Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel

We’ve stayed a few times but this last time the service was lovely.
We checked in with 2 young kids after driving through some snow at night time and were greeted with a hot chocolate machine and cookies.
Given a nice quiet area with a couple hockey teams staying there. The halls were quiet at a decent time.
Breakfast in the morning was in a clean area with lots of options.
Checkout was smooth and friendly.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western plus while passing through. The hotel was very clean and modern. Check in was very fast with helpful information on everything in the hotel. We lucked out and had the pool to our selves.

Haven't stayed here yet, but it's fantastically clean and the staff are amazing; life savers even.

I will remember this place.

Our family unexpectedly needed to spend a night in Merritt on July 27 due to car problems. We were kindly fit in and they found the best room to accommodate the 4 of us. The service was friendly, breakfast was great and they allowed us late check out while we waited for our car repairs. So appreciated. Thank you!

Excellent breakfast buffet. Very clean with updated decor. Comfy bed. Will stay there again.

Advice from locals was that this is probably the best hotel in Merritt, and that checks out. The room with balcony and king bed was well laid out, with clean and comfortable bathroom, and carefully selected good views despite adjacent buildings. The included breakfast was way better than we expected. Didn't get to see the gym and pool, but for three dirty festival goers seeking a shower and a good sleep, this was such a nice treat.

Stayed here with my kids. It was fabolous. Room new and lovely we were room 422.bed was so comfy same as the pillows. Equipt with more then enough pillows and towels in the room. Good parking. Free too. Swimming pool clean and lots of towels. Breakfast way better then expected. Had lots of fresh fruit and many options.this is now our go to when we stay in merritt.

Only thing you can hear the semis.we are not light sleepers so it was fine.if you are ask for the front of building not back.

Stopped here on the way home to vancouver was sooo impressed with how clean the rooms were, breakfast was so tasty too

The hotel is very welcoming, clean, and calm. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Particularly, Assistant Manager Danica was incredibly helpful and accommodating when my travel plans suddenly got cancelled (due to road conditions) and I had to scramble to find alternatives for getting to Vancouver.

Lol this hotel does not offer "free breakfast" as they advertise. It's a blatant lie. I stayed here for two nights, and on both mornings, during peak breakfast hours (i.e. Not close to breakfast opening or closing times), the food stations were EMPTY. So many families and kids looked at the empty stations and just walked away. One gentleman even told me he waited around for half an hour and nobody restocked the breakfast items. Even the thermos bottles containing coffee were empty. Clearly all of this was intentional. Do not give these scumbags your money.

We enjoyed staying at The Western Merritt Hotel. The room was nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered multiple choices. It was nice to have access to a coffee machine all day long. Let not forget to mention a shoot out for the friendly service to the front desk, housekeeping and banquet staff.

The overall experience at this Best Western was excellent. The room was nice and tidy, the front desk attendants were helpful and kind, the breakfast was great and the location is super convenient as well.

BW Merritt is probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast, and Danica at the front desk was especially helpful. I would recommend this as THE place to stay in Merritt - I know that when we're back in BC, this is where we'll be staying.

I went to the BW and during breakfast I witnessed one of the staff members cleaning the counters, she then put her BARE HANDS into the sausages, milling around and rearranging them. She then took her bare hands again and was touching the toast. I told the front desk, who did nothing about this. I would avoid going here for the sake of your health.

Very clean and organized. Hotel was built in 2018 and looks brand new. Opposite was a food court and surrounding has many gas stations and restaurants.

Our car was at the radiator shop after it broke down on route to Kelowna so we decided to get accommodations at the Best Western becasue we had stayed there 3 times last summer. We were only into our stay about 4 hours when our babysitter bailed on us and we made the quick choice to jump on the ebus across the street. When I went to the front desk to explain the situation we were met with a rude employee who she said she could not give us partial payment back even though we did not use any facilities. It would have been compassionate if this hotel would of helped us in our unfortunate circumstance but they only care about making money and gouging customers.
