BC Liquor Stores Park Royal

One of the most complete and special liquor stores in Vancouver, which sometimes has good offers, the interesting thing is that they do not have the Turkish liquor Raki, which is very popular among Iranians and Turks. Of course, there are some things that you may not have thought about at all.

This store has a great selection and very helpful staff. Easy to find what you need and several cashiers to get you on your way fast. Parking can be an issue outdoors but plenty of parking in parkade.

There is a super vast store. I was going to buy something for my friend and a Persian girl who work there helped me a lot. She made this store my favorite one. She is so knowledgeable and friendly. I like to listen to her advice. ️️️

Possibly the best branch among the ones in lower mainland. Nice staff, good product arrangement and presentation and decent collection.

A larger BC liquor store. Shopping carts are solid as well. Would recommend staying calm inside and not buying too much be safe kids.

I found Georgian wines there, that I couldn't find anywhere else! The shop is huge and the choice is amazing

Dehumanized staff, lacking any sense of compassion. Security and store manager kicked me out today, Dec 5,2021 for wearing a face shield instead of a mask, although I explained them that I have a medical condition and carry a mask exception. Will put a complain with BC Human Rights commissioner and never ever be back to buy from there. To be avoided. Bleah.

Probably one of the biggest store in Vancouver with many selections of wine, spirits and beer from around the world.

Huge selection. Open and lots of room to stay away from others. Excellent Covid precautions. Cold area is great for chilled drinks. I saw an Event Room which peaked my curiosity. Friendly staff, and security guards.

This store in on the north side of Park Royal.
It is a very large and modern store with a wider selection of beverages than many other stores.
It had a wide selection of sake bottles including some sparkling sakes and a selection of special Chinese liqueurs.
The staff is very helpful and their help desk is staffed with knowledgeable employees who can provide sound advice.

It's really good and huge place.
If you need any liquor, you gonna find there.
Also the employee very friendly.

I would give zero star if I could.
I was only accompanying my Japanese friend while she was shopping.
They asked us to show ID, whereas other customers were not asked for it.
When I explained, “My friend is the only one shopping and her ID should be enough” I was literally kicked out of the store in a very rude and condescending manner.

I don’t know what distinguished other customers from us, but considering other reviews, it looks like it was our race.

This is the biggest liquor store in BC. There are so many wine to choose from around the world. Also a good selection of local BC wines. The beer section located at the back of the store has both chilled and non chilled beers. Again domestic and international beers are available. There are also some alcohol free beers. Spirits located near the entrance of the store have a good selections of Gins, Vodkas and other spirits.
Service is friendly and the staff are knowledgeable. In non Covid times there are tastings. Parking at Park Royal North can be challenging at times.

I myself is very much proud to have such a luxurious liquor store in my town, however, as a customer, you feel more being watched than being helped, apparently, staff are not happy with their job, and security guys should have got hired for a far downtown second-hand staff sales shop, I am not sure how or what the owner's bad experience has been; very disappointing, but still hope this situation gets fixed and keep our valuable business environment maintained.

This is a great liquor to shop with huge stocks of your favorite items to tantalize your taste buds. I had to from Burnaby to Park Royal to get my favorite Scottish beer which is Innis and Gunn. I like the Original, Lager, and the Irish Whiskey barrel stout, and the Red Sky. These are all great tasting not heavy carbonated beers, so give them all a try dont forget to get another of your favorite items!

This is pretty much the largest BCLS I've been to. Wondering if this one is bigger than the Cambie store.

I always have such an awesome experience coming into this store that seems to have the largest selection of craft beers out of any BCL locations I've been to, even Signature ones. I've always been a craft beer drinker forever, and have a real affinity for seeking out the most unique and unordinary beers out there.

What has made it a lasting experience was meeting Sebastian, who handles Ops Management/ordering of all the craft beers year round. I always enjoyed talking to such a beer passionate person. He'll always give recommendations and enjoys talking about all the beers that he orders in.

The best thing about craft beer is how they change seasonally, year round. Back in October, the very appropriate "Pumpkin Spice Latte Ale" was probably the highlight for me of the October beers he ordered. Then around Christmas, I was there often trying to pick up all the seasonal Christmas beers. "Nanaimo Bar Porter" (yes, it was actually called that!), Cranberry Ale, "Sleigh Booster IPA" are just a few to name.

Good luck trying to find such unique/commodity beers anywhere else out there, even less likely in pubs or restaurants.

Part of a memorable shopping experience to me is returning to see constantly changing product. Looking forward to seeing what to pick up next!

Went to buy a last minute gift for a wine connoisseur, I know minimal about fine wine. The lady who helped me was great (Mogjan)! Knowledgeable and friendly, she took the time to explain different brands, even thought it was super busy. Great service and the best collection I have seen. I live in North Vancouver but decided to come back there for shopping as a regular customer.

Because they would not selll me a bottle of cointreau when they had a dozen. Some excuse that the 12 bottles were reserved for restuarants.

An awesome store and from what I understand it is the flagship retail store in province of British Columbia and is clearly the largest.

Their annual and seasonal events offer vast selections of virtually every corner of the planet.

Their tastings bar allows you to improve your palette whilst ensuring what you are buying pairs well with what you have planned for dinner.

The sommelier is definately on his game and loves a challenge chasing down our desire for exotic wines, and spirits.

Free wine tasting! Great service. Needed some help finding something, they were right on it and help with suggestions.

Need a $20,000 bottle wine? Obviously some money laundering folk in west van do. This location does otherwise have an epic selection of hard to find premium liquor.

Great Selection of wine spirits and beers. Good assortment of product in Cold Zone. (refrigerated products). Loads of parking and easy access to store.

My favorite BCLS location. Huge selection of everything pretty much, cold beer section AND free wine tastings!

Great selection and good service. If you are looking for a specific grape or a specific taste, just ask the associates. They are more than willing to help you find what you have in mind.

Instead of going to a supermarket spending on all unessential goods. This store is the best for a six pack.

Staff has always been friendly and helpful. If they don't have what I'm looking for they check other locations and bring it in for me.

Nice stores, but government-owned, and completely overpriced relative to other Provinces and States, about 50% higher for the same quality of liquor.

This is a new large store that looks like it would have a large selection. The selection is not that great. The people working here are not that friendly. On a recent visit 16th November to buy a bottle of wine, the people working here did not like me doing research on my phone. All I was doing was looking up a wine on the internet. Employee asked if I need help, I said no. He walked away then another employee came, maybe it was a manager, not sure. They kept harassing me. I was a customer and they made me feel un- welcome here. I gave up trying to buy a wine and walked out and went to their competition. This happens because this is a government owned store and the government don't care about customer service.

Easily the largest store in the area (that I am aware of) and their selection is impressive. A few tasting areas for those who wish to pay for a sample before buying a new pricey bottle. Myself, I don't make many single purchases over $15 from their extensive microbrewed selection so I think I am ok to *risk* it from time to time.

BRAND NEW. I MUST SAY. When I need to fill my Cellar this is where I will head next time.such a selection.
