We had an excellent experience, from start to finish, working with Lawrence Gutierrez (Project Manager) and BC Floors. Lawrence provided much needed information, clearly and respectfully, on all aspects of our flooring project. He was always attentive, timely, factual and considerate of my budget. We couldn't be more pleased with the floors that were installed, the installers Juan and JhoeMar who did the work, and the speed with which the project was completed. In these days of poor customer service, staff shortages and shabby workmanship, Lawrence and BC Floors stand out as exceptional.

Sometimes, finding a good contractor to do your flooring, especially in today's supply chain constricted world can be a difficult thing. So finding a contractor, that also supplies the product was an amazing discovery.

When I first contacted the company, I was introduced to their account manager, Keit, and I have to say that Keit went beyond the scope of her work to ensure that as a customer, everything was laid out in a transparent and clear manner. She replied to all my inquiries in a professional and knowledgeable way.

It was also very convenient that BC floors acted as a one stop shop, that had almost every type of flooring you can think of. I found their prices to be very competitive, and for the quality and speed of the work done, you are getting your money's worth.

I would certainly recommend BC flooring in the future, and if your lucky enough to get Keit as your account manager, it will make the whole renovation/new build process much more seamless.

I have a small job on floor tile replacement. Contacted them and they came over for estimates which was a certain amount. Then, I contacted them again saying I want to go ahead with the work and ask for a final estimate. That guy said he will give it to me next day which he never did. Then I contacted him again, he texted me the labour cost which was 500 dollars more than what he told me. I asked perhaps there's a mistake? He never replied.

We recently had our entire third floor and main floor (including two sets of winding stairs) re-done by BC Floors. Keit was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The team of installers were fantastic and very friendly. Our new floors look fantastic. I am very happy with the results and the quote I was given for the job was pretty much right on. Small job changing carpeted rooms to floorboards. Prompt reply with email and phone. Rocked up to find out the guy I had been in contact with is the only one guy does the estimates and that he wasn’t in the store. Apparently it’s by appointment only. Was told to come anytime. Up selling by the lady who was there with nonchalant attitude. No thanks.

We had BC Floors replace the tile floor in our apartment kitchen, and the carpet in the bedroom. They also sanded and refinished the oak floors in the hallway and living room. Everything was done as described, on time, and for a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend them.

We had our cork floors refinished by BC Floors and are very happy with the result. Keit and her team of Emerson and Caloy were very professional throughout the entire experience. They were always prompt for our agreed upon times and polite and respectful to my wife and I. They put on extra layers of polyurethane when it became apparent that it was needed and kept us apprised of the progress of the work. They have very high standards. Finally, they helped us move our furniture back once the floor had completely cured which was greatly appreciated. We would recommend BC Floors to anyone for similar work.

Contacted BC floors for a quote to change older tile floors and Keit came to our home to show us multiple samples, take measurements, and provide a detailed quote for the work of removing the existing tile, leveling the floor, and installing a new floor. Keit did an outstanding job of explaining everything involved with our choice of cork floors. The job was started within a week and the installer, Emerson, was fast, meticulous and we were extremely pleased with the look of the completed floor. Superb job!

We had BC Floors replace the carpet on our stairs with laminate and risers. They did a wonderful job on the work, were very considerate and cheerful while doing the work, and left our house in garage (where they did most of the cutting) nearly as clean as when they arrived. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for this service.

I wanted to replace my wall to wall carpet in a 2 bedroom fully furnished Vancouver condo. Although not recommended and quite difficult to do the team at BC Floors pulled together and advised me how to make it happen.
From the moment I met Keit, the company rep and project manager I knew I was in good hands. Also the installers Bijon and Korish were obvious trade professionals and the best in the business. The floor job looked totally amazing in the end. I would highly recommend this company and they have experience in condo's and strata rules

Pretty simple. BC Floors said they would call me back after taking my information. They never did. Not a very good impression and appears to be standard practice for "busy" businesses, particularly during the pandemic. Maybe my expectations are too high, but if you say you're going to do something - then one should follow through. Consumers who spend their hard earned money deserve more, especially these days.

We paid over $5,000 to have our hardwood floors sanded and 3 coats of Bona Traffic HD applied which was supposed to help protect our floor from scratches from our dogs. 14 months later, the floor is horribly scratched already. It has also changed colors under a kitchen carpet.
I emailed the company advising them of the challenges we have had together with pictures, and they said that the warranty had expired after one year. I let them know that we had delayed coming to them as I wanted to wait until a lengthy renovation was completed. I tried making the case that the damage that was evident in the pictures had obviously developed over the past 14 months instead of over the last two months. I suspect they only applied one coat of protection instead of the three. Unfortunately, no subsequent response from the company. I sent another email asking that this be escalated to a manager. Again no response. Very very disappointed.

I recently purchased some vinyl plank flooring for a small home renovation from BC Floors. Sophie and Nikita provided excellent customer service when was looking for vinyl plank flooring. I was able to find the right flooring that met my needs and budget at BC Floors. Even though I did not have my floors installed by them, they promptly answered any questions (email or tel) I had about installation and other queries.

As a professional floor layer with verified 25yrs in the business, I have noticed how demanding customers can indeed be with unrealistic expectations. BC Floors has an exceptional reputation dating back approx 20 yrs, for which I have installed for them the last 1.5 yrs. I have run the gauntlet of numerous shops in the lower mainland with a much less professional appeal as opposed to BC Floors, who are very business minded. Customers that compose mean spirited reviews instead of being grown up enough as an adult to avoid appearing vindictive, childish, infantile and just plain dishonest simply because they are paying?

This type of demeanour and or deceptive mentality, was not so prevalent back in the early 1980s, when customers were much more "Civil & Understanding".

Kiran was an amazing person to deal with from day 1. She was very helpful, resourceful and very accommodating with all our requests. We are very happy with her services. Kiran helped us a lot and everything went very smoothly.
The installer that we got his name is Able. He is absolutely the best. So professional, so knowledgeable and truly pro at what his does. Could not ask for better one. He is amazing! Job was done in 3 days as planned with no issues. Now we really hope that no issues will arise with the floor after the install after a few months or years. But everything looks good so far. We really enjoying our newly installed floor.

Had my condo floors replaced by BC Floors last month & was very happy with their service, quality & professionalism. Eric was very knowledgeable and helped me chose the right product in the colour I was looking for; was always quick to respond & keep me updated as to the status of my project; and made every effort to arrange for a quick install to happen when it was the most convenient. The installer Idris was also very professional and accomodating. Both were very detail oriented & great to deal with. Would highly recommend!

I've got nothing but good things to say about my experience at BC FLOORS. I'm a contractor and needed flooring kind of last minute. I've dealt with Mansur at the store and all I can say is that I received the best service I've gotten in a long time, period. Not only did he manage to get all my nosings and trims done in a week instead of waiting 3 weeks, but he also picked it up himself from Richmond and brought it to the Burnaby location so it was more convenient for me. He also answered all my questions, phone calls and I don't know how many texts we exchanged off business hours, on the weekend etc. I'm taking 5 minutes today to write this review because I feel he went above and beyond and that needs to be told.

Top notch customer service from Claudio, arrived on time and did an awesome job refinishing my wood floors. I definitely would recommend him. Thank you again.

Would not recommend, the working experience of the project manager is the main factor. They do not have enough understanding of running projects and communicating with the client. They over promised and definitanly under delivered.

Just got services completely finished today.
Overall they were good and professional and I am happy with the final result.
Of course, if you don't mind waiting for almost 3 months.
I cannot even get my stairs done during on moving date, the installer came before Good Friday then told me that they were in short of a key material.
The final invoice amount is much more higher than sales agreement, our sales agreement was $12,213.9 but I got charged $13,589.4 ($1,375.50 extra charge)
You won't be able to match the description on invoice and sales agreement, they look like two different cases.
If you don't have any other choices, like myself, then yes go ahead with them.

We recently updated our condo with new carpeting and tile flooring from BC Floors. Walter was very helpful and gave good advice on helping us choose the appropriate products, was available for questions that came up and made sure we were happy with the installation. It looks great! Thanks Walter.

After leaving my information on bc floors website asking to be contacted regarding installing a flash cove vinyl floor, I received a call from Kyle from B. C floors on dec 3.
Kyle said the floor would be priced based off minimum charges and I would be looking at about $1100 for a 12’x6’ room, this price seemed a little low for me, but I understand how it usually goes Little extra charge here and a little extra there, so I was prepared for the price to clime to probably double.
I sent Kyle to pictures of the flooring on dec 4, we were trying to get something similar in coulour, but not to fussy because it was a totally separate room.
Kyle said no problems he has something close in stock and install can happen in a week, so I confirmed I would like to go ahead.
Dec 11 I try confirm installation, Kyle can’t find the estimate, I informed him that he had not sent one but he had given a verbal price, at this point Kyle said install would be about another week away and the cost would be now $2200. I informed him again of his previous price and the fact now we had removed the old floor and had preped for install, all that was needed was installation, could it be done for $1500 given I had given the price to the client base of Kyle’s estimate.
Kyle agreed he could make that work.
Dec 17 I contact Kyle again about installation, Kyle says he is waiting for confirmation for Friday (dec 21)
I said if that’s the best you can do, please make it happen this is a commercial washroom and I really need to get this finished ASAP.
Dec 18 Kyle sends me a blurry picture of a roll of flooring and says he thinks this is a perfect replacement, I asked if I could have another picture that wasn’t blurry or could I pick up a sample.
Kyle says he is not in the office and can’t get another picture of the flooring, but he has an installer ready to install tomorrow (dec 19) I said that’s perfect thank you, all I need is a clear picture or sample, because the picture sent was blurry and I can’t make a decision based of that picture I said Friday the 21 works fine for me for installation.
Dec 19 I ask again for a clear picture only to be informed by Kyle that unfortunately that flooring is not as available as I thought.
At this point I said to Kyle I feel your just stringing me along, we are not further ahead than day 1 dec 3.

Kyle from bc floors has not responded back to me to this day.

I had the worst of luck with this company. I don’t blame them with any malice. I think they’ve been professional, but that doesn’t change the fact my experience was.bad. I was asking them to renovate a carpet on behalf of a client in Burnaby (this was for an apartment with 2 small bedrooms) and I had a good first impressions. The salesman was friendly, I liked their carpet selection and I do like the job their installer did and the final result. To be clear, this company does good work. The carpet itself is beautiful. So I don’t think they are normally incompetent like this.

However, the salesman I had.well I think he was a fine guy and he had good carpet recommendations. The issue was he messed up. First of all, he forgot to account the long weekend messing up carpet deliveries which pushed the project back. That.was okay since he let me know ASAP and got the carpet to the installer. So I’ve forgiven him for that.

The main reason for my poor review is the fact he grossly miscalculated the amount of carpet needed. He gave us a quote for 2000 cad which was around what the other companies in the area offered.

However, we needed 54 yards, he estimated 34. This meant that the project needed an additional 1170 Canadian, bringing up the project to 3170 cad. The company did give me a discount of 170 dollars, which was appreciated, but this sudden extra 1000 dollar cost is not welcome. I understand the company’s position, but this was a hell of a mistake. We honestly would not have chosen this company if the actual quote was presented upfront. Furthermore, we chose them with the understanding that two bedrooms would be completed.not one.

Edit: After re-measuring and re-reading the original contract I realized that while there was an opportunity for me to actually catch the mistake. However, the fact that a professional and who came and measured the apartment and yet messed the estimate up that badly is still outrageous, and it doesn’t change the fact that the initial quote was completely off by more than 50% of the cost. ADDITIONALLY, the contract says 2 bedrooms. The fact that they messed up how much carpet to order should not be up to me, but on the company representative who ordered the carpet and made the contract with the understanding that that amount of carpet was enough.

However, I also realized that he contract itself had one huge issue in which it isn't actually clear about how much carpet was supposed to be installed. It listed a number of "yards" of carpet, which I originally thought referred to length of the roll. The issue is. "yards" to this company means "yards squared". Which.is.just not clear.

Friendly helpful and accommodating. Prices and selection were very competitive. Installed luxury vinyl plank. Interaction with staff in office and on site was good but project did take about 3 times longer than quoted. There was more leveling work than anticipated which added understandable time but there were delays due to running out of materials and conflicting schedules with other projects. They did confirm my painters could come paint mounted baseboards one day but painters had to go home when they showing up and baseboards had not been mounted as promised. Was also promised exact material match on stair noses but was told on day of install that it would be best match similar material. It looks great but misleading promise on sales floor. Translucent silicone used on edges of half the stairs and white caulk use on there half because they ran out of materials which looks strange now. Some risers have scuffs and glue marks. Also last minute changes from vinyl transition to metal transitions for technical reasons on slope of transition which should have been identified in two site visits before project started. They worked to rectify issue and supplied extra transitions so we can change them on our own in the future. Had a hard time getting all baseboards remounted as agreed and ended up remounting some on my own to save time on project and not have to keep asking. Had to point out several corrective action where material did not hide properly under baseboards, stairs etc. These were corrected quickly but ended up leaving some because I got tired of pointing them out and having to schedule site visits. Told me they would screw down plywood floors in areas that had squeaking but this not done. Quite a bit of scuffs on jewly painted walls and resedue of leveling compound on some walls which I had to scrape off. I am very conflicted in this review because they did try there best to fix things but it seems like lots of the things should have just been done right the first time. We are happy with the floors and would have given a higher rating if we didn't have to go through the little stresses along the way. It may have just been a bad month but I would have a hard time referring them to friends and family after our experience. Bitter sweet unfortunately.

I own 65 years old house with original fir hardwood installed from the 1940s. I was looking to replace my old well scratched and damaged floors with new modern hardwood or laminate. BC Floor estimator convinced me to keep them and go with hardwood floor refinishing option.

It took almost 3 weeks to redo my floors but it was worth it. During sanding process, we found some loose planks and stairs' steps. Stair was basically rebuilt. After that, we applied a greyish stain. The final result is amazing! Looks very clean and modern. Some wood dust left on the ceiling, but I was informed about
