Very cool record store in Vancouver that I came across while walking around the city. Diverse selection of records and I came across several albums that I had been searching for. I hope to get back to Vancouver again and definitely get back to Beat Street.

Beat Street always have a good rotation of both new and old. Competitive pricing as well. Highly recommended if your visiting or a local.

Have been to this record store twice. Mostly went to go check out what house and techno vinyl they had in stock. Good selection of hip hop music, and other items, that in essence further serves the urban culture of Vancouver. Decent space in a historic part of the city

They have a really great collection and a really great space. Pretty often, in other record stores, you end up bumping butts and elbowing each other from just looking at each other from a distance.

Saw Nardwuar a couple of times here, too, always a fun time digging through the collection. Would like to see them implement a loyalty card or stamp card of some sort because we always buy huge stacks of records.

Amazing vinyl store - great for an extended dig - new and used - you can listen to the used vinyl! If you love vinyl - visit!

Friendly people over there. Great selection of music for hip hop heads as well as rare collectibles and merchandise.

This store is amazing and the selection is top notch. I was watching people spin and listen before their purchase, this is not a service which is usually provided at most record stores let alone a store in Downtown Vancouver. If you consider yourself an "audiophile" this is a go to shop.

Undoubtedly the sickest collection of physical music in the country, barely shadowed by the warm welcome you're greeted with from the amazing staff when entering the store. Super dope.

Great service, a very chill dude who was working at the counter kindly/patiently took his time to answer all my annoying questions about what they have stock, always have some awesome finds that your local store or sunrise may not have, very pleased with this store after seeing how the record store over by the spaghetti factory treats their customers. Beat street is the place to shop for sure!

Such a wide selection of records, cassettes, and cds.pricing is so reasonable compared to some of the other vancouver places. I found all kinds of music in here, from tyler the creator to stevie nicks to tupac.a must-visit for music fans

BeatStreet is amazing! They answer every question you come in with, and are more than willing to run to the back to grab something for you. Always so friendly and courteous! The best record place in downtown Vancouver for sure:) never leave empty handed, and the prices are fair for what you’re getting, especially with that great service!

Great customer service and good selection of records. Large variety and lots of genres. Some merchandise items as well a records.
