BCAA

I went to renew my auto insurance here and chose BCAA as my secondary insurance. I went there to do it but there was such a lineup I had to make an appointment and come back another day.
I came back to my appointment and the paperwork took a little longer than normal but I expected that because I was going to use BCAA insurance.
After I left I started receiving emails to electronically sign documents. I wasn't expecting this as I had signed documents at the BCAA office.
The electronic documents that were emailed to me had incorrect information and so I replied back asking it to be corrected so that I could sign it.
I did this three times over 3 days.
Finally I got a customer survey email asking how they did. My response was that this was a very gross experience.
Finally I got a call saying the documents was going to be corrected and would be sent out after the weekend.
I was going to save $100 in my annual policy which is over $2,000.
I believe when they call me on Monday I'm just going to back out of the BCAA insurance and go back to just ICBC.
I was disappointed that BCAA could be more bureaucratic than ICBC. Unfortunately, it is not what I expected from BCAA.

I have extra protection for my car with BCAA & there are perks. Less $ for gas at Shell.

They were polite, they took me way earlier from my appointment, but the renewal it took more than 1hrs. Unbelievable it was just a renewal. Again, it is a very friendly and polite environment, BUT more than 1 hour for renewal and after all the waiting They weren't able to finish the paperwork, then they will call me during the week in order to come back to sign off. More than 1 hrs and not even finished the renewal.

I have been this office for 7 years, and I got a very positive experiences every time I visit from the front desk and the sales representatives.

Friendly staff at the store, however corporate have some slightly misleading advertising, insurance savings are mostly on their products, don't expect much change on basic car insurance.

Even though I haven't been a member (until today), I have consistently been treated really well here. The staff take time to listen to my needs and bring up critical questions, always helping me to save money without neglecting my coverage.

They have really quick service and they responded quickly to my phone call. Front desk girl was wonderful and helped us complete the work. Nice seating area and well maintained.

I had amazing experience. Maggie is the employee in the office. You should go directly to her. Super professional and nice.

Aman Ruprell was super helpful and professional. He very knowledgeable about the all the different policies, especially that I am an Uber driver so it can get complicated. Aman was patient and explained this to me very clearly. Thanks Aman and BCAA

Anam Rupell was such a great help today with my car insurance and navigating some difficult elements of the changes that ICBC has made this past year. He was able to answer questions that none of the representatives from ICBC and my auto broker had been able to. Would absolutely recommend!

Aman, helped my cousin who was a first time car owner, he was patient and took the time to explain all of the options and helped her find the best plan in her budget. Would Highly recommended, thoroughly impressed.

I've never had a bad experience at a BCAA before, buying home and car insurance, but the lady I got at this location was one of the worst customer service reps I had ever encountered. I forgot to ask for her name but she sits in the back left corner of the office. The new ICBC rules are confusing many people and we were not sure of how it would affect our insurance. This lady was very snappy and not helpful. We were asking for information about our renewal and she was not responding to us, being rude, clearly acting like she's doing us a huge favour taking our business to her. Never going back to this location again.

I went in to renew my travel insurance, the lady at the front check in desk was on the phone, as I overheard her standing right in-front of her waiting to tell her what I was there for, she was speaking about her broken shoes or something personal she had dropped off somewhere for repair, it was clear this was not a BCAA or work related phone call, in-fact a personal phone call. As I stood there waiting, she then looked up, she stopped her phone call, beaked her eyes open at me and said "Hi? Can I help you? " in the most derogatory tone/attitude I have ever been spoken to by someone in a place of business. She then told me to sit down and wait for someone, continued her personal phone call saying "sorry about that" to the other person on the line as if I had done some type of injustice or had the audacity to interrupt her personal phone call she was making at the front desk. Why I then proceeded to spend any amount of money there on their services I dont know why, the lady that actually did renew my travel insurance wasn't the most chipper either. Absolutely pathetic behavior for someone at a front desk greeting people as they walk in the door. Most likely won't be going back here.

One representative gave me wrong information. I complain that to reception. She agreed but didn’t say sorry. I feel they are rude.

I've never had a bad experience with BCAA. They're always polite, enthusiastic, and professional. Their services are top notch and their attention to detail unrivaled. Their optional insurance is cheaper than ICBC though they only insure good drivers (please keep it that way).

BCAA is very disappointing, I had my house insurance through them i was late with a few payments. They banned me from getting insurance from them, I have no house insurance. Don't know what to do, I have been with them since 2002. That's how much they have respect for their members they'll throw you out like yesterdays news paper.

Excellent service by assistant manager, gave me best advise about buying car insurance.very informative, i would highly recommend this place.great people, great customer service.
