito sauces were supposed to be 2 ozs but seemed a bit less given the pricey sides. As well, I'd like to try a different protein next time. We will most definitely will be back to try other menu items. Thank you for your excellent service and wonderfully delicious food.

This place is the exact same as Mucho Burrito except the sauces. Flavourless meat, bad customer service etc. They could’ve put some effort into making it unique. If you are hungry and don’t have other options then go for it.

I like the ability to customize your order. Nice variety of options. Staff is friendly and very patient (older lady ahead of me had never been there before and staff was very helpful in helping her decide what it was she wanted, levels of spice, etc). Taste is quite good, though fans of heat won’t find the “spicy” chicken all that spicy.

Price is a tad on the high side, but certainly not unreasonable.

Only downside is lack of seating and no napkin dispensers on the few tables that are available.

Will definitely be back.

They can’t get orders correct and mix them all up. Almost tasteless food. Don’t waste your money.

I‘m picky about tacos and burritos and I was pleasantly surprised to see such high quality ingredients in a Subway style burrito bar. The spicy signature sauce isn’t the typical watered down for Canadian palettes type of hot sauce either. I immediately tasted habanero pepper and it will shock some people but the “lesser” heat sauces are fantastic and full of flavour that most people should tolerate well. I ordered two burritos, the jerk chicken and the pulled pork on whole wheat tortillas. They were simply excellent and my hat is off to the crew for doing such a great job on their first day. This place just opened but they’re going to do really well. If you’re a taco or burrito fan, check this place out.

Great value, delicious food, wide selection. Their burritos are basically a size larger than most competitors I find.

However I must warn you if you like spicy stuff. I have a 300,000 SHU (Scoville heat units) hot sauce in my fridge I use pretty liberally on food quite often and their "Special House Sauce" I think is reasonably hotter than this. So my burrito did come with an extra surprise (though to their credit the individual who made my burrito did warn me this sauce was very hot). I will have to ask them more about it next visit. It's not often you find a restaurant that serves sauce this hot, I hope they keep it available, but might they might want to consider adding a SHU reading to it to inform the public.
