Guy came to the rescue with our hood fan! It took us some time to find someone to repair brand we got. Guy checked out the hood fan, identified the problem quickly. Once the parts arrived, I was able to make an appointment within the week and guy arrived early to our appointment and fixed it! He was also able to do some quick fixes to enhance the efficiency of our hood fan. Will definitely use them again!

I have a Miele Ventless dryer that needed a belt replaced.
Guy came and fixed the dryer today after the previous company ghosted me.
Guy was professional and skilled.
Would definitely recommend and use again.

Mark was our technician, was great! Very friendly, communication was great and worked hard to resolve our problem without huge costs. Fixed the problem. Will ask for him again

Very poor overall service. How do they even get those 5 star reviews? This more reminded me of a scam scheme!
1. Poor work quality, they disassemble then later they force screws in with the electric driver without understanding that the panel is not properly put in place - damage to the appliance.
2. They spent an hour and told me everything is OKay but the dishwasher still leaks the same way even in front of them. Eventually the guy says he does not know and maybe it's from the seal. Then they say that the seal costs 100$ while when I checked the factory website it was really 45$. Go figure!
3. They advertise if they cannot solve it on the first visit they will deduct the cost from the second visit - sounds good until they bill you and you see that the second visit on paper is twice as expensive, so they still get the cost of the visit). Fraud?
4. Check your bill carefully, you may get some amounts billed twice and have to hang with them on the phone to get it fixed.

Maybe your experience will be better - good luck!

I have used Better Care to service my appliances for 5 years and they have always done a good job and been honest with me about what they can and cannot do and how much things will cost. I have been most impressed, however, with Guy who I have had the pleasure of working with in the last few months. Guy serviced 2 washing machines, 2 dryers and, with another repairman, also took care of my 2 stoves. He was very efficient, honest and knowledgeable. He was also quick to put in orders for new parts as he knew that I needed my dryers quickly. I would recommend him to anyone that needs repair of their major appliances, he knows what he is doing! Don came and repaired my Electrolux Icon fridge. He did a fantastic job replacing the fridge’s evaporator coil and gas filter. Don was thorough, knowledgeable and efficient.

Will be recommending Better Care to anyone I know with appliances issues.

Tech came out assessed the need for a new switch for the oven-stated it would need a new part charged the fee for assessment never to been seen or heard from again-no follow up despite repeated phone calls-stay away -sounds like a scam?

We have a Samsung Dual Fuel Range which was covered by an extended 5 yr warranty with Comerco. For about the last year, the oven's temperature modes have been inaccurate and untrustworthy. Under the warranty arrangements 2 previous service companies were unable to resolve the issues. Commerce sent us Better Care Alliance Repair with Don their technician. The mother boards, control panels, a fan and sensors were finally replaced. Don remained courteous, patient, competent and respectful throughout. We are happy to report a successful outcome. We are hoping to get many more years from our range We are not sure we can recommend this Samsung range but we can give high marks to Better Care and their man, Don!

I had Eli coming to fix our Sub-Zero fridge and ultraline / Viking oven.

On the sub zero fridge he had replaced and rebuilt the entire seal system and did a very good job. I was impressed in any way by the knowledge and his professionalism.

Eli was on time, well organized and very polite.

I would recommend Better Care appliances to friends and family for any appliance needs.

TERRIBLE. OVERCHARGED ELDERLY PARENTS 3x COST FOR PARTS.

My parents used Better Care for a refrigerator repair. The technician appeared to be extremely inexperienced, looking at videos online and calling someone else to diagnose the issue. After multiple visits, the parts were finally installed. However, upon completion and billing, we looked up the cost of the parts online using information on the packaging brought by the company and discovered that they were charged ~3x the cost for the part itself. This is a service company that should charge for labour (not overcharge for the parts). The company even stated in email that all parts are charged AT COST (meaning cost to buy the original goods), but clearly this is not the case.

There was no way that my elderly parents could have researched this cost beforehand as the description provided by the technician was fairly vague (we were only able to research afterwards using the details on the packaging).

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They have taken advantage of my elderly parents. The company is called Better Care but based on our interactions with them during the installation and after to discuss this issue, they are clearly not interested in customer care. They only care about ripping you off to make money.

Called better care and they are exactly as the reviews say. Easy communication, fast service and Pablo and the team took great care of me and my broken washing machine. He ordered the parts and by the next business day it was repaired. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Terrible company to do business with. Despite telling my parents that the replacement item was going to be AT COST, they charged us almost 3x premium on what the manufacturers were selling for the replacement part (easily verified by the box). Scroll down to the bottom to see updates.

Example:

Circulation Fan cost from Better Care Appliance: $785.50
Circulation Fan cost from Bosch: $272.94

It also took them MULTIPLE visits to understand what was wrong with the freezer, and then the "director" had the audacity to say that we didn't pay WHEN the problem was not fixed. We have receipt proof of all of the payments, and seems to be uneducated in running a business.

The company wanted us to pay IN FULL for something that did not fix the issue at hand, and called us disrespectful for not paying for the problem that was not fixed.

I would highly recommend going with a different company (the director of this company seems to think it's a better idea as well given his response to me), OR if you do decide to move forward with this company, make sure you look at their invoice to ensure they're not ripping you off. ASK FOR THE ITEM NUMBER and cross reference before paying this company anything.

At the present moment, the company still has not provided the original invoice for the parts, despite being asked multiple times, and the director mentioning that it was "at cost". Research shows otherwise.

UPDATE: Director of the business just stated that "We have the right to resell the parts at our cost". Do not deal with this business, as there is a lack of transparency and ethics. Clearly violated the BC Business Practice and Consumer Protection Act (deceiving or misleading a consumer) and we have email proof via interaction with the "director" of the company. We'll be looking to seek resolution from a Third Party Mediator.

Literal definition of at cost is: at cost price; without profit to the seller.

Terrible service, no one responds.
I have been waiting weeks for estimates, parts and follow ups.
Although I did receive a message from Hadasa that a response will be given in 24 hours.which has now passed.

Not recommend poor practises and bad customer service.

Highly recommended! Alex & Ron helped us with our Decor fridge compressor / sealed system rebuilt.

I was impressed by the knowledge he had, and the work quality they provided, the repair was major and they made sure the space was left clean.

Well organized team! That I will reply recommend.

I reached out to Better Care at 9: 30 AM and I received a response just over an hour later. Pablo was at our office that day by 12 PM. I couldn't believe how quick this service was and the customer service was outstanding. We are still waiting on a quote but so far their service has been amazing and I would definitely recommend. Pablo was the tech who came to our office and he was extremely friendly and clear about what the next steps would be.

The technician showed up and told me my fridge compressor is broken. He told me he will send me quotes for repair as well as replacement. But he never sent any information….

I had a complicated repair that needed to be completed on my oven. Don did an excellent job for me and was most professional and courteous throughout this work. My oven works perfectly now.
