Beeryani - Indian Bistro & Bar

I placed a order today through uber eats. It looks like they forget to put salt in malie kofta and food was under cooked. Terrible food. I dont want to give 1 star but i have to check the order number.

I had an incredible dining experience at Biryani Indian bistro. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. The biryani was flavorful and cooked to perfection, with a great balance of spices. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our needs were met throughout the meal. I had the chicken tikka, biryani and mango lassi. All three were really good! The sizzler style of the chicken tikka was a pleasant surprise The decor is cozy and the view of the waterfront from the restaurant during sunset is amazing.

The restaurant only cared for a bigger party of 15 people and could not serve people who came prior to them. And both waitresses seemed to have forgotten our orders that's why we asked again after 30 minutes if we will be served or not and still no apologies from the staff.
Unprofessional.
Food wasn't bad.
But average in quantity, service and prices.
I had to wait 35 minutes for biryani and raita.
Hope they improve these things.
18 CAD for biryani and 6 CAD for raita.

The dine in experience was nice, you guys must try the chicken Tikka and Naan, if you want authentic India with a beach view and spend good night, a go too hang out place. Everthing else was good enough. Just have fun

This is a terrible restaurant. I ordered the butter chicken and coconut chicken and not only was it not up to par, it gave me horrible food poisoning. 3 of the most uncomfortable days of my life.

The food was excellent and so was the service. We had ordered:
1. Chicken tikka
2. Chicken Biryani
3. Mushroom Matar
4. Rotis
5. Jeera nimbu soda

Everything was authentic and delicious. Arjun, Ayush and Tanya were waiting on us. They were fun, warm, and so hospitable.

Try it out and Beeryani will not disappoint you!

Great restaurant - their Tandoori chicken. Wi he are to die for! The Lamb Biryani is amazing! Great service, good portions and price is reasonable! Decor is perfect for the location.

My friend and I were looking for a great Indian restaurant while visiting Vancouver and Beeryani was recommended to us and did not disappoint! The food, service and location were amazing! Would highly recommend trying this place out.

We tried the chicken tikka and paneer biryani.both were good. Quality and quantity both was good. The location is good too and at walking distance from beach. Definitely give it a try.

If anyone knows Indian Food and have average expectations about quality and taste, do not bother with this one.
The pav bhaji is like any other Potato curry with no pavbhaji masala taste to it.
The tandoori panner was the only decent dish for our group.
The chicken (both Chinese and Indian preparations) was pretty off on taste and quality.
Go elsewhere!

A friend and I enjoyed sitting on the deck on a rainy afternoon. The butter chicken was delishous & reasonably priced. Great beer as well! The service was extraordinary. We will be back! Highly recommended.

Super disappointed with my order. Good portion sizes, but the lamb was tough and dry (tasted old), the pakora were solid cold rocks (old) and the spinach paneer was too salty (and I love salt). Have ordered before and was happy with my order, but something went wrong this time.

Went there and had chicken biryani. Tandoori chicken is out of this world. Very friendly staff and my kids loved our server!

They are very unprofessional and the food might be good if you are lucky as the quality is not maintained the same on each visit. When raised about this problem the staff misrepresented themself and gave the owners name as theirs. This was escalated fuether with the upper management they dont look at this misrepresentation as a problem and were rather rude and bitter about the whole issue starting from poor food quality (burnt and bland food) to this.

This kind of outlook by the management doesn't represent all their staff as a lot of them are very friendly and courteous. The upper management/owner needs to work on this to have a successful team and eventually restaurant.

I would recommend going to another Indian restaurant in west end and avoid taking a chance to ruin your meal/day with such unprofessional management.

The owner Mr Sanjay called on my private phone number and starting harrassing me asking "what am I getting leaving the review", when I mentioned that I am trying to share what had happened he went on to say that these reviews don't matter to them or the business and further started ranting on. I had to hang up the call since he starting personally attacking me. Unfortunately even now he has failed to recognize the problem or show any remorse!

Thank You so much for the great service. I mean food aside Ayush (our server) was just amazing. Spectacular service, genuine and understanding.

Biriyani is by far good compared to other so called tomato rice named themselves Biriyani. Not to forget their Kerala fish curry total mouth watering taste

The food here is very good, good service and best location near the beach. Must try goat bhuna. More over staff and management too good.

What a wonderful surprise to find this restaurant. Amazing food and staff. Try the Himalayan margarita (tequila and red wine). I don’t usually recommend many restaurants, but this one is special.

Very flavourless, ketchup-y and dry chicken with store bought naan. Would have liked the option to have it spicy. View was nice but meal made me feel nauseous.

Placed a $50+ order on skip the dish and went on a call for 30 min assuming they were working on it. Then checked to app to find that the restaurant was unresponsive (at 6: 30 p.m. On a Saturday), that my order was cancelled, and that I now am stuck with a credit.

Located near the corner of Denman and Davie street in the English Bay section of downtown Vancouver. Cozy atmosphere with a patio that offers great sunset views of English Bay. Amazingly delicious food - flavors authentic and on point, and great cocktails as well. Staff is super friendly. A new favorite, will be back again soon.

A cozy place just at the cornor of English Bay beach which not only would captivate you with their delicious food but the splendid views as well. The place lived up to the expectations as the name depicts. The biryani was hands down yum. And to my surprise Vada Pao was outstanding too. A tasty meal and splendid sunset right across the street made the day even more magical.

Asks to mention allergies (if any) everywhere on the menu and when mentioned the owner bluntly says "we can't prepare anything" as for my friends that did have something to eat got the worst customer service from the same person. You'd be better off with any other Indian restaurant except this.

Tasteless food, we ordered lunch thalies. Butter chicken taste like rubber and white chane looks like it kept in stock from few days. Even kheer in dessert was weird. I think I can cook more better than that….

Nice, clean, newer looking restaurant. Delicious food - we had butter chicken and chicken curry with rice and naan. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and we left stuffed full. The naan was hot! The meal and service were both excellent. Highly recommend.

Update: recently online orders have deteriorated in quality. It’s soggy and has bland taste. Reducing my rating.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Vancouver, I order from here the most. They also have the best biryani. Others tend to be wet/soggy when delivered, here it is always crisp. Rest of the food is great in general and the in-person patio views are nice in summer.

I had a great time at your restaurant. The atmosphere was super awesome and I definitely really liked that you guys have a modern yet authentic style. The servers were also very nice and positive. Most importantly, every dish and drink that we ordered tasted amazing. Definitely coming back soon!

I had a great time eating delicious Indian food. The menu is filled with so many options and different things to try. Besides the amazing food, this location has a great set of staff and servers, they are really helpful and wonderful. Definitely will be recommending this restaurant and coming back regularly.

When they first opened the quality was amazing and full of flavour. Unfortunately the last few times we’ve ordered the food has had no flavour and was a waste of money. Last night we gave them another shot and the food was bland and flavourless… such a disappointment! Not sure if there cooks have changed or why the drastic change but it’s so sad! Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

I reached out to Beeryani for a last minute catering requirement for an event and they did a fantastic job in making sure the food was great, packaging flawless, delivery timely and smooth. I order in fairly regularly from Beeryani and the food never disappoints.

Named after Biryani, but their food tastes bland and hastily prepared. Not authentic, outdated prices on the website, no salt, and no utensils.

I can really only speak about the Tandoori chicken wings but they are so good. I ordered 2 orders of 10 pieces each. I think I at at least 15 of them. Staff also very nice and practicing good Covid protocols.

Maybe one of their most regular, appreciated patrons. Beeryani has been a life safer for us on especially those “gimme-oomph-Delhi-food” evenings and afternoons. Their items are 100% fresh and service always on point! Every chat item we’ve tried here has been crispy, sweet sour spicy to the levels appreciated. Appetizers made with attention to detail and flavor. Personally am a huge fan of their Delhi style chicken tikka and amritsari panner tikka haven’t eaten stuff like that anywhere around in Vancouver. We even catered from them for my birthday which was a pleasure from start to finish, every guest was blown away by how good it was! Besides the chats, appetizers they’ve also some subtle main preparations as well like the Beeryani chicken curry or the biryani which feels like eating at home. Finally we’re very grateful to be located 5 mins to this place and Ayush who has served us here extremely kindly for that complete 4+1 star experience.

Be careful ordering online. It is not clear you are ordering from the dirty rotten, no good, oughta be put out of business along with all other parasitic gig corps that rob from communities.

Small yet amazing place to hangout and have dinner with friends. We went there on the 25th of December. They were not very crowded and they were following the 50% seating capacity due to covid. Therefore the place was hygienic enough. The food was good. You get nice Indian Street food and main courses too. Quick service and friendly people.

I went there with my friend for dinner. There was just oner server and we had to wait for about half an hour just for appetizers. Service is too slow. Not at all recommended.

It is hard to find good Indian food downtown. The servers were very friendly and the food (biryani and paneer) were delicious. I will definitely be back.

I am constantly searching for new restaurants, especially Indian cuisine and let me tell you, this place is amazing! I love the location, love the food and the server "Ayush" was bloody fantastic, super friendly with great recommendations!
