My go to place for threading! Bimla and staff always do an amazing job with my eyebrows and I get compliments on them all of the time! Highly recommend!

The worst salon ever. They don’t know how to cut neither men hair cut nor women. That old man who cut men’s hair is totally stupid and unable to understand one English word.he was cutting my hair depending on what he wants rather than what I like. Secondly, I released that they use the same capes and towel for all customers which is really serious issue.this way could be the easiest way for lice transfer between clients.obviously, there was no tool disinfectant nothing right in this salon. Don’t recommend this salon at all.

Things and their service is getting worse. The old lady who i guess is the owner is very impatient. I was sitting there and getting my face wax done but she was in so much hurry that she didn’t finished me yet and started another customer in middle. They are charging $25 for face and are unprofessional. She didn’t even asked for after wax cream and ran to machine to get money. After paying I checked my face in another mirror as the one i was earlier using was given to next customer. I asked her to clean my chin with thread but she was even not hearing. They closes at 7: 30 and she was in rush to attend all and get money.

I requested her to not wax by baby ears near to my ears. But she mistakenly did one side and didn’t even apologized for it. The old lady is like as soon as she is done with you she tries to kick customer out of salon so that no one complaints ask for repairs.

Poor and unprofessional service. Running for money only. The salon standard is getting low and bad.

Avoid this place.

It is the best salon. I always go there to get my eyebrows done. Ranjeet Kaur is very professional and provides friendly service to me. I recommend everyone to visit this salon.

I have been coming to Bimla’s since 2006. This was the first visit since Covid and I was so excited to go. Even though I’ve been going for so long, the owner didn’t seem to recognize me. Not a big deal, but I’m wondering if the reason she got wax in my hair (head) and left wax and tissue on my face was because she doesn’t see well. Eyebrows were threaded and look great, but I’m not happy about the wax in my hair. And the price has gone way up. I asked if waxing was the same price as threading and she said yes. But $22 is more than it used to be, and I stupidly gave a $3 tip. So for $25, I can go anywhere. No deal anymore. Learned my lesson, and unfortunately I won’t be so nice to the next salon because if you are nice, people take advantage of you.

Worst experience ever. I have been getting my upper lips and eyebrows waxed for 7 years now. Never have I got burned from steaming hot wax. So, unprofessional, inexperienced and irresponsible staff. Avoid this place at any cost seriously. You will find much cheaper options that won’t burn you atleast. Proof in the photos.

Terrible service and experience! I’ve been going to this place for over 2 years for eye brow threading and waxing services. My last visit was just horrible, the place gets super busy and the owner herself you did waxing and was rushing the entire time, she didn’t bother if the wax was super hot, so messy work. Somehow she managed to apply wax to my ponytail? ! And the hot wax ripped off my skin on face and underarms! Very understaffed, pathetic service and no professionalism whatsoever. Definitely not risking going back.

A cute little family business. I came in on a whim because I needed a haircut. The owner did my hair. She was really efficient, especially considering that I was a walk-in. I was in the chair within seconds of arriving and the whole experience must have taken less than 20 minutes. The cut is even and it's exactly what I asked for! She took off just the right amount to get rid of the death and keep the length! I love places like this because you're going to get the same great haircut that you would at a fancy salon but with half the time and half the price.

I have been coming here for years, great value, super fast, and I have never had an appointment or had to wait. It’s $30 for a FULL LEG WAX which is unheard of. There is definitely some double dipping action so I maybe wouldn’t get my lady bits done here (checkout foxy box) but it’s unbeatable in terms of value.

I went to cut my hair and the service was great. The price is reasonable but I got my hair cut quicker and to my expectation. After this I'm going there to have my haircuts.

Go only if you wanna do your eyebrows and upper lips. I went for a hair spa, and she didn't even blow dry it and charged 55$ for the PATHETIC service. Only bothered about other customers as they arrive for eyebrows/upper lips. Very unprofessional. I had gone there only cause it was very close to my house. Never going there again.

Think olde-school, neighborhood beautician feels. Affordable, definitely not fancy, but gets the job done!

If you are desi and are used to of deai style brow threading this place is perfect. Especially Kanchan is a threading master. My brows aren't easy to shape but she achieves perfection every time.
Also she is super nice.

The service was good but I confirmed by calling before going if any men come in the ladies section and the lady said no the men's section is separate. During my visit there were continuously men passing by and using the ladies section door.

Excellent work, and great price. I now only go to this place to get my eyebrows threaded. Highly recommended!

The facilities won’t be like a spa, but the services are always great, professionally done, and the ladies are very nice! I always get my waxing and eyebrows done here. Lastly, prices are the best I’ve found around south van area.

I went to this salon for the first time and was really happy with the services. The staff was very friendly, got my waxing and threading done super quick and they did a great job.

Lady threaded my eyebrows unevenly and because I have my eyebrows tattooed, I didn't see till I got home that she took off the tips of my right eyebrow.no wonder it felt so out of place when she was threading my brows. Also, poor trim job - see pics for comparison between left and right eyebrows (you will notice the right eyebrow tip is missing way more hair than the left). Not only that but she was twisting and turning my head like I wasn't a human. Really unprofessional and will never return ever again.

I went yeaterday to their salon, the lady who did my eyebrows was really good. But for my hair cut I am so disappointed. I want layer cut but my hair cut is so uneven, no layer cut at all. I want to keep my hairs length long but she cut down my hairs and made them too short. Never go for hair cut to their salon. They dont understand what's the meaning of long layer. So disappointing.

I go here for wax threading and burnt my skin. I got these scars under my eyes. For me, they need to learn about the wax threading girls are so unprofessional.

Well, I have been going here since 5 years now. I would write mixed reviews for different services. Facial services are good. Eyebrows are okay. The lady thinned my eyebrows so many times, even after showing her difference, she didnt apologize and charged full amount for it.and for hair cutting services will never go here. The lady was so busy talking with others, she cut one side of hair short. No professionalism at all. Casually holding hair and chopping them as if its her garden's weed. If you give service, you have to be professional.

If your looking for a cheap and affordable place while not having to compromise on service then this is your place!

Initially, I was a little hesitant to get my hair styled here because I have only heard/read good reviews on there threading and waxing services but I took a chance and they ended up doing an amazing job! The young lady styled it just how I wanted. I would def come back and recommend this place.

I have tried out many salons before discovering Bimlas salon. Some things that I like about this salon are: it is very clean, the girls are lovely, they do an amazing job every time, the prices are so cheap!

I have been going to bimlas for my threading and waxing since it first opened many many years ago. I highly recommend trying them out. You will not be disappointed!

Most unhygienic salon i have ever visited.
In Vancouver 1st time I visited salon for brazilian wax and eyebrow but had very bad experience with this salon
They are very unhygienic and didn’t use hand gloves for wax and also used reusable wax strips for brazilian bikini wax (Even in india they use gloves and use and throw wax strips for that) and cut my skin during eye brow
Very disappointed and never suggest anyone to go there waste of money

Extended the prices and got new staff, friendly, but doesnt do good threading.i got cuts on my eye lids.worst experience there ever.

No other place can compete with their prices, or with their skilled beauty care. Bilma's Estheticians, are the bomb dot com. I love Bilma's Beauty Spa Salon.

Called about getting henna done for a friends wedding and they wanted to charge almost 2-3 times more than other salons in the area.the woman in the phone was kind of rude when asking first time henna questions.not impressed. I'll spend my money else where

They charge me a different price everytime I go in and the quality of work is inconsistent. The owner has cut me with the thread, she has used wax when I specifically ask her to thread my face and then when she uses the wax that I told her not to use, she'll tear off parts of my skin, leaving marks and scars on my face for weeks: (. She starts rushing when other people walk in or will finish only half my face and then try to pass me to one of her untrained underlings.

I hate this place so much. The owner takes no pride in her work and looks inconvenienced from the second I walk in through the door. I used to put up with it but its gotten worse and worse overtime and today was the last straw. Im no longer willing to spend my money here when there are way better salons in the area. I would not advise anyone to go to this place as they really dont care about their work here.

I am also in the beauty industry so I know how important it is to take pride in your work and the owner does not. Most of her staff dont know what the hell they're doing either. I can't say much about the barbershop side but the spa/salon side is a joke.

Spare yourself the pain and spend your precious time and money where you will feel welcomed and feel happy after your visit, not in a place where the owner herself couldnt care less about the quality of her craft.

If you don't enjoy or care for your work, Bimla, then leave. If, however, you are in a desperate situation and for whatever reason you need to come here, look for Kanchin. Shes the only one in that place who knows what she is doing.

Will not go again to this salon, I usually go-to C style salon today I did mistake of trying this place as it is near to my home. The lady who did my eyebrows was very hard and I told her that I don't want to make my eyebrow thinner, I just needed clean up, no shape change. She totally messed up with my eyebrows shape.one eybrow is round and other is sharp.she also made them thin my mistake, I should have stick to c style only.
