My 95 jeep Cherokee needed an engine rebuild. They did an engine swap for me - jeep is running great again. Be mindful that their high rating will reflect on how busy they are but worth the wait. Pricing is probably best around. Knowledgeable in older vehicles and imports.

Went for car diagnostic they told me my car needs turbo which will cost me around 3k and for diagnostic they charge around 180. Which I was happy that I know what is the problem. But until I went to different mechanics for something else and I talk about this to that mechanic he did another diagnostic on my car and told me my turbo is good I need turbo intake hose which has hole in it that’s was my turbo not working. What a shame Bavarian auto that’s how you make money telling people wrong diagnostic and I paid for it. I will not recommend Bavarian autos for fake diagnostic and take advantage for those people who are not mechanically inclined.

We were heading up island on a westfalia camping adventure when a warning light came on, and things went awry. Fortunately, we were directed to Bavarian Motors.
Clint and Jeff dropped everything to acquire and install a new alternator so we could resume our trip.

Great place to deal with. They were the only business in town that could do the work we needed on my partners car. They were very patient, informative, professional and just overall a delight to deal with. Plus they are incredibly reasonable with their price of labour. Bavarian has always been there for us. They get you in quickly and fix it. They check my car over carefully every time and let me know what needs fixing right away and what will need maintenance in near future, and how much it will cost. We get a full breakdown of cost and it's always fair. I trust them implicitly with my car and my family.

I had a check engine light while on a road trip near Nanaimo. Bavarian Imports was recommended to me by the Mercedez dealer and they squeezed me in even though i had no appointment and they had a full day schedule. Clint and his team were friendly, courteous and professional. They quickly diagnosed the error code and the problem. They had my car fixed and we were back on our road trip in just a couple of hours. I highly recommend this business.

In the many years of towing cars in nanaimo and dropping cars of at various shops, Bavarian has to be the number 1 place to bring your vehicle to get worked on. Simply because they know what they’re doing and what they are talking about. The service is awesome and they definitely value your time.we have a 2013 TDI that has gotten some well needed maintenance and they did an awesome job! Highly recommend this place!

Clint and the staff are awesome. They replaced the engine in my Jeep, my brakes, manifolds, water pump, and more. Clint was always contacting me with any issues and the solutions. They were as you would hope happy to explain any problems and the process. Even inviting me to come in anytime and watch the progress and it was a laidback atmosphere for someone like myself that isn’t exactly mechanically inclined. Also I know they were more interested in getting me back on the road than focusing on turning a profit. I have only used Bavarian for my Jeep and previously a Mini Cooper. If you don’t have a friend that can help you out with your car problems then let Bavarian and their staff be there for you.
