Just wanted to send a shout out to Lilla Gulyas at BCAA Coquitlam. My husband and I went in to renew our house insurance today and we had a really great experience. Lilla was very knowledgeable and she answered all of our questions clearly and thoroughly. Also, she was able to help us save money by noticing on our policy that our house was actually a split level instead of a 2-storey house. I’m very glad that BCAA has people like Lilla who pay careful attention to detail.

I needed an International Driver’s Licence for our upcoming European trip and Alia was more than happy to help me. Her outstanding service was delivered with a smile and I had the licence in my hand within a few minutes after stepping in. I cannot recommend this place enough!

After having had home insurance on one or more properties at a time for over 14 years using them for car insurance and having a membership I walked in and asked SUE at the counter if I could make an appointment as I needed to renew my car insurance renew my place and take insurance on a new property by the 18 of may it was may 10 and she said they have no appointments available until the 19th. I am sure many other insurance companies will be happy to help me! I expected much better from BCAA they are certainly not the cheapest insurance out there but I thought they would treat members better I can’t imagine how they would treat me if I had a claim when they won’t even help me get another property insured on time VERY POOR SERVICE

Had to book the appointment (car insurance) but once there only waited a few minutes. Service was professional and efficient as usual.

Walked in for a travel insurance and got it withing half an hour. The lady named Elena was so helpful, gave us all the details and advised us as per our situation, not intending to make a bigger insurance and get a bigger commission. I like it when an agent advises as per customer's interests not per their own. Highly recommend her.

A great experience from the moment I walked to the moment I left. A warm welcome, a clean waiting area, a friendly, professional and knowledgeable Representative who helped me, and very efficient process overall. 5 stars well deserved!

Office was empty, no customer, receptionist refused to have us. She said I must make appointment. But office was totally empty. Agents were not having customers at all, they were chit chat with each other. I was going to buy 4 new policy (TICs, extended insurance and car insurance). So went to other brokerage.

Had too book an appointment a day in advance, they're quite strict with their covid-19 here. I had to wait outside until I was let in, staff was friendly, bathroom was very clean! I got roadside assistance for 2021 was quick I was in and out in 10 minutes.

Bought my home insurance from here (over the phone). They have pretty long waits over the phone, however after a few minutes of being on hold I got a prompt to request a call-back which was nice. Great service each time I called

Saved a butt load of money on home insurance, and optional coverage for my car. Totally worth it to become a member. Discounts with partners, one of whom is Scandinave Spa.

It is a pleasure doing business with BCAA. We have processed auto glass claims and residential claims for BCAA. Super professional, friendly staff and on time payment! All my Auto Glass customers seem very happy dealing with BCAA and are all getting much better rates than what ICBC is offering for collision and comprehensive. I highly recommend BCAA for car and home insurance.

The web page says restricted service, it doesn't say that I cannot get service without an appointment. I went there after discovering I needed to reactivate my insurance as I needed my truck on the upcoming weekend. I was informed that I can only do that over the webpage or book an appointment for next Thursday! I tried to explain that I needed the truck on Sunday, whereupon I was told to seek my insurance over the phone. This still won't allow me to receive my plates and sticker prior to me utilizing my vehicle.
To note was the facility was empty with several employees engaged in conversation with each other. Very unimpressed with the lack of customer service.

Like dealing with a local BritishColumbia insurer. Never had to make a claim however. Switched to them cause my original insurer just got lost, saying I was fully covered when I was not. No claim but their credability suffered. Experience so far after 10 years good enough. Enjoy the membership discounts. Pays for my membership dues every year. Good customer service. Fast & friendly.

Just walked in one day looking to apply for roadside assistance and it was very easy, they booked me in at the front desk and almost instantly after I was called in to speak with an advisor and she was super friendly and helpful. Set me up with a membership right away and let me know of all the benefits. Superb way to run business, location should be used as an example of exceptional customer service, thank-you!

Mediocre customer service. Long wait and receptionist has poor common sense. Contradictory information. The optional car insurance service when you need it is just terrible.

Always professional with top notch service. They were a real godsend when my car was vandalized and subsequently written off. BCAA were great very step of the way.

I have always enjoyed good service here but my encounter today with a service advisor by the name of Vanessa Vis was the most frustrating if not the worst in my almost 10 years of dealing with and visiting the office. Vanessa doesn’t listen carefully nor give clear information. She is bureaucratic to say the least. I was explaining to her that my husband who is overseas wanted me to cancel the car insurance for our son who is away for 2 yrs. She wanted evidence of that which I provided. Then she said it cannot be done since he doesn’t have another car under his name. When I explained again that he won’t be back for 2 years, she said my husband has to come in personally. I told her he can’t as he is overseas, and she said he can call her directly, offering me her business card. I offered to dial my phone on the spot so he can instruct her and she then said no. He now needs to write her an email instead. I texted my husband while waiting in the general waiting area (he is 15 hrs ahead of us) n he wrote her an email stating the same request on the spot. Vanessa then said he needs to send a letter with his signature and an email will not work! I told her he doesn’t have access to print a letter, sign it and scan it and email her but she said that’s the only way. Very disappointed with her service. This is one of my rare off days to run errands and I still didn’t get it done.
