There are not enough stars to rave about this place. Get the royale with cheese, curly fries with extra peppercorn magic sauce. Grab a table and hang out with Taryn for 12/10 service or join Rob at the bar and enjoy a lovely afternoon of quick whit. Double the happy hours double the awesome.

This place is a gem. Craft beers plus good food. They have outside seating attached to the main building and they now have a street patio on 29th.

We ordered the 2 for 1 burger platter via UBER. They added $8 in fees and gave us about 10 fries with each platter. Shrinkflation in full force here. The fries were good, wish we had more, and the burger was pretty good, it was very similar to White Spot. I won't order again as the hidden charges and pitiful amount of fries was a big turn off.

It's a good place to meet friends for lunch - a bit pricy (but what isn't these days), and the burgers are tasty.

My visiting cousin & I had eaten at an Asian restaurant but joined my husband & two girls who had the Excel burgers. Two smashed beef patties with lettuce, tomatoesand thousand Island type sauce, cheese plus fries, garlic aioli at $22 each. I did eat a few fries & aioli - these were decently crispy & sauce was garlicky which I can give this a five star. I tried a smidge of burger and all our verdict was we really have to think about coming again as the burgers were okay tasting for this price. Meat seem fresh but overall for the burger, I have had better on west & east side and return to those places for taste, quality and price. Ambiance & service reasonable for these other places - on other reviews. Maybe we would return to Bells for fries, their specials or if you just want to hang out in the neighborhood, (but we are not real drinkers).

Always a great spot for a pint and the Thursday special is a great deal, would highly recommend!

Totally shocked ….

Visited for lunch with my kids. The male staff member who responded was too late in serving dishes, etc, so the children were hungry. It would have been nice if they had been sensible and just given me the bowl first. I thought he must have forgotten because he was so busy, so I went to pick it up myself, but he scolded me to wait. The female employee or the female boss was kind. All breakfast burgers were too salty and tasted terrible. The poutine was so bad I couldn't eat it. I was so hungry that I ordered some extra bread, but the bread was soaked in oil and the price was different from what I was told. The service was slow and they gave me a receipt even slower. I paid close to $50 and left everything behind, leaving me hungry. Won't go again. Too expensive for the taste

I liked the place, and the veggie burger I had and a salad another time. The fries are great: thin and crispy. Quite pricey overall.

Got takeout and ordered two burgers & fries, korean chicken lettuce wraps and the chicken wings… all of which was extremely salty.

The lettuce wraps were so sauce-y and salty I couldn’t finish it, and the fries were overly salted too. The chicken wings were the only good thing we ordered.

Personally wouldn’t go back, but it’s one of the few bar food spots in that area.

Food here is generally good albeit a bit pricy which is normal for the area. Main issue is the speed of service being too slow. It took something like an hour for my order of their classic burger to arrive and what I thought would be a quick bite was delayed a lot. Perhaps more waitstaff are needed but nevertheless it’s a shame that a restaurant with good quality food is unable to have better service.

Was really hungry, ordered their largest burger which turned out to be quite small and poorly constructed, but tasty. My pint of beer turned out to be a sleeve.

Second time. Burgers are amazing. Two burgers. Two pints. Two Sundays. One Coffee. With tip. $100. Ok the service was not great the night we went. New server maybe.but anyway we enjoyed ourselves.recommend.

Tons of gluten free and celiac safe options. Gluten free & celiac safe chicken and waffles! My waitress was also celiac which was helpful! The dishes are a little small, but very tasty. Drink specials are always on as well.

Food was awesome but the service was …. Weird. The person who asked us if we were coming in didn’t even say hi, just muttered for us to sit wherever and then never checked on us after we got our food. We got up to pay our bill and he was eating at the bar. Chicken sandwich was rad though. 70$ including a 20% tip to sit at the bar and not check on us must be nice though
