Basil Box

I like the concept of the simple, healthy meals at basil box which is why I ordered this on Uber eats after a week of travel. I got violent and severe food poisoning from my prawn stir fry from basil box. It was a rice, double prawn, and tangy sauce and I have had debilitating food poisoning for 5 days now. Really unfortunate but worth knowing. Must be a one off event based on other reviews.

Was forced to eat it for team lunch. Awful. This is not a pad thai. Have you ever even seen or tasted a pad thai? Noodles were extremely overcooked and so was the chicken. Ruined my day

Starting from food to the decorum, everything was awesome. Loved the food and the interaction I had while ordering it. It's definitely worth a try.

Foods great but worker was rude! This is a fast food business model and I got take out (like subway). Im a regular and normally tip but I didn’t leave a tip today and as I turn to leave the woman at the cashier yelled to her coworker “ugh we aren’t getting food tips today! ” I found it very rude and will not be going back.

Pretty average lunch spot. Today they told me they no longer do the daily lunch specials. This is disappointing, because value for money was previously the reason I ate there a lot. Wouldn’t be surprised if they lose a lot of regulars…

A unique and healthy Thai food place in downtown! Fantastic taste with a pretty good portion size and decent pricing for their food. They have a lot of options on the menu, and I highly recommend their thai milk tea:)

Delicious and flavourful bowls with unlimited toppings. 6 great sauces from sweet, tangy to medium and spicy to choose from! We LOVED the lemongrass chicken rice bowls, excellent value too. They even have daily specials Monday to Friday!

Got delivery, was pretty disappointed. Flavour was lacking, way too sweet, other dish the quality was suspect. Not for us

Worsstt customer service ever experienced. The manager named maybe shabeena something like this.doesn't know how to deal with people. She appeared super arrogant and the behaviour was completely non professional. I would never recommend anybody to visit this branch of basil box.

This is not pad thai at all. And the noodles were all tangled up 3 mins after I ordered. Noodles were so soft and soggy. Not enough sauce. Very disappointed. Will never order it again.

Not great. Bland. I got chicken pad Thai. Barely any chicken. And corn? For some reason. Would not recommend

I absolutely love their food and their Thai Tea. Tried it for the first time. My kids loved their Sweet and Sour Sauce. It was very tangy and fruity, perfect for the kids. They asked me if I can make same thing for them at home too…lol
Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

It was not tasty. Staff are chatting loudly. They were using different language so I wasn't sure if they were gossiping about me or other guests.

Few days ago l've visited this restaurant with my friends and we had our dinner over there. They serve food quickly and it was sizzling hot and too yummyI must say everyone should try this place. Just go for it️

The place is verry nice and it have supper fast serving. The food is really delicious especially the low fat box. I highly recomend it.

The food is really good the atmosphere is really nice the people there are supper kind. The serving is supper fast. I really like the pad Thai with chicken, the best drink is Thai tea. I highly recommend it you should go there ones and check out for your selves.

I really need to say that the food and vibe was really amazing. I would highly recommend high fibre and thai tea. The staff was very helpful and polite.

I go there 4 days a week just to get Thai Tea for me and my co-workers. They also love their Thai Tea. It is sooo amazingggg! MUST TRY!

This is my all time favorite place to dine out from last 3 years because I love their Peanut Sauce. And let me tell you guyss the best part was when I realized they sell sauces on Uber and Door Dash too. A full bottle of Peanut sauce is what makes my meal enjoyable at my home too.

The food here is awesome…the way they treat the customers is the most attractive thing I like most…. I would suggest everyone to visit this place once…

The food was quite healthy and tasty as well we tried tafu pad thai, the flavors were amazing.loved the blueberry basil green tea a lot.highly recommended low fat box.

This spot has quickly become a fave of mine. The Pad Thai is exceptional; the best I’ve ever had. Great people too. ETA - get the pickled veggies & add to your Pad Thai … so good!

Bought the pad thai with shrimp. Asked for it to be spicy, and to add extra meat (chicken).

Also bought one of their tea beverages.

Overall, it was very disappointing.

Pad thai was bland, not spicy. There was enough shrimp, I guess but definitely not enough chicken even though I paid extra.

I paid over 20 dollars for the meal, and to be honest Thai Express is more worth the money.

By far the best quality and healthy food in town. I order from here 1x per week. Keep up the good work love the food!

A pretty tasty lunch! I had a steak bowl with noodles and tamarind sauce. Lots of great toppings and the sauce was yum. A bit on the oily side, but I enjoyed it overall and will try them again - as well, the staff were very friendly!

Great choice for good food at a great price. The coconut curry broth is delicious. Highly recommended.

Ordered take out here through the Ritual app. Food was very tasty and portion size was great. I would definitely come back here and try more of their dishes.

Delicious! Popped in for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how organized it was. I had a make-your-own box and it was great! I also had the MASH grapefruit citrus zing and it was great. The prices were cheap considering it’s location. Signature and make-your-own boxes are $11.95 for a regular size which was very filling. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite in Vancouver!

Jeeesus lord. Probably one the worst tasting "Thai" place. Pad Thai was watery, sauce was off taste, ingredients were random, shrimp were thawed from frozen packs of small shrimps.
The curry chicken Soup noodle was also horrific.
The excuse is probably "it's fusion. "

Fresh, healthy and delicious! I visited several times after opening and was impressed every single time. It’s a very fair price for the quality of food and portion size; the customization options are really nice too. The Thai iced tea is also so good! The best part was the great customer service received from Hank.

I visited this new spot yesterday and ordered the tofu dish with all the toppings that were available- the peanut sauce was delicious by the way. Happy with the quality of food and service from Basil Box. My taste buds were very grateful. Will return and recommend!

Seems to be new and working out some kinks but it’s a great model with good food. The calorie listings and good options make it easy to eat healthy here.

Came here on the recommendation from our hotel concierge. Delightful spot. Friendly staff and fantastic Asian style combination style bowls. Flavourful and beautiful. Not greasy like many other Asian places and I felt good after dining here. Will definitely be back.
