Food is good but the girl at the cashier is so rude and looks like she doesnt wanna be here

Have been a regular at barcelos but had my worst experience today.
How can you reduce the portion size of the meal to half?

Worst experience.
Paid $35 dollars for 2 half plates of chicken and rice.

NOT WORTH IT!

OK however, sometimes the food is not done the way you asked them to do it, Manager thinks she's the owner can be rude!

I recently had an unpleasant encounter with one of the employees working at the Barcelos, who was responsible for taking orders. Unfortunately, her behavior was rude and unprofessional, which significantly impacted my overall experience.

UPDATE: 28. JUL. 2023 -I continue buying their food. Love the skewers+fries. To go. I like the taste. ///Omg so yummi. When i got it i was doubtful on the presentation, but I finish it. All, that's how good it was. Really well cook not dry at all and not raw.

If I can give 0 star I will give to this store. One of the ladies at the cashier is so rude and mean each time we are there and when I complain to the store manager he said we don’t want you as a client.

I HAVE ALLERGIES TO CRANBERRIES AND TOMATOES. I ORDERED A PORTUGUESE SALAD AND CLEARLY MENTIONED THAT I DID NOT WANT TOMATOES AND CRANBERRIES. WHEN SHE GAVE ME MY ORDER, IT HAD YAM FRIES WHICH I DID NOT ORDER. I ALSO SAE THAT SHE COMPLETELY DISREGARDED MY ALLERGY CONCERNS AND SERVED ME TOMATOES AND CRANBERRIES IN MY SALAD. I WENT BACK AND TOLD HER THAT SHE MADE A MISTAKE. SHE SAID SHE WOULD MAKE ME A NEW ONE. MY NEW SALAD CAME IN ONE MINIUTE. I DID NOT THINK MUCH OF IT. WHEN I ATE MY SALAD, RIGHT AT THE BOTTOM I FOUND A CRANBERRY IN MY SALAD. I WENT TO THE COUNTER AND SHOWED HER THE CRANBERRY. THE LADY AS THE TABLE COMPLETELY GOT DEFENSIVE AND SHE SAID, "IT WAS A MISTAKE. YOU HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS A MISTAKE. BUT WE WERE VERY BUSY AND YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED YOURSELF" WE REMINDED HER ABOUT FOOD SAFETY AND SHE MENTIONED HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE SHE HAS AND THAT SHE ALREADY KNOWS. ALL I WAS EXPECTING WAS ACCOUNTABILITY AND A SINCERE APLOLOGY WITHOUT EXCUSES FOR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS. THANK GOODNESS I DID NOT HAVE A LIFE THREATNING ALLERGY. SOMEBODY ELSE COULD HAVE BEEN BADLY AFFECTED BY THIS. I DID NOT EXPECT SUCH LOW QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A PLACE LIKE THIS.

The server was Supreet.

The quarter chicken breast is actually a whole chicken breast, maybe a little more even. Exceptional service, workers there serve food pretty quickly since there's only two people.

The chicken breast was dry, I mean too dry even. Do note they don't provide your chicken with rice, so make sure to add a side. May come again?

Front desk so route un professional they don’t know how to communicate with customers that’s shame for Barcelos to keep such a employee I hope they should keep eyes on them

I thinkin the food court their quality is very close tothe same as in the restaurant

In all fairness, the food court gets very busy also. They only have one cook.

I think if they extra baste the food and just keep the heat and grills cleaned after every batch and have split shifts. They can manage their tickets better.

One line cook can do only so much.

Barcelos, across the board always look after their customers.

In fact whenever, these guys run out of whole chickens due to Saturday customer ques in the mall they give extra Peace's so customer doesn't feel they lost value.

So people need to also stop hating and simply ask the Barc to fix things if the order doesn't go as planned.

Again, their humans who get paid minimum to living wages max. Restaurant margins and in a food court is highly competitive.

What if you didn't have a barcelos in the food court?

Be thankful to these people and speak nicely. We as customers should also be kind to these employees.

I love Barcelos i tried other locations and it was delicious. Today was the first time i try this branch, i ordered the peri chicken wrap with peri fries and kebab skewers with rice.
The food was good but i think for the portion it is overpriced (38$). The wrap is ridiculously small with little chicken in it, the taste is good though, the fries portion was very small. The chicken skewers were good, the plate comes with 2 but it had little chicken pieces in it, the rice was good.

The girl who took my order was very nice and friendly.

Overall, the service is good, the food is tasty but very small portions and high price. Other locations are better.

Awful. Chicken wings were just deep fried, no taste just blank. Baked potato was not even baked; why advertise it as 'baked'? It was microwaved. Completely tasteless. Sorry!

Need to give more chicken. Peri sauce is not hot enough. Need to work on service. Not worth $15. Young people need to learn to cook. And make coffee.
