I wouldn't want to give a single star if it wasn't for the lack of this option. It's a complete zero on the scale. The waiter's attitude was extremely bad, the worst shop assistant I've encountered in a month in Vancouver with the worst service attitude, very impolite and very rude, I'd like to know why you need to check your ID card after checking your passport, do you carry your ID card for domestic use even when you're abroad instead of your passport? Very bad shopping experience, simply the worst shopping experience I've had in Vancouver in a month. I can't forget the arrogance and rudeness of this waitress for the next 10 years. I think the owner should focus on training his staff on service awareness!

The gentleman was kind in letting us know that the store was closing soon. However, young lady at the cash register was less than helpful. For a location that has a lot of customers that are not normally from BC, it would have been helpful to say what “second ID” was acceptable. In today’s day and age where people always carry their credit/debit card (an acceptable second ID), it would have been easy to say we can use that as second ID instead of turning us away. I guess she wanted to go home already

They have a decent variety, but I'd like a wider selection of wines from Spain and Portugal. The service used to be kind of bad, but they've had a complete change in attitude in the past year. Staff look pretty happy and are eager to help! I'm quite impressed with the change in.spirits. Haha!

Update: Walked in the other day and spoke with Mario, who was SO helpful. They didn’t have what I was looking for, but listened and tried hard to provide alternative suggestions without judgement. Had a really upbeat vibe, which I appreciated.

Older woman with the glasses whom others have given poor reviews for was there too, I think. She’s definitely unpleasant and I’d avoid her for assistance. I’ve been impressed by everyone else though. I frequent this location.

Yes. They do sell liquor, contrary to popular belief. Although they seem to ask you for your two pieces of ID prior to even saying hello. Interesting

They close much earlier than most BC liquor stores and they have a much smaller selection. Staff is always decently friendly though.
