I come to Basil Pasta Bar frequently because I love the create your own pasta option.
The prices are very reasonable.

Andrea has the best service! She is always attentive, sweet and is speedy with my long orders. I cannot recommend this establishment more to anyone interested in either ordering in or eating out!

The food is okay, so is the environment. The only issue was the service. Many customers coming in while the hostess was using her phone and not even acknowledging the people waiting to put up their orders.
The kitchen staff seemed really focused and hard working, while the front desk didn’t seem to care.
I will probably go back to try other stuff, but not in this location.

This is a chain place. I didn't know that before I went in. I did take out, the place, looked like it was abandoned or at least going on a business. The pasta didn't taste fresh. The sauce was tasteless. The staff seem preoccupied. I would not come in this place.

Pretty cute cafe/restaurant. We tried the Linguine pasta in Marinara Sauce with chicken and Spaghetti in Pesto Cream with Chicken. Both with extra cheese and a little chilli flakes on the top, and a garlic toast on the side. It was pretty good for the price and the portions were massive! The garlic bread was super tasty and crunchy. The tiramisu was made with cake, while it tasted pretty good, it was kind of disappointing as we thought it would be the one with lady-finger cookies.

Mixed up two different takeout orders with zero regrets, we wait over 30 minutes for only two pasta with no other customer in the restaurant.

We’ve tried to callback but the staff said she forgot the costumers came in one hour ago so they refuse to refund. Terrible service and experience and never come back again.

For the third time in a row my order is missing an item. Food is always great but very annoying. First time was a whole salad this time was the cake and other time was the drink. Pasta is great but experience is up in the air.

This popular little gem of a restaurant has always been above my expectations and seems like it just gets better each time. The staff is so friendly and warm. I love to go here when ever I can for their beautiful food and awesome team. PS.you won't be dissapointed if you try their desserts too so yummy!

They have all the choices. They are very quick too.

Quaint little place. I see a lot of people for takeout. There's one wheelchair accessible table. Otherwise, the other tables, it's too tall for toddlers. Food is flavorful.

Cool neighborhood pasta bar! Santana was an awesome hostess & server. Minestrone soup was incredible - we had the “small” bowl, and it was more than enough! So fresh and so so so good! The garlic bread was fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Mediterranean Penne was pretty incredible with a ton of goat cheese that made the dish even more delectable! My Gnocchi Bolognese was amazing! Gnocchi was prepared to perfection, and the meat sauce was plentiful and delicious! This place is a neighborhood gem - great value, great staff, and GREAT food!

It was the worst pasta that I've eaten, to be honest. I don't know why other people like it so much, but my experience was awful. We came here with friends, it was not very clean, for example we received a dirty spoon, we ordered spagetti carbonara and it had awful taste in our opinion. The only thing I liked about this place was music, and the service was not bad either. That's all.

We waited for this place to open at 11: 30. We were 20 mins early but the wait wasn’t worth it. The lady didn’t pay attention to us! The seats were all upside down and when i asked her can we sit she said anywhere u want.we had to arrange the seats and seat ourselves on our own. The food that we ordered was overpriced and didn’t even taste good. There were 3 staffs in the restaurant and we were the only customer but no one bothered to ask about the quality of the food. The food was tasteless and uncooked. It was the worst pasta I have ever had in my life. I asked for extra salt and pepper and the lady said help yourself! Also, they didn’t had ketchup! Why the hell do you think we are paying you? Zero stars for the service and 1 stars for the food.

Never ordering from this place again. They always forget something in your order. I ordered a pasta salad and it comes without any dressing or mushrooms. This is not the first time this has happened but it will be the last time for me.

No reason to pay such prices for such terrible quality and inconsistency

Pretty good overall. Reasonable price for a lunch. Good portions. Pasta was tasty. Only complaint I could say is the takeout forks are a bit flimsy but other than that, an easy recommendation.

My partner and I came here after finding this recommendation on maps! I had been eyeing it for quite some time now and I believe the wait was worth it. The service was incredible and they were very welcoming. The food came at a good pace and was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed my meal and how excellent everything tasted. I got the BC Smoked Salmon and I enjoyed the flavours. A salty taste from the salmon mixed well with the sauce. Would highly recommend!
