Basecamp Lodge Golden

It is probably the best place to stay at, 10mins far from downtown. Brewery just around the corner. Everybody super helpful.

We were passing through Golden and stayed at Basecamp. It was comfortable and in a great location. We will definitely choose this as our Golden place to stay.

Super happy that it says 2 star hotel on Google now although I wouldn't give Jordan the manager even a 1 star. Location was decent, the management however, and the cleanliness of the rooms can use some serious work. I've heard from another friend that stayed here that after her review, the manager or owner who ever responded made up a random story about why they got a bad review. Don't stay here unless you want a hostel experience but the price will not be worth the stay. However they can easily change this by being nice to guests and taking care of their space.

Cosy and comfortable. Friendly staff. Minor point, abut noise from room above. Overall a winner.

The closest lodge to kickinghorse outside of the resort itself. It’s great value - the staff were friendly, rooms clean and common areas give that nice homely feel. The check in process was also so easy and fully automated if you are arriving late or don’t want to speak to anyone.

Highly recommend to stay here! It’s between ski hill and town, super clean, and friendly staff!

Lovely, cozy place to stay in the winter. Kind staff, open fireplace, beautiful cabin construction and common areas. Comfortable rooms with all the necessities.

I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend. We booked over the phone as we were driving into town and we all settled in our room quite quickly. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. I like the morning Continental breakfast - good coffee and muffins. Beautiful location. I really liked the vibe of this rustic mountain hotel/lodge

Stayed here for a ski trip this past weekend. It was a lovely setting. Clean and simple. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the main lobby lounging area was beautiful (esp with the fireplace going). Very simple stay - would definitely stay here again for future trips to Golden!

The design of the lodge is awesome. Coffee and muffins in the morning was a nice touch and the fireplace was really appreciated.

Easy to show up late and check in.
Nice rooms, simple and what was needed. Great log cabin atmosphere. Appreciated the gluten free muffins.

Overall experience was great! Staff was awesome and so friendly and the hotel was very clean and a beautiful facility and beautiful location by the river
