I had a great experience. Wanted to purchase 2 items, I emailed to verify stock count was correct on the website. Got a reply the following day with confirmation. Only have experience ordering online never been in the shop. But I must say excellent customer service.
First order I did was a special order, great help ordering, came in a timely fashion and all was good.
Second order was a battery. Received right away and all good on their end. Then the battery bit the dust in 12hrs. Gave them a call and they said no problem send it back for a new one. I said I am not really trusting of the brand now. He said send it back and we will issue a refund then.
I appreciate not getting the run around and I will definitely shop here more in the future.

Ordered an exhaust for my zx6r, had called them in advance because i never heard of the company before. Customer service was awesome, they asnwered all my questions with care, found out all the details i needed and i got my exhaust in 2 days. I would be happy to do business with them in the future.

Toujours un bon service! J’ai commander souvent chez eux mais ma dernière commande était un slip on m4 pour la mt07 et le code sur la boîte était le bon mais a l’intérieur ce n’était pas la bonne pieces (problème de chez m4 et non de eux) mais il m’ont répondu rapidement on payer les frais de retour et m’ont envoyé aussitôt un nouveau packet! Super service! Toujours important quand on commande online!

Good experience for me all around. If you are looking for hard to get specialty parts I’d definitely recommend doing it here. I live in New Brunswick, and the ETA’s given we’re pretty close. I see a lot of negative reviews on wait time, Anyone should know that certain companies make to order parts and that’s out of the hands of the vendors, Delivery is the same, that’s why it’s an estimate lol. They got me what I needed and I will be back for more. Thanks guys I appreciate the service.

Couldn’t be happier with the quality of service provided. I ordered a bunch of parts for my cbr600rr, and all of them were shipped almost immediately except for the full exhaust system which was on back order through Yoshimura. They offered me a full refund for the exhaust or switching for an alternative slip on exhaust as only Yoshi still makes the full exhaust for my bike model. I opted to wait until however long it took for the global supply chain to catch up to my order, and it took almost 6 months, but the moment I was notified by yoshimura that it had now become available to order directly through them, it had shipped and was here the next day.

Thank you Bayside, I look forward to continuing business and will be putting an order for new brakes and such for the coming season.

Unfortunately, one of the worst customer service experience I've encountered. Had to follow up to get an update on my order just to be informed that if I would like to speed up the delivery, which was outside of their claimed delivery date already, I can pay for their supply shipping - I was really shocked to get this feedback - canceled my order immediately. I hope that this is really just a rare case and that Bayside Performance may reconsider such customer service in future.

Update:
Upon the reply here from the Bayside Performance, I got another email from them saying "We have now banned you from our store for life. " - BP, customer satisfaction is judged by customers not by you saying "we gave you great customer service".

Kevin has a loose relationship with the truth. He approved a return over the phone then when he got it he refused to refund my money OR send me my item back. The return was brand new, perfect, just the wrong size. Very dishonest.

I'm not upset with you Kevin, but I do think you can do better.

I asked for a full service including oil change and booked an appointment. They only changed the oil. When I asked them about the status of brake fluid and condition of vehicle, he said they are busy and didn’t got a chance to take a look and asked me to come next week. I just tried it as it was near my house. I won’t suggest this place for anyone.

I am editing this to add an reply to the comment from Bayside. I booked for service including oil change. If you guys were super busy, you could have told me that you have only time for an oil change, so I could have looked for some other service shops in Vancouver. I am going for a long weekend trip to Seattle. Safety is a concern for me when starting a season with just an oil change. I need to run to another service shop tomorrow for an proper service.

You will never received your parts and they will charge you and say that they have delivered it when it is false, even the tracking number indicates that it has not been delivered, but their employee is not smart enough to read a tracking number, in addition it took 6 months to make a false delivery.

I have ordered a full M4 exhaust system on Tuesday May 24 and received my item on Thursday May26. This guys know what they are doing. I have never seen anything like them before. When other businesses didn't have what I wanted in stock Bayside had it. Yes the delivery took longer than I wanted but we all wants things right away and well we don't live in a perfect world.

The fact the owner answered the phone during the busiest time of the season, explaining to me the staff shortage due to lazy people these days not wanting to work anymore I must say this guy does an amazing job trying to make all customers happy. I wish I lived closer to use your services however living in Toronto I'm stuck at ordering whatever I can off your website.

People have been spoiled with 2-day delivery and might expect that from small business owners. I’ll admit when I read other reviews it had me worried when placing an order. I received my order no problems whatsoever - won’t hesitate to order from Bayside again.

Kevin gave me some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After placing an order on the website I was notified that the part is on backorder and would be weeks before it arrived. When I questioned why the item was listed as I'm stock on the website, Kevin wrote back and said the item was not listed as in stock as I had claimed, and with no apologies or explaiation canceled my order. I went back to the website and clear as day with a big green checkmark, the item is listed as in stock.just like the day I ordered it. I do not appreciate being treated as if I am the liar when I'm the one being lied and have my order discarded in such a careless and cold way. I don't normally write reviews but I had such a negative experience with this company that I was compelled to leave this feedback. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

I ordered a part for my motorcycle and I was told to wait for their call to let me know it had arrived, I waited a week or so and called and was told its not in and that they'd call when it arrived, rinse and repeat another few times over the months to follow, then my dad died out of province and one of our rental houses was trashed by tenants so we moved to where both issues were to clean up the messes until recently. When my family was finally back in BC I called to see what we could do as since Ive had the same phone number and there was never a call or voicemail. I was told that there was a call, and that I shouldve done something sooner against their multiple instructions to wait for their call. Their solution one made aware of the issue was for me was to use another store and that Im out of luck. So so far this company has proven to lie, repeatedly, then when made aware of the issue chose to take 0 responsibility, and blame me for not calling again after repeated times being told to wait for their call. So from my interaction it seems to this company is manned by an ego driven teenager running a business based on poor ethics and 0 accountability, with seemingly no checks and balances. Have fun ordering through them lol 8-S

I have been going to Bayside for more than 7 years now, so it would mean something. I trust what they do to my bike and enjoy the down to earth conversation with Kevin. I would recommend to other riders to go there if they want parts, modifications or services done. They might be pricey but they do know their stuff!

Quand j'ai reçu mon item il manquait une pièce alors j'ai aviser le commerçant et ma répondue que la pièce ne venait pas avec la commande je lui ai pris une photo de son descriptif sur son propre site internet et ma répondue que sont fournisseur changeais parfois les offres mais le vendeur ne met pas c'est item a jour sous prétexte qu'il y a trop de truc a vendre sur leur site et qu'il ne sont que 2 employés donc résultat c'est le consommateur qui paye pour ca en bout de ligne.breff.résultat de tout cela. Fausse information sur leur site de vente ensuite attente par la poste excessivement longue surtout pour une commande a 1000$ temps de réponse du vendeur par courriel très longue donc si vous avez un problème lier avec votre commande et bien armé vous de patience car le vendeur ne vous répondras pas dans un cours délai.plus jamais je vais racheté a cette boutique et j'ai d'autre amis que j'ai convaincue d'acheter ailleurs je leur ai fait sauver une énorme perte de temps

Brought my R6 here to get a general inspection. Got the spark plugs, 1 coil and and oil change done. The coil was back ordered but Kevin told me if I could find one and bring it in, he would pop it in so I can get my bike back earlier. Managed to find one and brought it in the next day. Kevin had my bike done and ready for pick-up by 3pm the same day. Once I started the bike it felt like a completely new beast! This shop is really busy but the quality of work they provide is top notch and professional. I highly reccomend this shop to anyone that needs work done

I have been dealing with Bayside, Kevin (the owner) in particular for over a year now. Bought many things from levers, helmets and other accessories for the bike. They have an awesome selection on their site with comparable prices and Kevin is very knowledge and helpful person. Have they been affected by Covid and lockdowns, of course.who hasn't. But sometimes patience is a virtue and it pays off in the end when dealing with them. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Cyrus

I don’t usually write reviews, but since I couldn’t talk to a manager (apparently the person I was emailing is the owner), I thought it would be a good idea to warn others of the poor customer service at this establishment. I tried calling and emailing many times but I never received a response until I filed a dispute through PayPal. When I finally got a response it was very condescending and unprofessional.

When ordering on their website It never said the item was a “special order” and that they didn’t have it in stock in store. After I made my purchase I received an email saying I would receive my order within 6-9 business days. Honestly, if there was open communication stating that there would be delays due to covid, and that my item wasn’t in stock at the store I would’ve been understanding of the situation.

Thankfully I made my purchase through PayPal and was able to get a refund. Here is one of the condescending emails I received from Kevin - the owner of Bayside.

I am sure they are a great service shop for high performance machines. They downplay their advertising and stemming their reachability for their very desired work i can only assume. They have a phone number which they don't answer incoming calls. They weren't able to help me with my bike because they are specialists in modern bikes of certain makes only. For people like myself, a waste of time. I do wish they would answer their phone.

I've been a customer of Bayside for OVER 10 years. Off and on, new tires, maintenance, gear, you name it. I'm not the biggest spender but if I were to guess it'd be in the multiple thousands.

April 17th
I ordered some parts back in April, waited a few weeks - they didn't come in, understandable. Some of the parts were custom ordered (Pazzo), others he just didn't have in Stock (HID's). No biggie. That being said, life changes - I sold the bike I bought parts for, ended up with a new bike that wasn't compatible.

May 7th
I went in person right away after buying my bike, explained the situation - and at the time, Kevin was more than helpful. Said we'd work on a refund, minus the restocking for the Pazzos, no problem with me. I was keen to do more business with him, but the leathers that I wanted were not in stock (August / September back order he said). He said look on the site, and email me if you find anything otherwise we'll do a refund. Note: He kept my original receipt and credit card slip.

Cool. Looked on the site, nothing I really needed - especially given that my new bike was brand new. I emailed them on May 7th (SAME day as in person) and said sorry there's nothing I want, can we go ahead and process the refund minus whatever fees you need to keep.

May 16th
Emailed Kevin again, as I haven't heard back.

May 24th
Kevin responds: "yes everything was completed. "

I respond: "Thanks, can you please send a confirmation or transaction # for the refund. I haven't seen anything on my statements yet. "

Kevin responds: "How was the order paid"

I respond: "Was paid on my Visa, you kept the original receipt and transaction slip last time I was there (May 7th). "

Kevin: "it was paid in the store? Or online/phone"

Me: "I paid in store by Visa on April 17th and May 7th I came back in person to work out the refund for the remaining items. "

Kevin: "if it was paid in the store we would need original receipt with auth number and insert your card for refund.i will have to look at the paperwork again that is strange. "

Me: "Okay, thanks yeah you kept them when I was there so hopefully they'll turn up. "

June 7th

Me: "Any updates? "

Radio silence. I've made a chargeback at this point, it's been over a month - little to no communication outside of the 24th. I'd like to cancel the chargeback if there was any traction. I get that you're running a "lean" business, but frankly this is ridiculous.

June 9th

Finally, a response from Kevin: "see you have made a charge back. I am sorry you not not able to wait your turn to be helped.

Please never return to our store"

Buddy. Believe me you don't need to tell me to never return to your store, I went and ordered $3000 worth of gear from Daytona, and they had in quicker than your August/September time frame. With prompt emails, great customer service, and none of this BS.

Word of warning: Really really good at taking your money, and frankly - they do good work for service and whatnot. But if there are EVER any issues.good luck.

I'm patiently waiting for his response about how I've never been a customer, or I was rude, or whatever.

I'd like to point out that when I had first ordered my O. Z.wheels I was incredibly nervous as it's a "big" financial purchase with a company I have never dealt with before. Bayside Performance being a Canadian company really helped to ease that anxiety. Throw in COVID shuttering the world and a product that is made to order from Italy. What? That wasn't enough, add the Suez Canal blockade and it makes sense why the product took 14 weeks to finally arrive at my doorstep. The shipping delay was quite disconcerting but the reviews were all accurate as you will not receive any meaningful updates with regards to the timeline but trust that you will receive the product. Honestly, now that I received the product, I don't care how long it took and if I had to do it all over again, I would. Bayside Performance is where I'll be sending my business and anyone else whom is in need of a deal and can afford to wait will also get my recommendation.

I hope this helps to ease others concerns that they felt that they had as I know it did for me.

Thank you for the great service and I look forward to doing business with you again.

I have the same experience as some others website say they have product in stock. But after 2 weeks they still have not shipped product.
Canceled order and ordered from fortnine and had my helmet within a week and free shipping.

Placed an order for some motorcycle boots that were out of stock everywhere else. (Thought I got lucky, so didn’t bother ordering a different pair along with my other gear from the states)

Anyways card was charged. Got an email a couple days later from someone telling me that the boots were not in stock with no estimated restock (no apology or acknowledgment, or grammar, for that matter). I asked for a refund.

I was refunded the amount of the boots, minus an amount that added up to the tax. I inquired with the shop, thinking an honest mistake had happened and they simply forgot to refund the tax. I was then told over the course of a few emails that there was a bank error, that it wasn’t there fault, and that they “don’t pay extra money”.

If this was my fault – if I had ordered the boots and then cancelled the order, sure. But it was not. The boots were listed as in stock when they were not, I won’t have boots in time for my course next weekend, and have a headache.

Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

I accidently ordered the wrong part online so, I gave them a call and they fixed the order up for me.
I was given the wrong stand when I came by to pick it up, I noticed this when I got home later that day.
The stands look so similar, the mix up is completely understandable.
I called them the next day and they solved the issue, no questions asked.
All in all, really solid customer service at the parts counter.

Very professional business.they always respond to emails and have lots of great deals on their site.i purchased a HID kit for my Gsxr and one of the ballast went bad on me, it had a 2 year warranty and i told them what happened and i swapped some stuff around.and they sent me a new one no questions asked.it was probably one of the easiest warranty claims i've ever done.and not to mention it came really quick, i believe i got it in less than a week.so yeah easy to deal with, and great deals.would defiantly recommend and will be dealing with them again for sure.

I was a bit reluctant about ordering from Bayside after reading all the negative reviews. However I took the chance and purchased a speedohealer v4 from them. I called them first to verify they had the product in stock. Spoke to Anne who physically went to check and confirmed they had what I was looking for. I then placed the order online and they had my order packaged and shipped out the same day.

Anne was great to deal with and I very much appreciate her getting this out the same day!

Product arrived a couple days later no issues!

I would use them again in the future for sure!

With this pandemic going on they were able to provide reasonable price and quickly shipped the item to my door and before the delivery date given. If I ordered it through the states it would have taken a long time or not even get it. Great job!

Ordered a very hard to find (in Canada) set of German LSL handlebars through Bayside Performance for my Kawasaki Z900RS. Bayside went above and beyond to locate an importer and have them sent to me. When they arrived, they were the wrong colour; Kevin and Anna at Bayside, at great expense to themselves, took full responsibility for the mistake - even though it was the importer's error - & reordered/procured the right coloured bars for me, had them sent to me at no extra charge, and generously offered me that I keep the unopened originals rather than have to go through the hassle of postage/returns. Thanks for the integrity and honesty, guys: I can't thank you enough. You made it an easy and rewarding experience. I will be back.

Called today about a sprocket needed for a BST rim. Asked Kevin to please go ahead and order he told me it was easier to order online- gave me attitude and continued on about how busy they are and that he will try to call me back 10 days but it was faster online. Then continued to tell me about his surgery and how he's working 16 hour days. The amount of time he spent telling me that he was soooo busy he could have at least told me the part number to order or directed me into the correct brand that's compatible with the BST rims. I own my own motorcycle shop and we are busy as well but the lack of customer service is embarrassing. I have sent hundreds of customers your way as you deal with some brands that i dont and i won't be pushing your name anymore. As for not working on Ktms as per the previous post from a traveller. Its a tire that needs to be balanced they are all basically the same. It seems like a cop out for being busy and not wanting to help a fellow rider out. Had you at least made a suggestion as to a nearby shop etc that would have gone a long way. Just another example of poor service.

Called while on a road trip, needed a simple emergency repair (threw a weight and needed wheel balanced) Keven threw an attitude when I told him what bike I had, apparently he doesn't want to work on ktm. Which is fine. But when I asked him we were no might, being from out of town and on the road he just told me "phone around". Maybe he didn't know but I find it hard to believe a reputable bike shop doesn't know the other shops in the area. He might be good who knows but he blew it on first impression.

Ordered a set of rizoma turn signals on June 6,2020. They told me it would take 3-4 weeks before they could ship. I still went through with the order. I have been emailing them almost weekly after 4 weeks of waiting to get an update and they would always tell me that they still haven't received my orders from Rizoma.

On August 10th, I e-mailed them again saying that riding season is getting close to being over and that I need my order right away. Again, they told me that my order is still incomplete. They told me that they have a set of a different model in stock (which looks okay but not I wanted) and that they can ship them right away if I choose to take them. Instead of waiting for the turn signals that I wanted, I took the ones they have in stock. I called them on Tuesday August 11th right when they opened to tell then that I need my order shipped right away so I will receive them before the weekend as I have a trip on Monday, August 17th, 2020 and I wanted to install them before my trip. The person I spoke with told me that they would ship them that same day. By the end of that day, I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation from them. I called them again and basically said that they FORGOT to ship my order and that they would ship it the day after. It was such a frustrating experience dealing with them.

And now according to Canada Post, I will receive my order on Monday, August 17th, 2020 when I'm away. I'm not really interested in my order anymore because I wanted to install the parts on the bike before my trip.

I really wanted to like Bayside Performance but they're making it difficult for me to do so.

Kevin doesn’t know how to deal with customers. Yelp reviews will tell you more. Kevin, dont be a snake. Nice in beginning when taking money. But oncethere is a problem. Be totally useless and not helpful.
