BCAA Auto Service Centre

BCAA is my go to place for vehicle maintenance. They deliver what they promise, on time, without pressure to have unnecessary work done.

Far superior to the dealership experience, I can be in and out in an hour for routine tire swaps and oil changes. Online booking is a plus for planning and you don't need half a day without your vehicle for routine maintenance.

Great experience, they kept me informed of what needed to be done and were able to squeeze my work in with little lead time. Was initially given a timeline of about a week to get the part in and install, but it was done within a couple days. They helped ease the stress of everything and am disappointed I hadn't tried out BCAA sooner!

Had our car break down when we were in Kelowna on a trip visiting family. BCAA came and towed our car to their service centre saying they could get it fixed faster than Mazda or anyone else. We trusted that they would be the best place to have the work done. They said there was one more problem we needed to get fixed as soon as we got home. We were happy to have our car back and fixed so quickly. Problem is when we got home our car died again and the service center where we normally go and trust completely said the part that BCAA put in was defective and that they should give us our money back. We sent the part back and now BCAA service center said the part we returned was not the part they put in. We spent over $600 on a repair at this center and then had to spend another $900 when we got home and now BCAA won't refund us for the defective part. Very disappointed in this service and all the money we spent not once but twice to fix this problem.

We came here last minute for what we thought was an alternator issue. They got us in right away, and had the source of the issue diagnosed and fixed in a couple hours! Their prices were super fair, and they were very kind and helpful to deal with! We couldn’t be happier with the service and we will definitely recommend to others!

I always bring my car here for oil changes. As a bcaa member, it comes with some extra perks! Including a free car wash, which is great. They've taken great care of my 08 Mazda3 since arriving to Kelowna. The shifter is like a hot knife through butter now! It's excellent. AND that annoying squeak when I back up is gone! It may be a bit expensive here, but you get what you pay for, excellent work. Thank you BCAA!

This place is a 10/10. The staff are super helpful whether you’re getting your car looked at or asking for advice with your vehicle. They will go beyond measures to help people out. With the Kelowna fires that went on and everyone was evacuating. They still went out of their way to help locals or travellers in this city. If your looking to find a mechanic shop to deliver what you have asked for come here!:)

You can book your appointment online without talking to anyone. It is the only reason I use the BCAA Auto Service Centre. I think they’re a little more expensive than some other places, but not egregiously.

Quick service that isn't pushy, which is super nice. Great waiting area with coffee and hot chocolate and comfortable seating

Had my car inspection taken care of here. Travis (Assistant Manager) and Rob (technician) were absolutely top notch. Extremely efficient, and very patient and happy to answer any questions I had, whether it was before coming in, or when I was there. Would strongly recommend!

Got a quote from my dealership for thousands of dollars and someone told me to try BCAA.happy I did because I saved a few thousand dollars. Car is perfect again! Recommend coming here for sure. Thanks for your help!

BCAA did two of our out of province inspections. They were great about giving us a heads up about a few obvious items to take care of before dropping the second one off a week after the first so that we weren’t having more trips than necessary. They were quick, accommodating and professional. Would definitely use again!

First time there. My initial impressions are very positive. I felt I was well informed by Joe, who took extra time at the end of his shift to take a car ride so that I could show him what I was concerned with. In the end I got what I needed for what seems like a fair price.

My only suggestions:

1) improve accessibility to the shop by phone - it appears that these folks are quite busy making it more difficult for them to get to all the calls right away.

2) This is the only location in Kelowna, which is likely why they're so busy. I'd suggest the possibility of a second location in West Kelowna to better serve their customers.

I'll go back.

This place is great! Cole and Joe got my wife's vehicle in super quick once my wife noticed her brakes making noise. The communication as to what was going on was excellent, and they got things done on the same day. They even squeezed in an oil change for me to save me from coming back. I recommend BCAA Auto Service Centre 110%

Having so many options for mechanics in Kelowna, I chose BCAA simply because I have a BCAA membership and thought I should try them out.

Making an appointment was easy, and I was happy with the straight-forward service I received. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell other services, and when I got my bill, it was actually lower than what I expected, and had everything laid out very transparently.

Will definitely be back again!

Had my vehicle towed to the BCAA Auto Service Centre in Kelowna after it died on the highway.

They replaced the fuel pump. Unfortunately the new pump caused an issue. The new pump was replaced again with no extra charge.

Travis and the staff put in a lot of effort to diagnose and repair issue. It was refreshing to deal with a business who 100% stood by their work.

They did a great job on my brakes! Would appreciate longer operating hours but I imagine that would complicate things. Travis, Joe and Dustin were all very helpful!

My son had an issue with the transmission oil in his truck. We called BCAA for a tow to the nearest maintenance facility. Rick (their tow truck driver) came to our house within a short period of time and helped get the truck hooked up safely and quickly. He took the truck back to the BCAA shop and was able to address the problem with the truck very quickly. We appreciate Rick’s helpfulness and positive approach. Despite the shop being closed on a Sunday, Chris in the shop was very helpful as well.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took a look at my vehicle for no charge and quickly discovered the problem. You can tell they are very honest and trustworthy because they could not fix the problem but they suggested who could. It is nice to know they put the customer first.

Big shout out to Travis Ingram - every time we use BCAA Travis and the team always go the extra mile!

With a brand new radiator they purchased and replaced, to leak in less than 3 years is not acceptable. As a two year warranty has passed, the suggestion to buy and replace with new radiator is not acceptable. Avoid this type of service and better to pay more and get the original car service.

The service was on time and priced competively.
The free car wash after the service is completed is much appreciated.

Today I was disappointed because the mechanics didn't look close enough for the problem.
Have to bring my car again tomorrow

Okay, so I cannot say enough about the service I receive here time and time again. Previously, I had a full inspection done on my vehicle and dealt with Joe Main- amazing service. Today, I went in and talked to him about my oil change light coming on. I get massive anxiety when things are amiss with my vehicle, because I'm in a situation where I am struggling financially and rely on it immensely.

Joe, very patiently, explained things to me and answered an extensive list of questions I had. Then, he had one of the mechanics quickly reset my oil change sensor, before explaining what course my vehicle would follow if it was something more insidious.

BCAA HR department- give Joe Main a raise, a bonus and/or a promotion! This man is a gem. I watched him deal with customers before me and he is one-of-a-kind. He is super knowledgeable, patient, and portrays himself as extremely trustworthy, which is hard to find in this industry. He's the kind of employee to build a business around.

Superior customer service! Joe at the front desk knows how to take care of customers! That man deserves a raise. He kept me informed about my car and communicated any issues that came up. He kept to the time lines on how long they'd need to keep my car. Thank you! I'll be referring my family and friends!

They were so busy changing winter tires and I had a flat and they helped me out because I'm BCAA member.awesome and I appreciate it.

Switch over my winter tires to summers. Joe M. At the front desk was very helpful and informative. It made the mundane task more enjoyable.

I booked a brake job with BCAA. While on the phone, I mentioned that I would be bringing my mounted summer tires with me, and wanted them put on the car rather than re-mount the winter tires. I was informed that that would be a separate service, and I would be charged extra.

HUH?

They take 4 wheels off and put 4 wheels on, but if they are not the same wheels - extra cost.

I cancelled my appointment.

I just have to say that I tried this location for a $20 discount after being rewarded for buying private insurance for my vehicle. I decided to take advantage of this offer for an oil change just to try them out. I was extremely impressed and happy with my experience. Travis Ingram (Asst Service Mgr) was welcoming, informative and accommodating). I felt really at ease for the first time please keep up the great work! Even without me having a BCAA membership and despite my $20 discount, this oil change would have been $20 more with GMC dealership where I always go to. They even washed my vehicle which is only available for members and checked and added air to my tires. They also did point inspection included with service without pressuring. Vehicle was ready under an hour. Very impressed and will get the membership. Thanks for great customer experience.

These guys were great! Very professional and just generally good service all round. I had a break check done and it was confirmed that my back brakes need to be replaced. Their quote was a bit cheaper than the previous garage I had been to, so I will be taking my car to BCAA, not necessarily because they’re slightly cheaper, but because they were great to deal with and the service was excellent.

A+ service, the guys went above and beyond, and even stuck around late to get me out the door. No need for any other shop in Kelowna for me now!

Very professional company, super reasonable pricing. An automatic future quote for my front brakes that are not in need of replacing yet but in the next 6-12 months. They didn't try to sell me anything I do not need and explained everything including free inspection of my back drum brakes as I am a BCAA member. I just want the general public to understand that I had no idea what a great company BCAA is. I became a member because they saved me money on my home insurance policies and became a $7 monthly member since I became a member I have had to call them for two lock outs, one battery boost and a tow when I broke down.all of this cost me nothing as its all covered in the $7 month for emergency road side assistance! Then I have been getting oil changes done at the regular vendors and found it was costing me $130-$160 cuz my truck takes synthetic oil.yesterday I was pleasantly surprised it only came to $107. I will be back for sure they include inspection, car wash or coupon if it's to cold now for a future visit in warmer weather! These guys are so amazing and I really appreciate them explaining everything to me in a relaxed non rushed manner and treated me as I am a very valued member! I believe it's important to support the company that has helped me when I needed it!

They told me there's no security cameras on the property (true, according to the police) which is irresponsible

Especially since the police said people get robbed literally all the time there when they leave their vehicle unattended at night.

As a result they won't compensate you or offer any support. You will have to spend energy and go to Small Claims Court, but it's a pain right?

Ah, and they ridiculously overcharge.

Go elsewhere.
