Best Western Plus Mission City Lodge

The room was spacious but quite old feeling. The pictures they show online are of the new part of the hotel but they put us in the old part. The stay wasn’t bad but nothing amazing. Around 11 at night the area turns a little sketchy and I was concerned about my vehicle but it was fine the next morning.

Great rooms, clean. So appreciated being able to bring our dog. Breakfast was amazing. Great experience. Excellent people too.

I was met with hostility and stared dowb by staff treated like scum for no reason almost racist towards me i had the cash the credit card he said he banned me 3 years ago ive never lived in this city. Please stop the racism then i brought in mother and he was all apologizes please dont assume thing when you come to this country and run a business. My cousin and his family had to sleep in their truck with their kids because of this dude. Oh yeah i thought he was i was band list like we played intruments i was so lost im scared to ask anyone for help this world has become scary. Its BAN list not band list lmao gagagaggaga english 101

They had kitchenette which was of no use for us as we just stayed for the night. Not many options for breakfast. Other than that, room was good.

Nice new hotel. Comfy beds and staff are warm and welcoming. Plenty of stores and restaurants within minutes of the hotel.

King suite.there was a blunt on the balcony. I paid a 250 deposit with emphasis on no smoking. If I didn't find it and chuck it off, I'd be paying 250. If a maid does an actual round. The room is OK, the desk is OK. They don't have glass anything. Ran to the dollar store for wine glasses. The pool is a pool, nothing fancy. If this is plus, what's the Best Western? Restaurant closed. No room service or food available in house. Just not great.

I checked in motel 29 jan 2023 2pm but half an hour right back I checked out because really bad smell noxious.i would preferred do not reserve this motel

This hotel is currently undergoing some much needed renovations. The rooms and common areas are in need of uddating. Very friendly breakfast service.

Online it says 130$ a night.
Called and was 169$
Got here at 2 they said check in is at 3 can pay a extra 25$ to go in early. Lame

I stayed here for 3 nights for a community event. The overall experience was okay. However, the employees working in the breakfast area were rude and disrespectful. They were often ordering the customers what to do in an impolite manner. I witnessed even children being communicated this way. However, the room service, the front desk and so on were decent.

This hotel is in a great location for my needs and I have stayed there before. The staff is friendly and the breakfast bar ladies and helpful and very nice. I booked a king bed and when I checked in, the bed was wonky (lower at head and higher at feet), we asked to change rooms and were told they didn't have any other king beds. This was at 3: 10pm and check-in is 3: 00pm. They offered a double queen bed. We moved and I noticed a bit of an unpleasant smell but opened the window and hoped it would clear. When we returned from our event the smell was back and we could not get rid of it. It was very late and although they offered to move us to another room (why didn't they give us that room to start out with) we decided it was too late to have to relocate. When I talked about the problems when we checked out I was told that because I was on the Government rate they could not offer a discount or any points to compensate for the poor experience. I was very disappointed with this stay at the Mission Best Western. This is a surprise because I have stayed there before and not had problems with the rooms.

Front counter check in was good. Breakfast was average though breakfast room staff were pleasant. I was travelling for work with a large commercial vehicle. Previous overnight here I was granted permission by service oriented staff to park near the front door where it was level and safe. This trip an overzealous supervisor refused common sense. Even though I parked in the area directed by the front counter staff, the most level and lit I could find, but a supervisor, Lei, stopped me walking through the parking lot and said I had to move to an area that was not safe. The reasons for the move made no sense, and the supervisor refused to listen to and consider my concerns. The supervisor was so rude and obnoxious, I was approached later by staff who apologized for the behaviour of the supervisor. Next trip, I will stay in a hotel in Abbotsford.

The hotel is ok but the WiFi is super slow. Download/Upload are both around 2~3Mbps. (We are here for our son's hockey tournament but was planning to get some work done. Seems that needs to be reconsidered.)

Stayed last night, very shabby.
This has become a crackshack style hotel, dirty, dumpy, moldy bathroom, ratty bedding.it's a dump.
Wasn't safe in the parking lot either.
Take a strong suggestion before you stay here.don't!
Drive 20 minutes to Abbotsford and you can get a decent place for the same money, or less.
Super-nice front desk clerk.
