Dr. Debbie Fonseca is the best dentist in the world. Her kind, professional and respectful demeanour makes her such a beloved dentist. Charmaine was my Dental Hygienist and she was meticulous and amazing. The front desk lady from the Philippines always makes me feel welcome. The new gentleman at the front too helped me with my booking professionally. When Dr. Fonseca isnt around, I have been attended to by her incredible colleagues Dr. Takhar and Dr. Gustafson and I felt very well taken care of. If you are commuting, there’s literally a bus stop in front of their building. I LOVE THIS DENTAL CLINIC!

After years of dental anxiety due to trauma (think full scale panic attacks), it is so refreshing and healing to come see the team at Birch Dental! The kindest, gentlest, and most empathetic dental experience I’ve ever had. Where other clinics have dismissed my trauma and shamed me for my dental care, I only felt supported by Dr. Reena and the team at Birch dental.

Staff is friendly, personable, and highly skilled. Incredibly gentle with those who might have high anxiety about going to the dentist. Great crew.

Dr Gustafson is very competent and makes the effort to follow up, even outside of regular work hours if you have issues arising unexpectedly!

Reena Takhar is tremendous. She communicates fully during procedures. She is gentle and fully engaged.

Dental hygienist (apologies for not remembering her name) was excellent. I hadn’t had her before. She did a wonderful job and was most pleasant.

A nice welcome from Joan on the Front desk to the spotless clean office. Dr Geoghegan gave my teeth, gums and mouth an extremely thorough examination and Jenna the Hygienist gave my teeth a five star cleaning. Can highly recommend this Dental practice.

One of the best dentists in town. They give you recommendations based on what's good for you and your teeth. I've had experiences with other dentists that just care about how much they can charge you. I highly recommend Birch Dental.

Jenna is the best hygienist ever. Does a great job cleaning my teeth and I don’t feel like I’ve been punched in the mouth afterwards. All the staff there are kind, professional and great at what they do. I used to be terrified about going to the dentist (had a horrible dentist when I was younger) but not any more. Thanks!

Though Dr. Lunn and my hygienist Anita have left the practice at Birch Dental i continue to use them as my family dentistry office. My new hygienist Jenna is a lovely calm and competent woman who does a great job. Their Covid 19 protocols are excellent and I was very confident in and happy with my last visit in August.

Careful, efficient, personable. My visit to Birch Dental was a breeze. I was extremely nervous about going to the dentist for many years. And when I went to Birch they completely understood, and in half & hour I felt at home and looked after.

I do take good care of my teeth, and usually only require to have my teeth cleaned. I was a client of Dr. Lunn prior to his retirement. Saw the same hygienist every time for my regular checkups.
This time the new hygienist behaved in a nervous way, kept telling me she had 25 years experience, talked too much, poked my gum, the inside of my cheek due to instrument handling, and kept wiping my face from the spray whilst rinsing my teeth.it was a comedy.
The Dr, part time or on call, was sympathetic. Front desk staff were also sympathetic. So the experience was one of “no return”. On top of that, paid $11.00 for parking.
Came home to clean my mouth with antiseptic. I am a retired Health Professional with emphasis on “infection control” and ”standards of Practice”

It was my first visit to dentist in Vancouver and I am happy that I found Birch Dental Group. By this time I was treated by two doctors and both are amazing! Receptionist is very friendly woman. So I highly recommend this dental clinic!

I wasn't too happy with the $400+ bill I got for a checkup + cleaning (You could tell they were trying to get me into every xray, extra billed item, etc) But other than that I was happy with the information I was given and the work done.

Edit, after getting my insurance back I had to pay $100. I'm not happy with that.

The receptionist, assistants, and dentist were nice. However, I came in specifically for a full cleaning and they told me, after the scaling, that we had run out of time. I had been there for an hour because of the radiographs and consult and was then told to book another appointment for polishing. Really just disappointed that we couldn't finish the job as requested. I have never experienced this at a dentist's office before.

Went in for a long overdue cleaning and xrays. Professional and quality care. Estimates were on point or better than expected. Follow-up and response time was excellent.

It's easy to see how they can confidently claim a full 5 stars on the front page of the website.

Dr. Lunn has extensive experience in dentistry and is very professional in his advice. Second visit was for hygiene/cleaning and Marcus was great: carefully, efficient, fast and caring. The clinic is well equipped with the most modern diagnostic equipment.

Coming from Kelowna I was told that there is some questionable dentists within the Vancouver area, overcharging and suggesting dental care that is not necessarily needed. My experience at Birch Dental was amazing. I had to re-schedule a few times and they were able to easily accommodate me. The Dentists at the dental group are so knowledgable, personable and make you feel very comfortable. They only suggested things that I absolutely needed for my overall care, they were very gentle with my cleaning. I would highly recommend this Dental office.

Simply the best dental care. If only the rest the medical system was so proactive and professional!

Dr. Danielle was amazing! I generally do not like going to the dentist and often feel judged due to my holistic point of view. Dr. Danielle has a great way of putting things into perspective and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. I highly recommend her:)
