Best place to go for organic blue berries! This farm is very family friendly. My kids and myself always enjoy going there and spend the whole afternoon in the farm.
Great place to have a picnic. Chickens roaming free. Organic eggs. U-pick blueberries. They provide buckets for you. Honey. Lots of parking space. Great customer service. Takes cash and card.
We had an amazing time on the farm today. I knew this place was different when Bill told us the number one rule - 3 in your mouth and 1 in the bucket. Bill and his team are super generous and kind to their guests. He described it as guest retention and we’ll definitely be back. We came away with lovely berries, samples of honey and some plums from the tree. The roosters were a hoot too. Thanks so much Bill! See you again!
The farmer Bill is very nice. He introduced ducks and chickens to us. He also treated us to delicious plums and watermelons. It was a very good experience.
Bill is so nice that he showed us around, showed us the bees, the chickens and he gave us a small bottle of honey, which he made, as a gift, we had a great chat after blueberry picking and we did enjoy a good afternoon there, thanks Bill!
This place was absolutely amazing, not only for berry picking but for learning about the chickens and bees on the property! Bill gave us a nice lesson on one of the hives, even letting us try some fresh honey. It was over all a very fun experience for my friends and I. I bought some honey and the berries I picked, and they are both delicious.
Excellent! First time. Convenient setup made easy to start picking right away. Blueberries were tasty, all stayed firm until we ate every last bite. Even got a complimentary elephant garlic to take home.extra juicy w a subtle flavor. Thank you Billz for the experience!
Bill'z Beez don't advertise so please spread the word how great they are. You can eat whilst picking blueberries and pay for what you take away (min charge is so reasonable, less than $5). Plus they sell all sorts of other produce and honey. I was impressed by their selection of dried peppers (Ghost, Scorpion, Carolina Reapers, Habanero, Thai). The kids loved seeing the chicken coop. Great quality blueberries! We took the kids to Extreme Air trampolines across the road then had pizza at Monkey 9, followed by blueberry picking. Great farm, will recommend and return!
It's our second year coming to Bill for u-pick. Bill is super generous and friendly. When we got to the farm, he told us blueberries were free for all because it is running low. I thought it was a joke. After we picked, he didn't charge us. We got over 4 lbs of blueberries for FREE! He even gave us eggplants, 3 jars of honey and butternut squash for free. I only paid under $2 for the box of cherry tomatoes I bought. He invited us to go back again next week for more free blueberries? Also, it's no-spray.
Delicious blueberries, eggs, veggies and honey! Bill and his family are so generous and kind. It is lovely to see the work he does to protect the bees he rescues.
The owner is really friendly. You can eat as many as you want. We also eat some blackberry. The quality of the blue berry is also great! I will give 5 star for this farm!
Just went here with my girlfriend. We’ve been to the one out in Abbotsford in the past not knowing this one was available. The blueberries are very sweet and the staff there was absolutely incredible. Nicest staff we’ve ever met. Big shout to “Milu”. I will definitely be back here and recommend them to our friends and family.
Great place for u-pick blueberries! Bill is very kind and the blueberries are so good! The farm is very well kept which allowed for a great experience! Can’t wait to go pick more blueberries before the season is over.
Wow! What a great experience! The owners of this farm could not be any more welcoming and friendly. They encouraged tasting the blueberries while picking them (which we did a ton), and the blueberries were sweet and plump. The fields were pristine and very well taken care of. To top it off, I received two jars of fresh, beautifully golden honey. This place has definitely exceeded my expectations and I recommend everyone to come! While this is my very first visit, it will not be the last (with many more visitors to bring with me).
Bill is very friendly and generous to ask us to taste as many blueberries as we could during the U pick. Maybe it’s getting close to the end of the season, the blueberries are small and I was thinking to pick somewhere else. I’m glad I didn’t. Bill’s blueberries have a very unique floral flavor that I never tasted anywhere before. As much as I love the bursting sensation of big blueberries, I’m in love with the floral flavor of Bill’s blueberries. I definitely would come back and highly recommend this blueberry farm. U pick blueberries are $3/lb. I also got some fresh onions and honey. Can’t wait to try them.
Such a lovely place and what a friendly staff team. As we approached the ladies under the shade, one of them welcomed us and told us we can eat as many blueberries as we want when picking. Such a lovely move! There are more than 30 rows I believe so lots of place to search for blueberries. They were so delicious and on a bigger size than most places. Did I mention that they sell honey from their hives? Absolutely phenomenal product. It tastes very delicious.
Had an amazing time at this farm. It’s clean, parking is really big and the owner is super friendly and kind. He didn’t want us to pay as we only had 1lb, he offered us to take it for free which was really nice of him, we will definitely come back next summer️
What a charming little blueberry farm, quietly tucked away, right behind Watermania!
We got the first blueberries of the season, so the juice was sweet, fragrant and delicate. They have many beehives around, which makes for plenty of big blueberries! Got a big jar of wild blueberry honey, made from the bees on-site.
The farmers were knowledgeable and kind. My kids and I really enjoyed it. Next time, we will pick blueberries, then go to the pool to cool off.
Ps: bring your own bucket or buy theirs. They also sell farm fresh eggs ($10/doz.)
Bill came to my Neighbours' back yard today to remove a swarm of bees. It was a a great pleasure to learn about his trade and his farm, a very engaging and interesting gent! If your lucky enough to have a swarm of bees near you, call Bill!
We live in Vancouver and a swarm of bees showed up in our neighbours' yard. We called Bill and he came almost immediately to collect the swarm. He was brilliantly knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, and he collected the bees barehanded while regaling us with some pretty fantastic stories. Can't wait to check out his farm, which sounds like a real labour of love. If you ever have a swarm, call Bill!
I called Bill this morning to remove a swarm of honey bees I had found on our condo building. He was here within a couple of hours, collected the bees safely into a box and took them away to a new home on his blueberry farm. I was so thrilled to be able to call him and have them removed safely without being sprayed and killed. It was amazing to watch him collect them and I was in awe of how gentle they were. Bill was so friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend calling him first if you find yourself in a similar situation!
The bushes are still LOADED mid August. My daughter and I quickly picked 3 boxes (20lbs) in no time. This place is a hidden gem, just off the beaten path in South Richmond. Fresh eggs from free run chickens, a few fresh veggies and best of all is the honey. A small family operated place. We were especially lucky - Andrew gave us an impromptu but in-depth lesson about bees, that was fascinating! Both Bill and Andrew are passionate about their bees. Great place for families, kids, or a socially-distanced outing with close friends where you can talk and pick blueberries and easily stay 2m apart. We’ve been back 3 times in the past few weeks and freeze the berries.
My boyfriend and I had a great time picking blueberries here! They are super sweet:) The farm had COVID-19 precautions in place, where they provide pickers with buckets instead of using their own. They also provide you with a complimentary container to bring your blueberries home. At the farm, they also have bee hives (they sell honey) and chickens. The staff at this family owned farm is incredibly friendly and even gave us some free vegetables from their garden! Unfortunately, today is the last day for U pick but we look forward to visiting again next year.
The owner, Bill and his team are super friendly and always give us tips to get the best blueberries. It's my second year going to this farm and every time I go (already went twice this season!) the farm is always well maintained with LOTS of blueberries. Also got their honey - really good quality and well priced! I would definitely recommend visiting!:)
Their blueberries are small but super sweet! A family owned and operated farm, very well kept and maintained, the bushes are lush with fruit and, even better, is organic. The new additions of free run chickens is awesome. You can see the chickens running around the farm. You might be able to run into the owner, Bill, who’s more than happy to chat. The farm also sells local, organic honey. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with very little tourists.
P. S. There’s no plumbing but the farm has a porta-potty in case of emergencies.
We really enjoyed this blueberry farm! Blueberries weren't that ripe yet but works for us as we still have two boxes at home. The place was clean and easy to navigate and everyone was so friendly. We got some of their honey and it was delicious! Kids also loved seeing the bees, chickens and chicks! Will be back often I'm sure!
Today was our second time at Bill's and both times have been great. Nice neat rows of blueberries for u-pick with beehives strewn throughout the field. We even got to try a bit of wild honey! Highly recommended trip!
Great place to pick your own organic blueberries with your family. Grounds are clean and paths are not dusty. Still so many berries on the trees, and super sweet too. Owner Bill and staff are very friendly. They also have organic honey, free range eggs and veggies available. Have a porta-potty and a sink for handwashing. Highly recommended!
What is unique, which attracts me is that Bill doesn't use pesticide, nor chemical fertilizer. They have their own bees to pollinate the blueberries. This farm is truly organic!
We spent a great day at Billz Beez and Berry'z picking at the delicious blueberries, admiring their bee hives and greenhouses, and visiting with their new little chicks! A very wonderful family farm. We would definitely recommend this place. They provided us with their own containers due to COVID-19 precautions, and we could take the cardboard and clear plastic ones home with us free of charge (other places charge for these!). It is also great for families with small children to visit as it was well laid out and accessible for the little ones to run around and pick away!
Love this place! Tucked away behind Richmond Ice Centre and Planet Lazer on the north side of Triangle Road is this absolute gem of a farm. It features super full bushes of large and sweet blueberries, well maintained grounds, and very friendly staff (shoutout to Catherine and Nora!). We felt like we were picking berries at a family member's place! The berries are not sprayed with anything (bees in bee boxes around the farm are the keepers of the berries) and cost $2.50 per pound. They also offer vegetables from their gardens, honey from their bees, and eggs for sale. Overall, this was an amazing u-pick experience - would highly recommend visiting in the next ten days, as a staff member told us the blueberries will begin to soften afterwards.
