Great upward trails and hiking paths.
Loved it! Worth it once you’re at the top and you see the view. Wowsville!
Great view of the valley and okanagan lake. We’ll be back soon.
Hoping wildfires don’t touch it. Stay safe in the summer and maybe go in the fall.
Also DEER are up here. We saw 4 of them prance away like Bambi’s family. Awesome.

Roses are red, violets are blue, if you see a bird that's blue, run fast out of view!

This park is a perfect option for loves biking and/or walks. The creek is crystalline and refreshing to walk inside. The views of the lake and kelowna are amazing from the peak. There is a waterfall, imponent and nice, with a small natural pool in the base. Recommended sunblock and repellent. The views would be better if the world shouldn't have stupid persons that smoke and provoque fires. If you visit places like this, please be conscious about how your behavior affects the natural life.

Really nice beach that's mostly sand even into the water. Has good green spaces and play structure right at the beach which is good for kids. Excellent hiking in the park

Beautiful campground. Nice sized clean and private sights. This is a very popular campground.

Great place to camp. Sites are not too close together and there are bushes in between so you still get some privacy. Site hosts are super nice and knowledgeable

The nicest provincial park I have stayed at so far. The staff is amazing. I am enjoying the peace and quiet.

Campsites were spacious and nicely leveled. There was a paved road that ran around the entire campsite. There was a nice big main bathroom with three stalls and many shower stalls as well as a few smaller bathrooms throughout the site. This was a beautiful lake front campsite that also had boat rentals and a park.

The park itself is beautiful, however the so called camp "hosts" were ridiculous. We had a 50th birthday party, all older professionals, and we were harassed multiple times during this trip by park staff. We had the entire park loop to ourselves and did multiple sound checks thru the evening. No music could be heard past the campsite itself, and voices were barely audible. There was no shouting, yelling, or loud music, yet the park staff hounded us multiple times and claimed we could be heard across the creek. We asked if there was a complaint, there wasn't. On the second night, they came by our site at 6pm while we were all sitting in our chairs around a fire, this time w one male staff, who upon being asked a single question, aggressively approached the questioner and began to make threats to call rcmp and have him thrown in the drunk tank. There was a picnic table between the male park staff and the person who asked the question, which is likely the only reason he didn't start a physical altercation w our group member. His aggression made several of the girls in our group very uncomfortable and fearful of walking about alone. I then asked ok please clarify the 10pm "quiet time" bc u seem to be asking for total silence. She replied no music whatsoever (no matter how quiet), no loud talking and no laughing. No laughing. We aren't an ignorant bunch, many of us shift workers for emergency services, and understand the need for quiet time, but this was being enforced to the point of ridiculous, essentially a curfew demanding utter silence. They then proceeded to drive past our sites every 15 to 20 mins w the vehicle lights turned off. Just after 10 we heard an unidentified voice behind a bush saying turn the music off. We had music on a cell phone, barely audible within the campsite itself, verified by video i took (without letting anyone know i was taking it). I've stayed in many provincial parks before, including this one, and have never been harassed like this, and I have never felt unsafe. I'll never go back this park, especially if that man is working there. They were looking to create problems, and their aggressive behaviour will cause huge issues this summer with younger crowds. I dont recommend this park anymore, and bc parks will be receiving several letters regarding this issue.

Awesome waterfall, creek, hike up and elevation gain. As well as short hike up at creek level and swim thru pools to waterfalls. Very nice campground and beach

The park is amazing! The beach is gorgeous! This is our first time here, and we love it, except those annoying camp fires some strange people make when the weather is 30+. I think the camp fires must be banned on this season. Every evening is a nightmare, no air to breathe.

What a darling of a campground. Look forward to spending more time here. Beautiful landscaping, great layout. Busy, but worth the trip.

This was our favorite park out of the three we visited this summer. We had a lovely lakefront spot, it was so spacious! I absolutely loved the pretty city/ mansion lights at night, it was gorgeous! The lake was a great swimming temperature and we had a blast on paddle boards.

My only complaint was that the washrooms were very overused and small for the number of guests. There was only one shower at the washroom nearest to us and it was always pretty muddy. We had such a nice stay here and found some excellent activities in and near Kelowna. We look forward to returning!

A beautiful location and a wonderful experience. A great day to spend together as a family and a fun hike for those that have some more energy. A really good place for taking photos or videos. I need sightseeing experience.

Very busy campground (but aren’t they all?). If it wasn’t for the $12/night for an extra vehicle, I would have given it 4 stars.

It was amazing and the beach rentals were a very reasonably cheap price. We went there for a day trip and we want to go back and camp there thats how great it was. Has a place to wash your feet after with was great from the sand and the water is about 5 feet tall in most places and there logs surrounding it so if you have little ones it's a great barrier.

Local easy waterfall. Wear shoes to get the falls and be prepared to get wet. It is a quick swim to the falls. Love on a hot day.

It was excellent very peaceful and not too crowdy.
The water and the view was breathe taking.
Very clean and well kept park.

Staff told us to run across the highway in order to go on the hike. Didn’t feel comfortable doing that or going for the hike afterwards. Wasted our money on a cab going there and back. Do not recommend for hiking.

Great hike! Definitely some steeper parts but dog friendly for sure. Water creek running through it which is nice as well!

Best family campground in the Okanagan.

Paved roads for bike use, beach access, hiking trails and so much more. Ideal for some good family focused fun.

Excellent facilities especially the washrooms in its cab very clean Right on the Lake close to the city would be hard to get a spot here when restrictions are off in the summer comes

Always a good camping experience. Beautiful park. Hiking trails across road. Clean water and great views from beach. One of our family favorites.

Great hike, and it is a loop. My 2.5 year old walked this entire hike with me. We started in the morning since about 2/3 of the hike is in direct sunlight. Since the hike is on either side of a canyon, the stronger water run off (mid May) allows a good cool breeze to be blowing upwards neark the hiking trail. We did the loop starting on the north side, which has a ton of shaded area and about 200 stairs. Then there are some switchbacks, not too steep but more exposed to sunlight. The loop has a number of lookour points from which you can view the canyon, waterfalls and river, Kelowna, Okanagan Lake. At the midpoint of the loop, the trail is level with the river woth a great shaded riverside spot for lunch (no benches or tables). After crossing the bridge, there are some more stairs and switchbacks. The path is a little narrow thers but people can pass each other. The south side of the loop was great as well, with some intermittent shade. The last little bit of the trail (above the parking lot) is more steep and has a risk of rolling pebbles and dirt, without a handrail. Overall, with my toddler and I did this is running shoes in about 2 hours and 15 minutes (including a 15 min lunch break).

Very clean, beautiful campground! The Creek running through the middle is a nice touch, and the facilities are quite nice.

Awesome hiking place to visit, took us just over an hour to walk entire track, wasn't busy in April 1st week. It was awesome natural wonders and beauty. Well developed walkable track all along. Only a short path was bit risky for young kids, other was fenced or not so much on edge. Recommended as top place in Kelowna, City park is next top tourist destination for us.

Perfect for family, or working out and cardio! Beautiful views, amazing waterfalls, nature and a full loops for a hike or jog. Even has swimming area.
09 April 2021 22:09
I am in awe of how many cool places like this are within 10 minutes of Kelowna, yet it feels like you have it to yourself.
08 April 2021 5:54
The rating is mainly for the campground since I didn't explore the park. Was expecting a forested area but it was more of an open field parking lot. The beached area was decent as well - less sand, more stones and pebbles.

Very clean and well equipped sites. Close to a busy road, so a bit noisy, but lovely location and across the street from the trails.

Camped here for 3 days on our way to Vancouver during a move from Toronto.
Beautiful views and my first glimpse of what B. C has to offer.
I'll never forget that adventure we had. Rather than taking a direct flight from Toronto to Vancouver, we flew into Kelowna and made our way to Vancouver from there. I'm glad we did.
The scenery on the bus ride is etched into my mind forever.
B. C is a beautiful place. Get outside and explore it as much and as often as you can.
