Big O Tires

Called to get an estimate for battery change. Got a price around 250$. When asked to check the cost for other specific type of battery (AGM) was literally sent to a dealer instead and was told that "we don't want to deal with it". What a strange way of doing business. Not a place I would recommend to any of my friends.

My tires were skidding this morning so I called Big O. Tina was very friendly and helpful. Instead of spending $1200 on a set of new tires, Tina found me a set of lightly used tires for only $400 including installation. The team was fast and had my set of tires installed in 20 minutes, before I could finish my match latte at Waves. The tires look beautiful and it was such an easy process. Highly recommend!

Was able to get my car in without an appointment that day, came in to make one incase they did not have accomodations that day, they were able to take my car in, on top of that, it was a de-mount and mount and balance set, i figured it would be a few hours, within an hour they called me to let me know my car was almost done, all the staff from the front-back and beginning to end were very helpful and friendly. Great people! Thank you!

This shop is one of the only places that I find "customer service" is still alive. Great people. Great shop. Great service.

Ordered new tires online on their website and they got back to me fast to confirm my service. Dropped the car off and the tires were changed in less than 30 minutes. Fast and nice service. They also told me how to get my rebate for my tires.

Disappointed, I had a squeal in my back tires I was informed my brakes needed replaced. Why wasn’t I told this when they were changed over a few weeks earlier? I paid out $500 plus labour? I’m not a happy man.

These guys are absolutely amazing! I popped a tire today. Another tire shop put a used tire on for me so I could make it to Big O where I store my tires. Normally it takes a couple days to get an appointment because they have to pull my tires out of storage in the wearhouse and it's a big pain. Tina came though for me and said if I brought my Van in they'd put the tires on for me today. They found my tires by the time I got there. They immediately got to work on my car and had me in and out in 20 minutes. These guys are so great. They saved my bacon today.

Brian has serviced my GMC Sierra in the past and recently I got to experience the teamwork and diligence of Brian and Tina. Customer service is exceptional and they are prompt and working well before the average guy wakes up. I highly recommend this shop as they know there skill levels and work hard to make the customer happy.

Came to replace the brakes on my ‘17 Tacoma. Toyota quoted me $400 higher and said I should replace both front and rear. John called me to say my rear still had 50% life on my shoes and saved me the cost of unneeded replacement.

In addition my tread was low and I’ve been wanting some MTZ’s, he had some used ones one size up that fit perfect, (cheaper than any I found on marketplace) The best part is the the price still came under his original quote for all brakes to be changed.

Very happy with the service, I will be returning and recommending.

These people are very nice, really! Competitive price (I got used tyres), friendly & speedy service (walked in and out well within 20 mins!). They even bought be a nice clean chair to sit on while I waited as we can’t wait inside anymore due to covid. Thank you Big O Tires!:)

Was able to book an appointment for the next business day to replace both rear tires, which worked out great.
Total cost ended up being a bit more than initially quoted, as they had taken the initiative to rotate the tires as well which is fine, but I would have liked to been notified or made aware of this before the work was done.
All in all fairly happy.

Not sure how a company service culture can change so much over a span of a couple of years. I had brought my tires in for the free rotation and balance, and this lady at the front counter was pretty non-chalant and aloof and somewhat rude when addressing me. And when I asked the owner brian a question, he didn't even look at me and gave me a sort of "don't bother me" attitude. But the funny thing is, when other customers walked in, maybe he knew them personally (but I doubt it), he was so friendly with them.really poor customer service.
Now I get my tires from Costco, no hassle service.the employees all work for Costco, not some aloof owner.

I recently brought in my 1998 Toyota tercel to big o tire this week. They performed a thorough inspection of the vehicles safety as I had just purchased it. They told me in detail what the vehicle needed and what it didn’t need. They went on to do an immaculate tune up. Did my brakes and my clutch and found me a used set of wheels and tires. The vehicle drives better then I could imagine and it came with an affordable price. Being a Buisness owner myself a friendly staff and customer service is key. Big o tire exceeded my expectations. I have been to every tire shop in Vancouver and big o far surpasses any tire shop in the lower mainland. I will continue to use big o tire for all my automotive needs. HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing tire purchasing experience with Bryan (the owner) I tried everywhere before this place and was referred by a colleague of mine and never will I go else where for tire. Not only did Bryan and his team went above an beyond by telling me my rims were cracked and that my shock was leaking oil, things I would have not known until it was either too late. Now I know exactly what I need done and have awesome tires for a great price. Michelin sport 3+ and Michelin sport 4 all wheel tires are sensational wouldn't recommend any other tire

Bryan at Big O has gone above and beyond. He is honest, communicative and a pleasure to speak with. I’ve bought tires and had flats fixed here. I would highly recommend them here!

Service was adequate; customer service lacking
Upon the referral of a friend whom I trusted, I went out of my way (I live in Langley) to utilize this shop. They have been storing my tires so I called last week to get them out of storage. The other day I was called in the morning to notify me that my tires were in the shop and they were ready to book an appointment for me. I simply asked if there were any cancellations for that same day as I was completely open. I knew it would be a long shot but worth a try. The employee (John) kind of laughed and admitted no they were booked up but then HE offered a very creative solution. That if I was willing to leave my car there for an hour or two, they could get to it between other booked in jobs. This would be a little give and take on both sides as I would have to find something to occupy the time but I figured I could make it work (plus I figured they probably wanted to get my tires out of their way). Not 5 minutes later the manager (Bryan) phoned me to, in no uncertain terms, let me know that he was not pleased. He said multiple times that in future I am to give them more notice in a very unsympathetic tone. I tried to explain both that a wonderful employee came up with this creative solution but he did not seem to hear this and repeated that I would have to give more notice in future. I was quite taken aback to be getting chastised for a service that was offered to me and not one I asked for, demanded, cajoled, or even considered prior to it's suggestion. I had been willing to wait and then stated this to this manager. He then told me they would change my tires but then stated not to come by until after lunch which was from 12-12: 30. This felt like it was offered begrudgingly and I did not feel valued. I arrived promptly at 12: 30 to get my tires to go. I get that it's a busy time for tire centers and I also get that WE are ALL going through a pandemic but.maybe just take 3 breaths before chastising a customer.

We called and spoke to Bryan mid morning and they offered 3pm time slot Same day for set of tires and front brake pads. He offered different options and price ranges. We dropped the car off early and they managed to get the job done before 3! They even called to offer other options to keep costs down in between. The car drives smooth, and we couldnt appreciate the ease in every transaction. Flawless. Thank you!

Bryan the main man there runs a great crew. I had a blow out on my front two tires on the vehicle pictured. Got the rims&tires together for that day and had it done in 2 hours!

Fast service. I called at 3: 15 on a Friday for a set of new tires I was previously quoted on (but now needed because another tire was going flat) 75 minutes after my call I was driving away on new tires. They picked them up from the warehouse and had the crew zip them on. A+ 5*. And the price was very fair.

Fast professional service at a very fair price. Went there to get 4 new tires for my 2014 Toyota Sienna. They ordered the tires I wanted and promptly contacted me when the tires arrived. Went there on Monday morning and there were 4 guys replacing my tires. It was like the Nascar pit crew, fast, professional employees.

Their prices are too high, more than double, and unfortunately I gave my car to them to fix a tire, but after just 1 day my tire lost its air again. They didnt fix the tire completely and charged me 60$ for nothing!

These guys are awesome. Came in for a problem, took the time to understand and solve the issue. Asked me to come back for a checkup as it was snowing that day and they couldn't get the opportunity to test drive and make sure that their professuonal eyes okayed the fix. I will definitely be using these guys again.

Honest people doing honest work. Hard to find a place like this in this day and age. Highly recommended this shop for all your tire, and mechanical needs.

I initially visited Big O tires when a family friend recommended me a quick but good job for a tire patch. I’ll forever go here and only here! Good prices, fast speed, and reliable care.

Just got a 4 wheel alignment and was told only an hour wait. The place was so busy and they made my vehicle feel like top priority which got me out of there before the hour.

I took my car to Big O Tires because I had a flat and it was close to my work. Unfortunately I did not have the unlock key for the wheel lock nut. The good thing about Big O Tires was that they were able to remove the lock nut and fix my flat for a 20 dollar charge. The bad part about this was they damaged all 4 of my wheels when removing the lock nuts. Now this damage is superficial but it's still disappointing. Had I known they were going to damage the wheel I would have declined this service. I appreciate that it helped me fix my flat without having to find the lock key but not at the cost of damaged wheels. At minimum it should be disclose that it will scratch up the wheel.

I had a bulge in one of my tires and needed a replacement asap, I requested a quote for tires online this morning and I received a response from John right away with a great price and he even got me in the same day. I was there early and greeted by Bryan and was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. It was the absolute best experience I have ever had, their customer service is impeccable. I would definitely recommend Big O Tires anytime and will 100% go back. Thanks for all of your help guys!

Been coming here every x years as needed, John has excellent customer service. The staff are quick and overall a great experience every time.

Came into Big O Tire for alignment because my van was drifting pretty hard to the left (so I thought the alignment was off).

They got the job done and mentioned they had to rotate my front tires.

Well, as I am driving the car around I noticed it was drifting hard to the right now. So it became pretty clear that I didnt have an alignment issue, I had an issue with one of my tires being unevenly worn causing my van to pull to the direction of the bad tire.

Now they rotated my tires because they knew one of the tires was causing the van to pull in that direction.

So I went back in and asked Bryan about it and he said that the tire was the issue. It would make sense to me that I didnt really need an alignment, I just need new tires.

So I basically wasted $130 today.

It would have been nice if Bryan and his crew were able to detect that the alignment wasn't the real issue, but the tire was the issue. Then I could have saved my $130 and just put that towards new tires instead in a few months. Even if they didnt detect that, it would have been nice if he offered a refund or a $130 credit towards new tires.

He said he would give me another free alignment if I bought tires in 30 days. Not really the answer I was looking for.

I gave them two stars because he did fix a rattling noise (loose shock in the back of the car) free of charge and I did appreciate that. But I feel like I basically spent $130 to fix the rattling noise since nothing else on the car was fixed: (

Absolutely the Best hands down.
I took a nail in the tire and they were able to get me back on the road in 15 minutes with new tires at a great price.

They are cheaters! They put cheap $83 tire I stead of $125. And I asked them to change the tire but they insisted $125 includes installation and balancing. I paid over for $400 labor charge for tire installation, wheel alignment and 2 ball joints replacing. They are not honest. I called them 2 days but they never change into right tire. I didn't want to pay $125 per a tire for only $83 tire.
This cheap tire feels like I driving on kid's tricycle. Very hard! It will ruin my suspension system and might have to fix ball joints again. If you going to buy from them, make sure to get exact quotation first including the brand of tire and model name.

Amazing. Wanted to spruce up my car with some new rims. John was amazing in helping to find the perfect solution and Tina and the whole team made everything easy. Rims came in faster than expected, and on budget. Literally couldn't ask for better. I'll be going back to them again and again. Great people and a great business.

After I damaged my car in Pemberton, I had to get it towed to Whistler. Was told by the mechanic in Whistler that I had to get my AC compressor replaced, with a quote for $1400 and one week turn around. I didn't want to leave my car in Whistler, so without AC, I drove my car back to the lower mainland.

I am SO GLAD I brought my car to Big O Tires. Turns out, my ac compressor didn't need replacing at all, just the AC belt. The whole thing ended up being less than a tenth of what the whistler shop quoted, and took all of one day. This was literally my best experience with a mechanic EVER. I'm so relieved!
