Bay to Bay Charters was exactly what we needed! We got in a pinch and needed to get to Friday Harbor and found Bay to Bay recommended through another website and it was perfect! Captain Miles was helpful and very personable and we very much enjoyed our trip with him!:)

Great round trip from Genoa Bay to Otter Bay. Saved the hassle of two ferries through Salt Spring Island on a long weekend. Miles was punctual, friendly and communication was prompt and clear. Will definitely use his service again.

Had to get a very last minute ride from Friday Harbour to Sidney, Miles came through for us in flying colours. Waves were rough crossing but he was skilled and always pleasant. Also gave us a ride to Victoria in his van. Really enjoyed listening to his travels and photography background. We went to Spinnakers and saw his talented photos. Was a pleasure meeting Miles.

We had a great experience using Bay to Bay Charters. Miles took us from Van Isle Marina to Pender Island. Helped us with a parking pass, the luggage and took us right to our friends' house. Communication with Miles was excellent in preparation for the trip. We hope we will use Miles's services many more times in the future. It's definitely a great alternative to long ferry line ups.

Miles helped us out in an emergency situation in November 2022 and got me home safely. Now we have had the opportunity to use his services for round trips from Musgrave Landing to Sidney and his valet service to the airport. And we have also had the opportunity to stay in his lovely cosy Airbnb adjacent to Van Isle Marina. Safe, seamless, reliable and friendly. Can’t ask for more. See you soon Miles!

10/10 Experience with captain Miles! I had booked a round trip from Sidney to Friday Harbor, Washington for a weekend with friends. Right off the hop, Miles was responsive, incredibly accommodating, and an all around great guy. He pre organized customs on both ends and made the entire experience seamless. We chartered this vessel for some oceanographic deployments and it went very well. Aft working deck is easy to deploy from and it is nice to have a cabin to escape the elements. Miles is a knowledgeable and competent Captain. Looking forward to the next time.

Miles is an absolute gem, a great guy all around. He took us from Sidney to Cowichan bay and having made the drive many times in my life this has to be the greatest way to travel, and we couldn't have asked for a more genuine, friendly and funny captain. If I could, this would be the only way I'd go from Cow Bay to Victoria!

Our family gathered on Pender Island to celebrate the life of our husband/father/grandfather. I brought my husband's ashes from the US to BC because it was the best way to bring together his Canadian and US families and because we have a tradition of family reunions in BC. We didn't have a full plan but knew it involved the ocean. With a few days left, I thought of looking off-island for charter services. Miles responded immediately and positively. We set a time and he came from Sidney to pick us up on Pender. He took us to a lovely spot in the ocean off South Pender, and our family had an intimate ceremony scattering the ashes of the man we all loved. Miles took photos for us and we so appreciate them! Miles was generous with his time, respectful of the circumstances, and we felt that he fit in perfectly. Thank you, Miles, for being the vehicle for our celebration of a wonderful man.

Contacted Miles very early this morning when we heard our ferry had been canceled. He answered promptly and was able to get us to Pender Island at the time we needed to be there. Would use him again for sure.

It is rare to come across a person that operates their business with absolute integrity and reliability. Miles of Bay to Bay Charters is such a person. I hired him to help get my brother home after a long flight from Europe that was arriving late. When the flight was delayed by several hours, pushing the pickup time until even later, Miles was still there at the airport to meet him. When they were fogged in and unable to cross the water to my house, he helped my brother find a place for the night and made sure to get him to where he needed to be the next day. In our little family we think of Miles as a hero!
