The folks at Ben’s Appliances continue to impress me with their outstanding customer service. A few months ago, after reading great reviews and then getting a glowing personal recommendation from a very good friend, I bought a new dishwasher from Ben’s Appliances. It was delivered on time, as promised.
Unfortunately, that specific dishwasher developed an issue, which required me to contact the manufacturer. When I was not able to get the issue resolved with the manufacturer to my satisfaction, I went back to Matt of Ben’s Appliances. It did not take him long to help resolve that situation in a way that was completely acceptable to me. At all times, I was treated with great respect by Matt. I am very pleased that he put a high priority on my satisfaction as a customer. As a result, I am once again a happy customer of Ben’s Appliances.

Matt, at Ben’s Appliance, is absolutely amazing! After several conversations over the phone and text I made the decision to stop in and look at their stock even though the a traeger model I was hoping to buy wasn’t in stock and was unable to come in during my time in the area. I stopped in to see what was available and Matt went above and beyond to answer my questions and even helped me choose a model they had in stock that exceeded my expectations both for quality and cost! I would whole heartedly recommend Ben’s appliance and will be back to do business with them in the future! Great shop, great products, and even better service!

Bingo bango the job was done right and done fast. I booked a service call for our defective fridge on-line on a Sunday and they called first thing Monday morning to schedule a convenient time for us. They were at our house Monday afternoon and were in and out in an hour. Ben's will now be my first and only call for appliance service work.
Feb 2023: still as good as ever. Very quick to respond and arrive. Happy to do a repair and not just sell me a new appliance. Detailed explanation of what went wrong. Thank you!

Been using Ben's for a few years now, first to repair the appliances that came with our home (that weren't from Ben's), and most recently to purchase a dish washer.

The service tech Ken was very nice He was good at troubleshooting the problem. He spent roughly 45 min total working on my dishwasher in total. Needed a part and had to go and get it
The only thing that I wasnt too happy with was for 45 min work the labour charge was $165 which I felt was a bit steep for that amount of work There was a bit of fidgeting by around to get the door aligned properly when done which was about 15 min worth of work having to put it together and take it apart a few times
I am a red seal electrician and worked service just recently Our hourly rate was $125 per hour

We had a good experience. We ordered a Bosch dishwasher at a great price with quick delivery. The installation crew were friendly and efficient. The dishwasher fits better than others we have had in the same place and is so quiet that at first it was hard to believe it was running.

This was our first time dealing with Bens Appliance (replaced every appliance in our kitchen for reno) and while we’re hoping our appliances don’t need replacing anytime soon, it will be Bens we go to in the future! We have found our forever appliance supplier. Ben’s Appliances, such a breath of fresh air to be greeted and helped by staff who really care about customers and their products. Best part is that we are supporting a local family run business.

Ben's Appliance did a super job. My fridge model was difficult to get and took a long time, but Ben's got the fridge I wanted and did a tricky bit of moving of the old fridge downstairs for me as well. They set everything up perfectly and I could not be happier with my new fridge and the service and delivery Ben's provided.

Our family has purchased from Ben’s Appliances for years, at multiple homes. I recently helped my elderly Mother purchase a new fridge and washer/dryer set. All done from the website details and advise over the phone. I was able to be onsite during delivery. Old machines were moved out so I could clean before new ones were placed. As set up is a little different, they changed the door opening direction as well. My Mom is very happy with her new quiet fridge and freezer drawer. Thanks to everyone at Ben’s!

I had a great experience with Ben's Appliances when replacing my washer and dryer recently. I had great interactions with Matt when I spoke to him over the phone about my situation and needs. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, and even remembered speaking to me previously as it had been a few weeks from my initial inquiry to when i decided to purchase. While there was a slight miscommunication with the delivery team about what time they would be delivering my washer and dryer, they were very friendly and efficient. There was a slight issue with the washer's connection, and Russ kindly followed up the next day on it and he himself came by to complete the washer installation. Overall, it was a great experience and I will make sure to make future appliance purchases here.

Great, painless experience both in the store and when it came time for delivery. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful. When it came time for delivery, Kevin was professional and friendly, and unlike other delivery people I've dealt with, was very clean and did not leave any mess behind. Definitely will be coming back to Ben's Appliances when I need anything else.

Was greeted quickly, warmly and was given tremendous help in choosing the right appliances for us. The friendly salesperson, Russ, answered our every question and was extremely knowledgeable about all appliance products, models and brands which helped us make our decision on 4 kitchen appliances with satisfaction and confidence. He paid close attention to our needs, including the specifics of the timing of our do-it-our-self kitchen renos and offered very fair prices for delivery, installation, removal and disposal according to our specific details. Russ also went the extra mile and visited our home personally to measure our existing cupboards to make sure the built in oven we wished to purchase would fit properly. We appreciated very much his honest, no game-playing approach which left us knowing that we purchased good quality appliances and would not end up finding better prices AND better service anywhere else. We highly recommend Ben's Appliances.

We had a perfect experience from sales to installation with our new dishwasher purchased from Ben’s appliances. It was our first purchase from Ben’s but definitely won’t be our last. I like that it is a long-standing family run business. Matt in sales was so helpful in narrowing our choice by providing honest pros and cons. His brother Kevin did the installation. Kevin and the dishwasher arrived at the time promised. I really liked that the installation was not contracted out. You really felt that the company wanted you to be pleased and would stand by their product and workmanship. I had a question about our 30 year old still-working fridge and whether a new one could fit without having to take out our upper cupboards. Kevin was able to measure right on the spot and ask his brother and answer the question at once. And lastly we got a personal email about two weeks after our purchase from Shelly to make sure we were pleased with the dishwasher. Not a survey monkey questionnaire but just a short email.
It was so refreshing to feel that our purchase and pleasure in that purchase actually mattered.

I phoned the store looking for a particular BBQ that was unfortunately out of stock. Matt phoned his distributor to see if there was a chance it would be available in the small window we would be in town (we live 4 1/2 hours away). I got a second call back a short time later after receiving confirmation that it sadly wouldn't be re-stocked in time for our trip.

We had a good chat about the product lines he has, the fact that he knew the small town I live in, and some discussions on the item I was after. I have to say, I was really impressed with the prompt call backs and the overall genuine friendliness over the phone. That right there got my business. Even though they didn't have the BBQ I was after, I am going to be buying the accessories for that product from them.

I wish more stores nowadays took that little bit of extra time and made the effort like Ben's did. To me, they really stood out. Thanks guys!

This is the third time we've purchased from Ben's Appliances (washer/dryer, stove, and now fridge) and we continue to be extremely impressed. From the initial sales experie CE to the delivery & setup, they're professional, helpful, and really listen to our needs without upselling. I would not hesitate to shop here again and recommend them to anyone I know.

The electric oven of our 42" duel fuel range gave up the ghost the day before the major local appliance stores were shutting down for the Covid19 pandemic and couldn't or wouldn't help us. Based on excellent reviews on the internet, we contacted Matt Notting at Ben's Appliances, with whom we had never dealt before. Matt was scrambling to determine what Ben's was going to do in response to the pandemic lockdown, but took the time to canvass our alternatives with us and find a solution from incoming stock that could be delivered within a week and save us from being without a range for the duration. Matt gave us a great price on a beautiful JennAir 42" duel fuel with griddle; and the two Notting brothers delivered it personally a week later. Matt also found us a gas fitter who would come out during the shutdown. We are very happy with the range after 3 months. Great service combined with a very competitive price will bring us back to Ben's for future appliance needs.

Bought a range from Matt at Ben's appliance and service was much better than any traditional box store. He helped me make sure that the stove I wanted would fit my previous cut out, dropped off the stove two weeks earlier than the box store and organized a gas installer to show up 15 minutes after he dropped it off. I will be buying all future appliances from here and I have recommended to others to do the same!

We needed to replace both washer and dryer and Matt was exceptional in providing sensible and good advice on various models to choose from. Delivery was superb - Kevin worked incredibly efficiently and had the new machines in and hooked up in no time - he took great care to explain how the washer and dryer worked and took us through a dry run! Highly recommend this family owned business over the big box stores any day!

I purchased a dishwasher from Ben’s after doing an online search of appliance stores. It was the best experience ever when dealing with a store. It was delivered, installed and the old dishwasher taken away by Kevin. He was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet and excellent at his job. The cost was the same as the big box stores but the service was amazing. It reminded me of the service from years ago when everyone took pride in their work and did the best job they could. You just don’t see that anymore. I will never shop anywhere else for appliances. Ben’s it is. Thank you!

I’ve purchased two dishwashers, a dryer and a washer from Ben’s Appliances so far. Over the years they have always been my “go to” store. I don’t even bother checking prices at big box stores or comparing products anymore. I just go to Ben’s, tell them what I need and my budget, and trust that they will recommend the best product for my needs. Their prices always end up being the same as the big box stores anyway.

Their service is absolutely amazing - from patiently giving advice to smooth installation. I’ve never had any problems with the products they sold so can’t comment on warranty but I know they have technicians that service appliances on site (rather than farming it out to contractors like the big box stores do). I like the accountability of dealing with a smaller store because I know the employees by name, and they know me. When I call or email, they respond immediately. I will continue to go to Ben’s as long as they are open.

Ben's Appliances is a great place to purchase your appliances. They helped me out in a pinch when no one else could and they gave awesome customer service. Thank you so much for all your help. I will definitely shop there again.

They literally just delivered an electric Whirlpool “laundry centre” (aka: a solid unit consisting of a stacked washer & dryer). I did not want to delay writing this review.
From what I could gather, this is the basics of the essential staff in this family business, although I’m sure they all do many jobs to successfully keep things as seamless as they do:
- There is; “Russ” who handles clients himself; very hands-on, helpful, & you will likely find that calls are forwarded directly to him (. Even if he’s at home on 48 hr false alarm quarantine lol. That’s dedication!)
- Then there are Russ’s two nephews; brothers Matt & Kevin. Basically, in my experience, Matt calls clients back to place & bill orders & Kevin delivers the appliances.

1.) We are in the middle of a pandemic and these guys are working to get appliances delivered to those who are in need of such items. What a time to have my washing machine kick-the-bucket! They are quite literally life-savers.
2.) All 3 of these wonderful humans are knowledgeable, personable, & kind. (I’d definitely say experts in their field!)
3.) They are calm & efficient! Even in the midst of a PANDEMIC where the entire world is operating in chaos & all other services are being delayed. Ben’s Appliances were cautious of the current health crisis, but not over-reactive as many others appear to be. (Meaning: There is NO WAY that any of these guys have stockpiles of toilet paper and hand-sani at their homes! Haha) But they’ve taken all necessary precautions; temporarily relief of non-essential staff, stores closure to customer traffic, etc.
4.) Matt failed to ask/mention the stairs in my home. No biggie, human error happens & he’s still awesome! But when his brother Kevin arrived to deliver solo? I’m thinking, “He’s gona have to re-book w/me”, right? WRONG. Kevin has done this for 30 yrs. He removes my old machine and brings in the new one single-handedly. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. My stairwell consists of two landings and is extremely tight as the family who owns it had self-renovated this house into two separate suites years ago. The machine literally went wall-to-wall & ceiling-to-floor. I wouldn’t go through anyone else for appliances. I highly highly recommend these guys.
5.) After all that and after obviously having to pay a delivery fee, as pickup is not a current option, they gave an extra yr warranty on parts & labor. The delivery fee itself is $125 and that includes the removal and disposal of the old machine, which I think is definitely worth paying to not have to deal with any of that stuff!

Family owned. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I purchased a Traeger grill from them and the process was very quick and easy. Given the Covid-19 pandemic this shows their dedication to high quality service. I will definitely be going back for future appliance purchases!

Over the years, I've purchased 3 appliances after consulting with Russ. The latest was a dishwasher. Installation by Kevin was without mess or damage to the challenging cupboard. Very happy with my purchase.

Our washing machine machine sprang a leak during a cycle and there was water all over our hallway. We called Ben's just before they closed on the Saturday, and they sent a repairman to take a look Tuesday morning (all Monday was already booked up by then).

The repairman came in the morning, and after inspecting the machine determined the gasket needed to be replaced. He had to order the part but said he would be back right away. Luckily, this order didn't take long to deliver and he was back the next day. Within 30 minutes, our machine was fixed and he was on his way.

Jamie (the repairman) and Shelly (the person we spoke to on the phone to book the appointment) were both pleasant and helpful. We are new homeowners and this was the first time we've had to repair an appliance. We will be calling them again if something happens to our appliances again.

Was a positive experience from the time I walked in the door of Bens App and spoke with Matt, till the time kevin walked out of my door.
Kevin was very quick at getting the washer/dryer set up and took the time to give me a crash coarse on how to run this new technology.
