Charged me $30 (plus $29.99 for the part) for five minutes of work to replace my front brake pads. I was forced to pay this or else they wouldn’t have certified my bike for a duathlon race the next day. Total highway robbery to pay $62 for those brakes. Wouldn’t give these crooks the time of day.

Great customer service and fast to fix up my bike. Dropped it off in the am and had it back in the afternoon, appreciate the knowledgeable staff, Will be back again.

Worst customer care I have seen. I called specialized Canada about my problem and the lack of customer care at BSP and they sent me to caps. Much better SERVICE AND EXPERTISE there!

While on vacation from another province I had my e-bike stolen. BSP had great inventory to choose from and was able to put my chosen bike together within a few hours and I was on my way again. Great service!

I want to say a great job to Bikes Sports Pacific in Langley! They were amazing to deal with and supported me in fixing my Trek bike. Amazing knowledge from Brian with completing the repair. Also grateful for Milan and his patience and commitment to getting my bike repaired.

Johnathan was such a great help today! I purchased my first bike in 15 years and he made it easy! He listened to everything I was looking for and found me the perfect bike. He wasn’t pushy at all and was very knowledgeable. When he hit a question he didn’t have the answer to he didn’t fake it, he made a point of finding us the correct answer. I’m very thankful that he made everything so easy and the tech (I’m sorry that I didn’t catch his name) that adjusted the bike and installed the new seat and kickstand was fantastic too! Thank you BSP for all your help today! I would highly recommend this bike shop!

The customer service is the best at Bicycle Sports Pacific Langley. The team is knowledgeable and certainly was interested in my cycling needs/requirements. I really did feel respected. The conversations led to a purchase of a new bike, shoes, clips and a GPS!

What I liked most was the conversation that addressed pros and cons of different bikes and products. This helped me make the best decision. I suggest if you are looking for quality service to go this bike shop.

Very poor customer service, had arranged a date and time to try an E-Bike. Bike wasn’t ready, claimed they didn’t have my number to call me back. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Horrible experience. They had my bike for a month and the work was never even started. The only way I found out was when I actually called to find out the progress of my bike. When I came to pick up the bike the manager just handed me my bike and didn’t even say a word. No explanation or reason. I get it’s pandemic time, but at least have the decency to explain and apologize. A simple phone call would have fixed this situation. I was even told by another employee to take it to another shop. This place used to be awesome but the two times I have been there have shown me otherwise. If you don’t have the part or the time, just say so. I would give this review a zero if I could.

Brought my double track rim in to be laced to a Shimano hub back in May 2020 and I've called once in June or July and told me they were really busy so it'd be done in a week. Haven't heard back from them at all.

Worst customer service experience in this senior citizen's lifetime!

October 15,2020 - I wished to have two IGH wheels built. The BSP website pop-up offered "Questions? Please fill in below and we'll get back to you ASAP". I used that contact form to send a query to BSP on or about October 15,2020. I have copied my query below.

"Hello. I need to build two (2) rear wheels. The Alfine S7001 8-Speed Disc Brake Rear Hub that you folks sell is my preferred hub. I researched this hub thoroughly, but I need to confirm some assumptions before committing. Can you steer me to your most knowledgeable Shimano IGH person? I hope I can quickly resolve my IGH questions so we can work-out the details of the wheels build. Thanks"

October 22,2020 - No reply received to my contact form query. So, on this date, I repeated my query via email to the Langley, BC, store.

October 30,2020 - Me having received no replies, my wife telephoned the Langley store to determine if my email had been received. An employee put down the phone for a few moments, purportedly to check. He returned to advise they had received my email message, apologized for the delay, and promised a quick reply.

November 05,2020 - Having heard nothing, I emailed the admin office of BSP to ask that my query be answered. I received a same day reply from Kamlesh stating, "We will look into this for you and let you know what's going on. "

November 11,2020 - Contrary to the promise, no one had let me know what was going on. I emailed Kamlesh asking for an update. I received a same day reply, "Thanks for this, I will check with them in the morning. "

November 19,2020 - Nothing further from BSP.

I can't be certain whether this poor customer service is rooted in incompetence or indifference. Regardless, BSP is NOT RECOMMENDED.

This was initially going to be a 1 star review. However Jordan and Eddie saved it. Misinformation was given to me regarding dropping off my bike to get tubeless tires installed.

I was told to drop off on a Friday by the manager over the phone. When I showed up he gestured to the unlit shop, which he then explained "well the shops closed today". He told me to come back Sunday and that it would take at least a day for a tubeless install. No problem. Return Sunday at 1pm and Jordan who was manning the front end told me oh yeah we can do it but we're closed Monday so you won't have it until Wednesday. Finally Eddie the mechanic actually looked at my bike and we found out my wheels aren't actually tubeless compatible. I was about to walk away from the whole thing with the amount of misinformation and back and forth just to get my tires installed. Eddie said since its not tubeless they could have it done in an hour. Jordan kindly hooked my bike up, installed my tires and I had it back quickly.

Basically it depends who you get here, Jordan was a star with his customer service (especially being on his own and the phone ringing off the hook). Eddie was courteous and understanding of the frustration I was having and took the time to explain things thoroughly without any condescension regarding the tubeless compatibility issue.

I have probably spent in excess of $10k here. Since the shop was sold the service is awful. Had a new bike that was within its free adjustment period and was asked to pay for a gear adjustment. Service times are awful. There are huge gaps in inventory even prior to COVID. Go to a Trek srote or MEC instead for your Trek and Cannondale needs

Went online to purchase a bike but something went wrong. Ended up going into the store and had it sorted out quickly. Bike was put together the same day. Husband is very happy. These guys work very hard especially during Covid

Came in for an estimate to get my bike serviced i had and issue with the Front derailleur and it needed to be fixed as well as new pedals. So one of the technicians just looked at the bike for not even 2 minutes and diagnosed the bike to need a new derailleur, new chain, new and a silver service package with grand total cost of $300.the bikes not even worth that much.

So I took it to Sport Check and one other bike shop they both took their time to look at the bike. They both said the Derailleur needs an adjustment and new pedals the chain needed some grease and otherwise I was ok. I requested them to both quote me on the high side and they both came $90 because the bike was not a top quality bike (which i knew before purchasing) it made it cheap to repair!

Very unimpressed with customer service and trying to rip me off!

I would rather go to this location than the one in North Van. Great service and found the bike I wanted in my size! Tony, you are awesome. He assembled my bike really quick, and I got to take it home on the same day! I will be a returning customer.

I wanted to really like BSP and support a local bike store but I had a pretty terrible online and in-store experience. They did not contact me to let me know my Trek FX 3 bike had arrived in store for four weeks and only informed me when I called in to ask.

When I went to pick up the bike at BSP Langley, it wasn't busy at all in the store but the rep that was helping me at Langley barely deigned to answer my questions even though I had just made a big purchase plus picked out new accessories. He was too cool to answer my questions about which accessories matched and didn't want to sell me on anything.

My bike also came with tires that had sand/dust all around it so I don't know if they had been using it as a show bike for other customers. I know the Trek official store in Coquitlam was taking that very seriously and would not let customers try bikes that were already purchased.

I do not recommend this store or BSP.
