Barcelos Flame Grilled Chicken- Kelowna

Went closer to closing time around 8pm.was our first time trying this little hidden restaurant corner and we where pleasantly surprised, their chicken is good quality and their side salad had some acidity that actually complimented the chicken burger. I personally thought the whole meal for $13.99 was reasonably priced. I would recommend this place to others:)

Three stars for side dish size being smaller than expected for family meal order. Dessert was superb!

We are just visiting Kelowna and stumbled upon Barcelos which kinda reminds me of Nando's so we decided to give them a try. Service was ok since they already have our order ready by them time we arrived, they said they were calling us but there was no missed calls at all.

The chicken was ok and cooked through but it was bland and more on the charred taste. The sides were also on the bland side if not for the sauce. The food might be different if we dined in but for now maybe avoid going for takeout especially in their busier times.

Was refused dine in at 8: 25pm even though they were happy to let us dine in at 8: 45pm 1 month ago. We occasionally drive out of Vancouver for work and arrive here around 8pm and these folks declined to let us dine in even though we are repeat customers & the staff know that we are repeat customers. If dine in isn’t allowed after 8: 30pm this should be mentioned somewhere online or outside the store. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I missed Nando's so I came to this restaurant. I would consider their food to be very similar to Nando's. The difference is the hot sauce is less sour than Nando's so I like it more than Nando's. However, the chicken wings I got were a bit too burnt; it had a slightly bitter taste on the skin and was less juicy than Nando's. Nevertheless, they still tasted good. Classic/peri fries, rice, and coleslaw were also pretty good. Service was above average.

I like their veggie & paneer kebabs/skewers a lot. The peri fries are kinda fun too. The problem I have is they continually mismanage their stock of paneer and try to substitute other menu items on my delivery orders without my consent when they're out of stock. This unacceptable behavior is getting very cringey, wasting my time when I'm hungry, and I'm losing my patience with this restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was burnt and cold, which was very unappetizing. To make matters worse, the customer service was unfriendly and unhelpful when I raised my concerns about the food. Additionally, no one offered me water or any other beverages during my meal. Overall, it was a frustrating and unpleasant dining experience that I would not recommend to others. " I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

This place is consistently amazing. I always get one of the Peri plates, and it always feeds me for a few meals (I eat like a child). This is my go to take out spot as I think it's the most amazing and great priced.

I liked the chicken grill but the flavours are limited and only dips available is ketchup and same flavours if they had mayo or something it would have been better. Also side options for chicken are limited, could add more like bread. It is halal so I could say its okay.

When I went first time with my family the food, service and servers were really very good but second and third time the food quality was bad, service horrible and servers were very rude.

This is a order at the counter restaurant. They have a great variety of chicken dishes. Many levels of flavors.

Very good food, nice change from the everyday burger and fries! They have spicy options for those who like their food on the hot side, and milder options for those who don't! The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely and comfortable! Definitely a good place to grab a quick bite to eat and hangout with friends!

This is by far the worse wannabe Nando’s. Why? Why don’t you be authentic? Having African paintings on the wall? Why? Why! The chicken was clearly baked before they slapped on some wannabe Nando’s sauce on it and then put it on the flame! Over cooked and burned! Why? The chicken livers literally tasted like boiled in salt water and then thrown into that sauce.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!

I have been different locations, portion was smaller than other locations. They need to be consistent

Flamed grill chicken with their Peri Peri sauce is delicious. You have to let them know that you want it hot (temp). They seem to rush the orders
