I had a wonderful experience with Pearl at Bello Wedding World!

Pearl helped me in the process of making a custom wedding dress through Maxima Bridal, who is one of their partners. Pearl took my measurements, confirmed all the design details that I asked for, and placed the order for the dress for me.

After my dress was made in the Ukraine and shipped to the store, Pearl also helped with the fittings and alterations (which were minor, since the dress was made to my measurements). She was always very sweet, friendly, patient, and gave me lots of great advices.

My vision for the perfect dress came to life thanks to Pearl/Bello/Maxima Bridal, and I felt so beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day! I highly recommend Bello/Maxima Bridal for anyone who's looking to do a custom dress.

Decent selection of dresses to choose from, rental option available. You can rent any wedding dress in store for 50% off the retail price (capped at $800) which includes tailoring and dry clean. E.g. If the dress is $2000 retail you would still pay $800 for rental.

With Pearls help I was able to find the perfect wedding dress with such ease. Not an easy experience when you are 7 months pregnant but Pearl made it stress free and went above and beyond. I would recommend to anyone, her professionalism is unmatched.

I received so many compliments of my wedding dress that I rented from Bello. This store is a gem for those looking to rent wedding dresses. Pearl, the manager, does a great job helping with the selection and fitting. They have a large selection and they offer alteration and hem along with the rental. The cost is 50% of the dress if you rent but if you want to purchase the dress it is 100% of the cost. They also have new selection of dresses so you can change your mind until your wedding day. I also rented my veil from here.

I also purchased my bridesmaid's dresses from here as well and they have a wide selection of styles and colours to choose from. They also offer Chinese tea ceremony outfits, mom outfits and evening gowns. I highly recommend this place for any bride looking to rent or purchase their wedding dress!

I rented my wedding gown and veil from Pearl, and she did a fantastic job with making the rental process so easy! The alterations (shortened straps, added pads, and shortened the hem) were terrific, the return process seamless! As a planning bride, the less stress, the better. Guests at my wedding couldn't believe such a beautiful dress was a rental. I'd recommend stopping here for wedding dress shopping/renting for sure!

Found the dress here with a reasonable price. The owner Pearl was really friendly and patient. She understood my concerns then picked several dresses for me to try on and she was really efficient on alterations.

Pearl is super professional, knowledgeable, and gave me peace of mind when I handed over my wedding dress to her for alterations. The price was very reasonable and she was able to get the dress done on a tight timeline (a week!).

I had a horrible experience with the store I had originally bought the dress from in New Westminster and bringing it to Pearl to get the alterations done the way I wanted was such a blessing. Honestly, I wish I had discovered Bello Wedding World earlier so that I could've had an amazing stress-free experience start to finish!

I've come to realize that many people I know have gotten their wedding dresses from Bello over the years, and I can absolutely see why. They've been around for decades, from what I see the store has a great selection, and Pearl with her amazing customer service is at the center of it all.

Pearl was such a pleasure to work with- I found the exact dress I wanted, she paired it with a gorgeous cathedral veil, and was professional throughout the process. I needed some alterations to the straps, and those were done perfectly. I'd recommend Pearl for any bride looking for the perfect dress and a little reprieve from all the wedding planning intensity!

Terrible experience. I got fitted for a dress and custom ordered a brides maid dress (length & size). I had told the employee my size but she decided to ignore me (although she took my measurements) and still decided to go up 4 sizes even though I expressed my concerns that it wouldn't fit me if we did. Her error made me spend more money than needed, because when the custom dress came in, it was unsurprisingly too large on me and was told I needed to get the dress hemmed and taken in, in order for the dress to fit me.the whole purpose of a custom made dress is that it comes preordered to your liking and preference. Even though I paid extra for the dress to be taken in to fit better, it still didn't fit me in the end (I had to hold the dress up most of the day so I wouldn't peek a boo out of it) and the stitching design to the front of the dress also came apart after wearing it for all of 10 hrs. The material was definitely not good material considering it started falling apart after one use, mind you I was mostly standing with not much movement except walking. Luckily I brought a back up dress and switched out of it as soon as I could! A dress that should have cost me 200 ended up being over 400 because of the employees error. I would highly reccomend to go elsewhere, a place where cash grab or taking advantage of people isn't on the fore front of their mind but rather quality and care in customer service.

Pearl was awesome and helped so much for our wedding. Her prices are reasonable and she is very accommodating. Did I mention she's also multilingual? English Japanese Mandarin and Cantonese! She works with great photographers and stylists as well.

The staff at Bello is very experienced and knows what couples need. I feel very comfortable and happy to get what I want, even more and better: D

I found my perfect dress here! Everyone thought it was made for me and I got a lot of compliments. It was my first stop, but I went to other places to compare it. I decided for this one because I could rent and fit in my budget, plus it was the perfect one. I didn’t need any big adjustments and Pearl accommodate everything within such short notice wedding (less than one month).

Lovely place! We got our bridesmaids dresses here, and the lady who helped us was really nice. The dresses are also sooo pretty, and they have so many shades to choose from. Really appreciated that we could choose different styles of dresses and have them custom made in the exact same colour.
