I did not use their repairs services, but I did call asking if they had SSD screws because the one I ordered on amazon did not come with them. The owner was very nice and gave me a package of SSD screws for free! Very nice folks

I appreciated the honest business they run here. My too expensive to die at 3 years old projector stopped working and I took it to this shop upon getting referred by another friend. Despite projectors not being their forte and my device being past repair, they offered to give it a chance anyway and didn’t even charge me for their efforts. Of course I don’t wish anything of mine breaks anytime soon, but I know exactly where to go if anything ever breaks. This is an honest business I’d recommend to anyone. Everyone I interacted with was super professional and kind.

My laptop has been at their shop for 6 weeks. They either take 5 days to respond to an email or don’t respond at all. I still have no estimate of when this repair will be done, despite them knowing that I am a student and begin final exams this week. For the price they expect me to pay, it would have been more worth it to just buy a new laptop 6 weeks ago. At this point I’m going to pick up my laptop, fixed or not, and demanding a full refund. Never coming back here again.

Amazing service and amazing work. Had my gaming PC break down and they fixed it within the week and got it back to me running and looking better than before it broke.

Service went above and beyond what I was expecting, they fixed a lot of the poor wiring I did as well. Had tried to go to memory express in the past and they just told me they couldn’t fix it and the motherboard wasn’t working, I paid $50 to get told that. BC Computers on the other hand diagnosed my pc then told me how much and what was needed for the repair after it was diagnosed. The level of service is definitely beyond the competition.

If I ever have PC issues again I will definitely return to this store.

I went there for a screen replacement, Firstly, they said, “we will check your laptop tomorrow to see if something else is wrong and we will let you know”, passed a week and they didn’t say anything. So, I started to call and email them to know what the problem was. Finally, after being quite insistent, they answered one of my emails saying that they found an issue with the motherboard and overheating, so it would cost around $950 to fix the screen plus the issues, and it would take 2 weeks plus 2-3 days. Unfortunately, It’s been over a month since I paid the deposit ($550) required by them to start the fix and I have not received any update of my laptop, I can understand if they are busy or something, but I have been emailing, calling, went to the store, and the answer was always the same: "we don't have the last update from the technician yet so please wait and we will let you know". It has become completely frustrating as I work and study with my laptop, but it looks like they just don't care.

One of the worse experiences I’ve had. I don't recommend this store at all.

I brought in my PC tower into BC computers with an issue I could not figure out (the PC was freshly built), and in less than 24 hours they found the issue, fixed it, and returned the PC for a reasonable fee! Great service, attentive response, and respectful environment, I highly recommended them! It made the process of troubleshooting a lot less painful

Super helpful service. They were very kind to give me some free tape for my exposed cable before I head back for full repair.

Max was great! He gives a free consultation to explain what he thinks the problem is and how much it will likely cost. Once I agreed to go ahead with getting my HP laptop fixed, he was very quick with getting it fixed and back to me. He also let me keep the old screen and walked me through everything he was going to do to fix it and how he tested it (because I was interested).
The best part though, as a student with a need for my laptop during and after classes, he was VERY helpful in working around my schedule and being quick and also offered my a loaner laptop which is great. I dropped off my laptop in the morning and he had figured out the problem before my classes started in the afternoon. Then I dropped my laptop off again in the morning when the new part came in and he had it all fixed before my classes started.

Amazing experience. I was struggling to get a stuck screw off the back cover of my laptop as it was preventing me from opening up the device and Mahdi did it efficiently and well. He also cleaned the fans of dust for me! Narges also provided excellent, kind customer service.

Sad to say that my experience with this repair shop wasn't what I had hoped based on some of the reviews here. Recommend doing more research before committing to this business.

I went to BC Computers to get the hinges of my Lenovo Ideapad fixed as those had caused my laptop's screen frame to snap and didn't allow the computer to close. Though the service was quick, I had to return cause they did nothing with the hinge cover - which immediately fell off when I got home. Second time they'd done a mediocre job with gluing the hinge cover (dry glue line seeping out) and I came home to discover they didn't put the battery back in properly - whether this was just sloppiness or some scheme I cannot say. All in all not worth 250 CAD.

Don't come here, all the other stores are upfront with there pricing, here they will change it on you last minute. Installing a graphics card is a very simple procedure, they charge 25 to 50 everywhere else, here they charge me for a computer repair. WHAT? I told them this makes no sense, first they say its because of "extra fast service", I say that I didnt consent to that at all I just asked them if I can come by today and how long it will take. Then they change to say this is the minimum price, well which is it? Again that makes no sense, because I was told a much lower price over the phone. Is this even legal? Honestly I'm not sure, I had to go to work in ten minutes, but I'm looking in to this. Honestly can't say you should trust them with your money if they're willing to do this, there's other locations that are all way more consistent with their pricing, here they just grab what they can. Watch out
Edit: their reply keeps calling it a repair, but it was not, at all, they put a graphics card in, doesn't take 10 minutes. Price was not communicated once I arrived, why would we if we already agreed? I asked them when it will be done they said soon, (because its incredibly easy). Nothing special about this, except their pricing

The staff were helpful, responsive, and kind! They helped to sort out some problems with my MacBook and were very reasonable to work with.

They fixed my computer very quickly, the comunication was great all the time, they are very responsable with the computers that are left in the store, also they have a very organized and profesional archive of custumers, their belongings, and their needs. They are very kind and atentive, I definitely recomend it!

Rahim and everyone are GREAT. My 3 year-old laptop had a couple of problems in the last few weeks. I asked if I should just get a new one and Rahim said that wasn't necessary. He gave me a couple of options, all of which were very reasonable, never tried to upsell me on anything and now it runs better than it has for a long time - ALL at a very, very reasonbable cost. BC Computers ROCKS!

I had a issue with my macbook pro, I went to store and told them the issue and they took my laptop for investigate the problem correctly which is free, It was water damaged and they fixed it perfectly! It was fast and professional! They were respectful and welcoming. I recommend them to all of my friends! If you have any issue with your laptop, phone or any kind of issue, please let them know and they will fix it!

I contacted the store about my issues regarding the touchbar and sleep mode of my laptop and got a quick reply from the shop. They arranged pickup from my location and diagnostic free of charge. The issue turned out to be not only a damaged touchbar but also a damaged top case which took longer to repair, but now I have my laptop back in full working order. Way cheaper than bringing it to Apple who would have charged upwards of $500 while I got it fixed for $350 here.

Great service experience! I had issues with my laptop for It was crashed and water damaged by my cat. Aref provided free diagnostic check and fixed it within a day! After that he even gave me several useful suggestions for I was planning to get a new desktop in the near future. I really appreciate him spending lots of time providing all the information I inquired and assisting me patiently even though they were busy at the time. I’m just happy to support the local business and I’ll definitely go back if I need computer service! Thank you so much!

One day, my computer completely shut off, and it would not turn on. I went to few other repair shops and they gave me negative comments. However when i stopped by at BC Computers, they were able instantly recover my computer files perfectly. They made this situation very smoothly and stress-free. Miracle worker! Aref is a MacMaster! Great diagnostics and very fast service. He was able to get everything back at an incredibly reasonable price. My MacBook Air started acting strange while we were on holiday in Vancouver. We wish he lived near us. Highly recommend.

I’ve had a really bad experience here. Like Everyone else is the biggest issue is their lack of communication they were nice enough to provide me with a loaner but they had absolutely zero communication skills.
And they told me I can pick my laptop they also told me they don’t know if it’s fixed or not.

I never got an update from them I had to keep calling them when I updates and every time I called they eat it doesn’t pick up or they said they can’t connect to the technician so they don’t have an update for me.

And the guy at the store tells me I should be happy with the service I got

BEST SERVICE EVER!

These guys are truly amazing and have been my Hero. Especially, AREF! I was in need of emergent macbook repair and it would have been a week or possibly more If I went to other store but this guys were so efficient and prompt that it was done on the same day!

Second time, about a month after, my keyboard didnt function again. My seemed stopped again, due to how technologies are important these days to function. I sent a one text to Aref and he took his busy time out and squeezed me on the next day and got it all done with so much less cost of the other company which I had inquired before proceeding with this guys.

Time is essence and as a customer, I feel they truly CARE which is rare in this business. HIGLY RECOMMENDED! Not only they understood customer's urgency but also they really stepped up their game in every way. TRULY SATISFIED CUSTOMER in every levels.

BC computers picked up my dead laptop from UBC, gave me a quote, held on to it while I dithered about what to do, and then fixed it when I asked them to. I know there were supply issues with the component needed. It took a couple of weeks to get it back after it was fixed because I wasn’t downtown and they didn’t have a delivery to UBC. Eventually, I went to pick it up. We both forgot that they had the charger and case but eventually they managed to deliver that back to UBC which was helpful. I would use them again, knowing that I might have to wait for it to be convenient to offer delivery to UBC.

Battery change on my laptop. Never had an issue since then. Good quality service. I highly recommend.

I spilled water on my laptop while I was working from a coffee shop and needed to find the nearest repair shop in the neighbourhood so l reached out to BC Computers to see if I can recover my data. They answered promptly and were so friendly and helpful. I dropped my laptop at their shop on Burrard and drake and received both a text and an email with a ticket number and with updates on the work that was being done. I loved how organized they were and kept me in the loop step by step! They were able to recover my data the next day (so fast!) when other shops told me that they had to keep it for 48 hours and " send it in ". They also offer free diagnostics which I thought was really great. II loved how friendly and helpful the customer service is. Highly recommend this shop, they truly are the best of the best in the city! Thank you very much.

I was going to write a novel about my experience but in short this is pretty the tea!

-Story
I was planning on restoring my 10 year old mac. I really like the laptop and I could upgrade it down the line. I needed something for work as well and so I thought. Why not?

I installed the hard drive myself and needed to find a battery. I left the project for a while but conditions led me to meeting the lovely owner (I think) of BC computers.

-Service
I looked at a couple of places online and I found this place. I called and was given a quote of a battery replacement and an OS install. I thought *thats a really good deal* so I went to drop it off the next day with my Girlfriend.
We decided to go to Costco while we waited.we came back 3 hours later to find out that there was something wrong with my computer.
The owner was very quick to diagnose the issue and even stayed a little later to try re-installing the OS and the Hard drive cable! He still honoured his original quote and was such a pleasure to work with.

TL;DR
I was very sceptical with bringing my computer into a store to get serviced. Something hardware related is not too bad for me to fix but when you run into issues that make you lose hope.the Owners at BC computers have your back. Kind, Down to earth, Understanding, and MOST IMPORTANT- KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! I will recommend these guys to my friends and family and I think you guys should give them a shot.

When I heard that there was something wrong with my computer I almost gave up hope. But Im typing on it now and rediscovering the love I once had with it thanks to the guys at BC computers!

I would have been fine to leave it with them for another day but the owner knew what the issue was so he did his absolute best to fix it resulting in me brining it home the same day!

I brought them my computer which was shutting down for no reason. They had a hard time finding the problem because no one understood where the problem was coming from. But they finally found the cause and my computer works like before! The team is very nice, very attentive and they answered all the questions I asked. It's very nice to be able to trust them and leave your computer in their hands. Thank you again for your hard work!

Excellent super-fast service. Got a MacBook battery replaced, it was done in under an hour. All staff are responsive and eager to help. Battery is performing very well.

I spilled a very small amount of water on my laptop and I didn't want to risk damage so I called this place and they let me take my computer in right away (on a holiday) which I appreciate. They cleaned it right away and I had it back in a few hours. I appreciate the quick turnaround because I'm a student and it's finals week so I needed my computer ASAP.
My computer seems to be working perfectly fine.
My only dissatisfaction about this place is that I cannot talk to technician directly. I communicated with their manager over phone, who was not in the shop. The were two men in the shop and one appeared to be the tech and didn't speak much English and the other man did speak English but wouldn't answer any questions. He kept saying "I don't know I'm not the technician. " He was just in charge of payments and having me sign documents saying that I agree to the service etc.
So I had to keep talking to this person on the phone who was not the technician who worked on my machine. So it doesn't feel very transparent in that way since I'm talking to this middle man who isn't there I would prefer to talk to the technician himself throughout the process but my device is working and it was quick.

I paid $59 for the cleaning and then $95 for them to "fix Windows". They said it was in a boot loop after they cleaned it (?) (At first the tech said he updated the BIOS but I checked, and it wasn't so I'm not sure what he did exactly) Anyways, it's working now so that's what's important.

Went here to get a replacement power adapter. He helped me find it and even looked up my laptop model on the computer to ensure the plug is the right one!

This is very disappointing to witness three different people facing fraud by the Afghani owner and the Iranian staff of this computer repair shop.

The store is so unorganized, no BC Business License is framed on any of its walls, and all the four people who work at this shop lack real IT knowledge.

I love doing business with these guys. I Had a great experience with Arkan. He fixed my Alienware gaming laptop with a board issue at a very reasonable cost and quick turn around. Highly recommended.

I have mixed feelings about this company.

For one thing, they promise to run the diagnostics in 24 hours, which sounds great. However, they are not capable of doing that, and they fail to let you know. Same with the repair - they promise your PC will be ready in 24 hours, but it is still not ready in two days, lack of communication again. You have to call to find out what's going on.

I'm sure everybody understands it is essential to communicate and be transparent about the lead times as we use our computers/laptops every day for work or school. We need to be able to plan appropriately.

When my PC was finally ready, they gave it back without my charger. The person at the store couldn't find it, so he claimed that the owner took it home as he has the same laptop (which, what a surprise, turned out to be a lie). Please, at least have the decency to be transparent with your clients; they're not stupid.

A different person could locate the charger the following day, so I had to come back for it. I was lucky as I live 10 mins from the store, what about people travelling from far though?

The whole experience was frustrating overall, but my problem seems to be fixed, thus the 2 stars.

I fixed my MacBook it was a liquid damage And they fixed it in 1 day. I highly recommend BC computes and aref is the best.

My experience at BC Computing was extremely negative.

When I first dropped off my computer, the man behind the desk proceeded to hit on me, commenting on my eyes and calling me "sweetheart. " I felt very uncomfortable.

Then, the first communication I received about my computer was four days later, via text. The technician sent me an expensive quote with no explanation as to what was being fixed. I asked him to come in to the store to talk me through the repairs / help me understand, and he agreed to do so. At the agreed upon time, he did not show up and so my time was wasted. The man behind the desk (after hitting on me again) got the technician on the phone, who was somewhat apologetic for forgetting. He promised my device would be ready the following day.

The next day went by and I did not hear anything, but decided to be patient. Then, when I didn't hear anything for another 24 hours, I phoned. It was only then that the technician was responsive and told me he was working on it.

In the end, it took BC Computing almost two weeks to have my laptop ready. When I went in and explained my frustration, the technician refused to give me a discount and was extremely defensive about everything that had transpired. I left feeling very deflated and told them I would never be back.

I hope this review will also discourage others from similar disappointment!

Great service which is truly focused on the client. They make you diagnostics for free and then may suggest different options and prices to fix your laptop. Also it's a place where a Christmas miracle can happen

Absolutely recommend, they fixed a faulty usb I received for my Bluetooth keyboard& mouse. Work good as new! Most places declined to try but they worked their magic

I've been to BC Computers for a few of my Macbook repairs. They've been able to assist/troubleshoot for me each time. The most latest repair service I received was quite lengthy and complicated, but it was executed with professionalism, patience, understanding and clear communication.

Don't know about their service, but they were very helpful when I was doing my own repair. Needed a screw (and didn't want to buy a set of 100 when I only needed 1). They just gave me a screw for free. Very nice guys.

I can't say enough about the service that Arkan at BC Computers provided me - it rates 10 stars.

I has a 4 year old Lenovo 51s that wouldn't power up despite many attempts by Techs at other shops and myself - we all concluded that it was a motherboard issue, and no shop was willing to work on it beyond the diagnosis and the replacement cost of the motherboard was very high.

Enter Arkan: After patiently eliminating possible motherboard issues over a 3-week period, he offered to provide brain surgery on the motherboard and managed to resuscitate it by desoldering (removing) the BIOS chip, reflashing it with an EPROM, and resoldering the chip back on the motherboard - very delicate work and exacting work.

Cut to the chase, and the Laptop fired up and is running perfectly. Bravo Arkan!
