Best Western Plus Valemount Inn & Suites

Excellent all round hotel. Only lost one star for a small bathroom in the queen double room.

Pros: Rooms were clean. Extra room towels were available on request. Morning complimentary breakfast was generally good. Scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and ham were available. The bacon could have been cooked more for my liking though. Also available was Waffles and cereals. The Location of the hotel made it convenient as its situated right behind Valemounts rentable Cabins. So if you have people in the Cabins the hotel is an easy walk to most of the Cabins.

Cons: Rooms were small, which didn't leave any room for just "hanging out" if you wanted to get away from family for a bit. Hotel is a ways out of town which makes it a challenge if you need to drunk walk home, as there is no actual walking trail along the highway to get to the hotel.

The outdoor patio area looks like it would be beautiful to sit outside in the summer. Unfortunately on my visit it was cool and it was not set up yet.

Best Western Plus hotels all provide such consistently good service. While I didn't have the opportunity to visit the pool on this visit, I was happy to see the lodge aesthetic carried forward into the room design. I'm always happy to see included breakfast, and the option to pack yourself a boxed breakfast (after 6am) is much appreciated by those of us on field programs!

I didn't stay at BW, but I went there for food and drinks. The food tasted amazing, the drinks were awesome and most important of all, the staff were super friendly and nice. A+ service.

Was dissipointed that the drapes were see through, and no dark window covering for the light blaring in the windows. Lack of TV channels was also dissapointing considering the price of a room.

Amazing place and gorgeous mind-blowing decor and comfort.

Mine was a base rate room I do recall.

The resteraunt was good, a tad over priced but good.

The rest of the facilities were GREAT!

Parking lot is kinda small considering all the idiots with their trailers that park in there, and it's still a few minuts out of town in case you had wanted to do anything there or had been walking.

But otherwise, perfect. LOVVVE the coffee bar area set up. Super convenient and a very nice touch

You know what, that was a really nice sleep in a well managed chain hotel. Well priced and looked after, Maintenence even in winter is good.

This team is great, very accommodating and helpful with all your needs. Room layouts are very nice for us sledders and the hot breakfast in the morning is top notch. Best Hotel in town!

We always stay at this hotel when driving home from Vanc Island. It’s clean, comfortable & friendly. There’s beautiful walking trails in a marsh conservation area that the hotel backs onto (pet-friendly - as is the hotel). For the price, it’s very reasonable. Not fancy, but not what we’re going for when just stopping for the night - just clean & comfy. One time we stayed at another hotel in town as BW price was much higher, so as long as they keep the price point comparable, we’ll keep coming. I like that the pet friendly rooms have vinyl plank flooring. We stayed in a queen suite last time based on availability & not having our dog, which was carpeted - I always wonder what’s hiding in hotel room carpets. The suite was otherwise pretty good. Spacious, with a deck to the back facing trees & nature.

Really comfortable beds, nice food at the restaurant with a great view for buffet breakfast and a great dinner out in the dining room/sitting area. The free tea and coffee facilities were a nice bonus!

We've stayed here a few times over the years as it's a good halfway point to visit family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are pros and cons to our last stay. We are a senior couple and having a room on the first floor just down from the pool is a definite no. Very noisy hallways until late at night. A quieter room would be preferred. The included breakfast is a great perk but not so much if you have to leave before it starts. This Best Western is later than most with a 6: 30 am start, most of the BW's we stay at start at 6 which would have worked. The pro - we were offered a "continental" breakfast to go. Fruit, yogurt and a muffin was mentioned in the offer which sounded perfect. The con - we didn't check the bag until on the road. No spoon for the fruit cup and yogurt and a kid's granola bar that left much to desire. No muffin, no adult style granola bar like they serve at the breakfast available. We ended up waiting until we could find something to eat several hours down the road! We do love the new coffee set up in the lobby - awesome machine!

Very nice free breakfast. Upgraded to a spacious room. Nice common area/lobby area.
Visiting Jasper national Park each day so it a ride, but, great views along it.

Nice chain hotel located just South of town. Not much around it store-wise but does have nice trail next to it (Cranberry Marsh Trail). Service and price standard for franchise, rooms were nice. Highlight was full breakfast included in stay.

Dog friendly which was awesome, the rooms smell like fresh roses, everything was super clean and beautiful patio area! Broccoli in the scrambled eggs was a little strange but other wise amazing weekend!

The staff was incredible, the food was excellent, the hotel was very clean. I hope the company can supply more staff for the staff that is already there, they work extremely hard!

Front desk personnel were very friendly. Hotel room was very clean. Had the Artic Char dinner from the restaurant and it was excellent!
