Worst customer service ever. Very understaffed and you have to do a run around the store to find anyone to help you out. After finding assistance, you have to wait another 10 mins minimum for them to grab some else to help you. Service before was outstanding getting asked if you needed help before even trying to find assistance. I would not recommend this location and will not be returning.

The employees were very rude, and most were disrespectful to customers. I asked for headphones; she said she would be back with the key but never returned. When I asked again, she yelled and worked another customer.

On the other hand, the customer service employees were even worse than the floor employees. I asked to use my financial account because she didn't know how to use it and gave me various reasons why I couldn't use it.

I never recommend this location

I was returning an item today (Nov 17,2023) and the cashiers at the checkout/customer service line were in a disagreement over who should handle the return request. I was shocked to see that their dispute escalated to physical pushing and shoving. While it looked harmless, I couldn’t believe I had to wait until they resolved their internal disagreement before one of them could process my return. Extremely unprofessional and I have reached out to their website, Bestbuy Canada contact-us section and left a complaint there as well.

Best Buy. Worst customer service at their return desk. Attempted to make an exchange today. And decided to make a return and just leave. So done with this place. Found what I wanted on Amazon without the rude return department lady.

I recently went here just to look at ebikes as I had been contemplating buying one for quite some time. When a deal to buy one from a friend fell through I landed here to browse. As it's sometimes hard to find a sales representative (sign of times) I did not know where to even look at first. Gladly I found Mo, who was working in the appliance section, and asked where I may find ebikes. I expected he would just point or tell me vaguely where to go but instead he led me right to the ebike display, stayed with me even though I don't think it was his department, and answered all my questions. He basically sold me the ebike pretty much right away with his enthusiasm, skill, knowledge of product and patience. He went above and beyond, even helping to unbox and assemble the product. When one aspect of the assembly alluded us both, Mo continued to try. Again he went well beyond his duty here and I wished there were a way to tip him. He refused a tip. I know it's probably company policy and I understand. He definitely deserves some recognition for his service, determination and outstanding efforts. He even suggested a good place to take my ebike to finish the setup. Mo is a good enough reason for anyone to shop at this location. I wish him all the best!

I would like to say that my experience at best buy on Granville was awesome only because Roman was totally awesome and accommodating and he went out of his way to make sure I was properly attended to and adequately went out of his way to make sure my purchase was properly finalized in spite of some glaring technical difficulties in regards to the credit card system. Great employee, totally professional and kind and genuinely interested in my satisfaction as a costumer and I will definitely be back. Awesome job Roman and keep up the good work!

Worst customer service. Today I went to the store and asked a representative named "Lavya" about a product. Without checking properly he just simply said 'We don't have'. Then I asked him if they have any similar products he just rudely replied 'I can't help'. I didn't get that why he treated me like that. They should treat all customers equally. I never expected this grade of customer service from bestbuy. Still giving a 3 star as I come regularly and this is my first time with bad experience.

Customer success is 5stars and above. I bought this mini display port to MDMI cable and it's half the price online. I ended up not returning since I had no time. The staffs at store are super nice. You have good people not the right price for me.

The stuff are very helpful! Particularly Kimya was very knowledgeable about the exchange process and made excellent recommendations! Paulo was very helpful and helped me get the TV into the car. My suggestion to bestbuy would be to put in place a process so customers can pay for expedited delivery.l

As a Fathers Day gift my wife wanted to buy me the Audio-technica bronze turntable. When she went in to the Best Buy on Robson Street to enquire if the turntable was available the Sales person named Will explained that unfortunately they were sold out in all the stores as well as online. Will informed my wife that he would call her if anymore came in to the store. As you can imagine typically you never hear from that store again, NOT in this case! Will called my wife this past week to inform her that the turntable she was looking for had arrived in the store. We were shocked but very happy with this phone call from Will. Needless to say we picked up the turntable yesterday and have not stopped talking about the amazing customer service Will provided to us. I have shopped at Best Buy before and have had mixed results on customer service. This time Will hit it out of the park. Will understands the true meaning of customer service. If you had an entire staff of "Will's" you would never have a negative customer experience. Who ever hired Will, well done on that. Will should actually put on a customer service training session. Anyways, I will be definitely shopping more at Best Buy (and hoping that Will is working when we drop by). Thank you Will for an awesome customer service experience! You are really great at what you do.

Thanks Ali! I have been to BestBuy (Granville St) a couple times. I needed some help to choose the best headphones for me as I was looking for very particular features. I asked the first BestBuy employee I found and it ended up being an amazing assistant. Ali knew a lot about the products and he was able to find the perfect fit for me. I had to go back a second time and Ali was again very very helpful. I don't really like buying in big stores like this but I have to admit that my experience was a good one.

I was there in the morning for five minutes looking for a couple of stuff. Within that five mins, four staff members approached asking "you finding everything ok? ". I understand customer service, but this is a disservice which kills the "shopping" experience. Staff do not have allotted sections and just wander around and bombard the customers. When I said yes Im doing fine, they seemed offended that I did not need their help. Annoying experience.

Had a great experience at Best Buy where Seraj was super helpful and provided advice to make sure I was buying the right earphones for the right purpose. In an online environment, people like Seraj are the reason I still come to the store!

I bought a tv from Bestbuy on Granville st and Masoud helped me to pick a 65" tv. I came to store looking for a Samsung QLED 65" which was on sale at vision.ca and Masoud helped me to get a higher model of the same tv which was also on sale for the same price. He also offered me a very good deal on the warranty which I couldn't reject, so for the first time I got warranty for my tv. Beside the deal it was a pleasure talking to Masoud, it was like he cares about the customer and what he sales.

I bought a laptop here recently. I thought the selection was great, but most of all, I appreciated the customer service provided to me by Kalyan. Call the store to talk to customer service regarding an issue with a product but ionly an answering machine and doesn't connect you to a REAL PERSON at the store. Now I gotta drive to the store to get them to fix the mistake they made. Ordering from amazon from now on!

I visited this store yesterday 26-11-20. One of their sales representative (EHSAN) treated me very respectly. He is very knowledgeable however before selling the product he let me know about each and everything in detail. I recommend if you visit this store then ask for his assistance. He is really helpful.

Ordered a tv online from these guys on October 29th. It's December 18th today and I still haven't been able to secure a delivery day. Customer service seems like they have no idea what they're doing. Wouldn't suggest buying from here. Instead, shop from somewhere that believes in good customer service. Also, picking a place to buy from that understand how deliveries work would be a plus.

Customer service here sucked. Especially the sales associate on camera. He had no politeness at all and I guess he don't know what is customer service. He was always yawnig even during I asked some question. And when I was confused about price of camera which I wanted because there's many price tags, I asked him which one showed a price of what I wanted. Surprisingly, he just pointed and touched the price tag for many times without saying at all and with blankness. I think I was more polite than the sales person. Conversely, I would like to praise how rude he could be to customers.

Great place, except for one issue. Whenever I buy a game it feels like I need to wait 10-15 minutes for the staff to find a copy of the game to sell to me.

I've learned not to expect great service at Best Buy. Or any service at all - Best Buy is, after all, notorious for being so understaffed that you could grow a beard before you ever found anyone to lend a hand. But this place is surprisingly different - not sure if they hired a whole shwack of floor sales associates for the Christmas season, or if this location is always well staffed, but I was in and out of there in 10 minutes. Fastest Christmas shopping ever!

Highly disappointed! I reserved online one black book cover for my Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 at 10am. Few hours later I am there to pick it up and one of the stuff there brings me GRAY book cover? ! I say, it's supposed to be a black book cover, she looked at the paper then apologized and left to grab a black cover for me. Couple minutes later she comes back empty handed saying "I am sorry but all black book covers sold out now"! It's so frustrating when people don't care. If that bestbuy worker in the morning grabbed the correct item everything would be great, but no, now I have to wait 10 days for the delivery.
Shame on you guys because it is an excellent store with great selection of electronics, but the customer service there horribly suck!

I went in because my Samsung Watch was not giving me much more than the time. I spoke to Will, who went through the functions of the watch and helped me unlock and open the functions so that I could talk and receive calls, use the golf app, and a few other things.
Without Will I was ready to toss this Gear 3 Classic watch.
Thanks Will! BTW - I had gone to the Richmond Samsung Experience store to learn about my watch, and they couldn’t give me the time of day, so I really appreciate that Best Buy has staff who could help.

Chaotic outlet as compared to other supermarkets. But you just cant beat the deal in many things. However, advised to check prices in other supermarkets, because the packaging of some products are not intact.

TLDR: Beware of their Geek Squad cell phone service. From my recent experience filing a claim, it has been nothing short of a scam. Instead of sending me a replacement device that works, they charged my credit card $672, $112 for service (which is fine), $560 for the phone that they sell for $392 taxes in, send me one defective phone, one phone locked to another carrier, and now they refuse to refund my $560 even if I return their two devices, and now refuses to take any further actions. I guess they're happy to dump two used and defective phones for $560 on me.

In more detail:
I filed a claim under the Geek Squad cell phone coverage almost two months ago on September 17th. Since then, all I have is Best Buy charging my credit card for $672 for service ($112 of it) and deposit on the phone that they sent out. The first phone they sent out was a defective used phone. Second one is a used phone that's locked to another carrier. At this point, Best Buy refused to take any further action, and told me to unlock the phone myself, which isn't possible unless I jailbreak it, which sin't ideal at all. They also wouldn't assist in jail breaking it in anyway. They kept on lying to me that the carrier, Fido, can unlock it for me, even though it's not a Fido phone. I confirmed with Fido that Fido cannot, and Geek Squad just refused to speak to me or even review my proof until I complained through BBB. When I asked for a refund of my $672 they charged on September 17th they refused - the only way they would give me even just a partial refund of $560 is if I return my own device that is partially broken along with the first device that they sent out, and I keep the device that's locked to another carrier. When I complained that I won't be sending the only phone that still has a call and text function remaining (my original phone), they said it's their policy and my problem. I'm now going through BBB, but this isn't getting me anywhere as they are just trying to waste my time, schedule call backs that they don't honor, and now I probably have to sue them for this little thing.

They also lied to me about whether I even called them and talked to tech support or not. I've talked to a tech on Oct 8th, who confirmed that Fido cannot unlock phones from other carriers and that the tech will recommend Geek Squad to send me a third phone. After that, a Geek Squad agent called me on Oct 12th to let me know that she is reversing the decision to send me a third phone, since I never talked to a tech. I said that's ridiculous since it was the tech who made the recommendation. She said that's not possible since there was no record that I spoke with the tech at all on Oct 8th. She was also the one that started the lie that Fido can unlock any phone that's not locked to their network and kept up the lie. I believe she started the chain of sort of "black listing" me so that for the next 3 weeks, any request to speak to anyone that can help has been blocked. It was only after my complaint through BBB that someone reached out to me, but only to tell me again that they won't issue a refund without me sending the only device that is even remotely functioning, and that I now have to authorize another hold on my account even for them to send a 3rd phone out. I offered to return the first two phones they sent back to get a refund, and that was again rejected!

While having most of what you need, I find this Best Buy smaller then most, and thus it seems to have less stuff.

Pros:
1) Convenient location: Being in the middle of downtown, it's accessible for most after a long day at work
2) Popular selection: While small, it uses the space wisely and will most likely have the one hot new thing you want (though not always. See below)
3) Good price ranges: Whether you want the latest and greatest (and most expensive) or the reliable budget conscious items, you will have a good choice here

3 cons
1) Specific items missing: No Pixelbooks or Chromebooks. Little to no toys, computer monitors, or luggage. Sometimes the specific thing you want just isn't there. This a direct result of the physical size of store being small. It also makes it hard to compare when you only have a limit few things. Check online first to see if it's here.
2) Helpful but "Shy" staff: While nice and helpful when engaged, if you don't physically go over and grab them, you don't exist. Some may like that but I like it when I got questions and someone is already there to answer. Maha them look attentive. Also, some are helpful but give the impression they don't want to be there.
3) Videogame section getting smaller: I get it. We live in a digital world. And this is no big deal if you ain't into VGs. But I like having the physical copy and I like getting games a bit cheaper used. On last visit, the used Videogame section was gone, and XBox section was limited to one side of shelf.

Overall, a good Best Buy that gives me what I want but it still feels lacking when I want something that maybe isn't that popular or new.

I went in and purchased headphones at 12.99 regular price for the partner, the next day I figured I should get a pair of headphones for myself and they were suddenly 17.99.even though I had a receipt saying less than 12 hours ago I had paid 12.99, I inquired whether I'd be able to get the same price and the staff member laughed and said, "no you should have purchased them yesterday". As of now i will not go into Best buy because I would rather spend more elsewhere then go back and be treated like that again.
