BKH Jerky

Lifelong fan of Beef Jerky, but this jerky is nothing Iike I have ever experienced! The sauce and spice is amazing! I don't think I can ever go back to typical store bought jerky again lol

This beef jerky is delicious and is affordable. They have several tasty options available. The jerky is fresh and the service is quick. There is no other jerky in Vancouver that tastes like theirs!

They REALLY need competition, their jerky is good but the lack of competition puts no obstacle to them charging premium. Their monopoly on chinese beef jerky is really vulnerable to any competition at the moment - 2023

Overall disappointed with BKH Jerky, for the following reasons: the jerky is very wet/sticky. You will need to wash your hands after eating it. It needs refrigeration after opening the package. The jerky comes in 3 flavors: original, spicy and curry. I wasn't able to taste the difference between any of them. Each flavor is quite sweet.

The silver lining is this is the cheapest jerky I was able to find

Craving BHK jerky so much I have to order some from eastern Canada, love the resealable bag but there might not be any of those moist & flavourful pork jerky left to store in it

The best jerky you can find in Canada. The jerky is flavorful and juicy. You cannot keep the jerky for long due to the lack of all those preservatives found in other jerky. Every time I'm in town I order it's 6 pounds of addictive spicy pork jerky. It helps feed family and friends.

Not the friendliest and expect to be in line, but tastes amazing so worth it. Quite sweet so not diet friendly. Prices have gone up substantially it is understandable though disappointing that they changed the size along with their price of their end cut bags from a lb to half a lb, one or the other I would have found reasonable. It used to be a decent deal now not really worth it for the lack of proper packaging (ingredient label ect.) and unreliable availability, used to be a treat that it was in-stock and a small discount. With the price change I will be opting to making it at home over the trip.

I am in love with your spicy pork jerky. The texture is fantastic. It’s perfectly sweet and spicy, with an amazing subtle char flavor. I will be back often. Highly recommended.

I went to get this jerky because a co worker brought some to work last week. This jerky is so tasty lol i ate a 1lb bag on the drive back out to our office. I will make this drive to vancouver anytime i need jerky mmmmmmmmm num num

The beef and pork jerky are amazing! There's really nothing that can compete with this locally.

Tried the spicy pork and beef jerky. The pork jerky has a sweet and spicy flavour. The beef is more of the spicy. Pork is juicier than the beef. I would recommend trying the pork jerky. Overall, both are really good!

Bak Kwa is super tasty. They were very kind to let us sample the Beef/Pork Spicy/Regular combinations. We liked the beef and spicy pork. We got the 1/2 lbs ($16) which is about 3 squares the size of your hand. They vacuum seal it for you so you can take it easily on domestic flights.

Delicious, tasty and super tender even if it was well dried! Multiple choices of spices (spicy-hit, curry or standard BKH) beef or pork! Rare place with pork jerky I ever went.

We even tasted the ribs on-site: amazingly savoury and balanced spices.
The family of owner/operating is very professional and welcoming.

Tried the original beef and the burnt pork ends today and OMG! I can see why so many other reviewers say this is addicting jerky.

This is the beat jerky I’ve ever had. My friends and I did a jerky tasting on our recent camping trip and the BKH jerky blew us all away!

Every time I visit the staff are super friendly and very chatty. All the flavours of jerky are next level delicious and very fresh. The bags are vacuum sealed and have a resealable zipper!

Previously I could only get this in HK. Only disappointed that it took me so long to find this place. Jerky as it should be and better value than than what you would commercially buy from the supermarket.

Very nice calme quite place with a beautiful view and you can spend hours sitting there and drinking your coffee or whatever.

DELICIOUS, loved the jerky compared to the one i got in Richmond. They also sell the end pieces which taste AMAZING! I will definitely return whenever I am around the area. Parking can be challenging but it's a stop and go if you know what you like. Pricy but I say it's worth it compared to the store bought ones that taste chemically and overly salted.

You have NEVER tasted anything like this. I thought I knew where to buy the best beef jerky, but I was wrong and this is 100% UNDOUBTEDLY the best jerky I have ever had. I bought regular and curry. Honestly I cannot wait to go back, and I will despite it being almost an hour from home. I accidentally found this gem walking around and am glad I did. So freaking delicious.

Love their beef and pork jerky products as well as their pork floss. Now you can get the Haut chili oil with the crispy garlic flakes there. All products are so yummy and good.

Hands down the best jerky of my life, they first opened in Chinatown and I've followed them as they moved up to main then 2 different locations on Fraser. When I travel I usually bring bkh as souvenirs and it's since been a tradition, the flavor is superior to other Singaporean jerky. The jerky is amazing once you've had it, you'd understand why the dragons chose them. As much as I dislike the hypebeast line ups I truly love watching them grow because they deserve the hype

They are as closest to the Singapore style beef jerky! You need to reheat the jerky using the microwave oven before you eat it!

Best jerky in MetroVan hands down. Freshly packed when you order, vacuum sealed (jerky). All my out of town friends and relatives come to stock up. Pricy but well worth it.

Called to place a large last minute order (44 pieces) and they were able to fulfill my order with one days notice the owner even waited for me to pick up my order 20mins after closing.

Amazing jerky be it beef or pork. They also sell chili oils with crispy garlic in various levels of heat from medium, hot to fire. Worth the trip to Vancouver for both jerky and chili oils.

I’ve grown up eating BKH Jerky, it was always a special treat to enjoy with the family. Their spicy pork jerky is the best in my opinion, and offers the perfect sweet and spice! These are very addicting! You’ve been warned.

I've been a fan for over 3 years now.

My family and friends love BKH Jerky. My grandpa (who hates gifts and is incredibly difficult to shop for) is a huge fan. This year for Christmas, a staff member/? Owner went above and beyond. I got caught up in work and could not find the time to stop by the store. Unfortunately, I had also missed the Christmas shipping deadline. The staff member checked in with me and hand-delivered the order to my doorsteps. I am incredibly thankful.

The spicy pork jerky is perfect. I like to bring this with me camping or skiing as it's a nice snack to have with you. It is always juicy and delicious.

I have been going here for over a decade. I used to visit almost every two weeks with my family when I lived in Vancouver. Now, whenever I am in the area, I always stop by! Service is acceptable, store is always clean and the jerky.none like you have ever tasted before!

Started by two brothers, as I recall from their dad's recipe. They presented their families' secret recipe on Dragons Den & received financial support there. Thankfully the brothers wanted to remain in the neighbourhood and still maintain the original storefront on Fraser Street half block south of Kingsway. Neighbour's appreciate the location, check website for hours.

Literally the best jerky I’ve had and I’ve tried a ton. Super tender with a distinct “grilled” taste to it, all three flavours are fantastic depending on what you’re in the mood for. I can’t recommend BKH enough!

If you want better than usual and flavorful beef jerky, you go to this place. Amazing and tasty all the time!

I always stop by when I visit Vancouver. Their jerky keeps a consistent quality. However this time I got over charge, I did not check the bill when I pay. I got 15 bags mixture of 1/2 pound jerky and one bag of edge. The lady charged me $239 ($13x15 + $12.5 + tax). I believe there are $4.5 extra charged.

Best Jerky ive had in Vancouver! These guys were on Dragons Den too! Buy by the 1/4 pound, 1/2 pound or by the pound and not be disappointed. Watch them make it fresh on your visit as well.

Have been ordering from BKH over the phone for years from Toronto at their original location. Always through friends and family heading out west. Finally made it there personally in September 2019. Certainly one of my bucket list! Don’t laugh at me. Amazing jerky!

A little bit on the pricey side however by far this is the best beef jerky I’ve ever had! We ordered the curry one and it’s so delicious plus we ordered beef ends also delicious! Must try!

Short and simple menu. The service is relatively quick and it always exciting to see them grilling the jerky in person.

The jerky makes a great snack, I particularly enjoy the curry flavoured jerky. It's full of flavour with a hint of spice.

The pork floss is particularly tasty. I enjoy this style of floss compared to the more dry and pale ones you get at other places. The floss also has a nice sweetness and goes well with rice, congee, and sandwiches.

The best Singaporean style jerky in town. They take cards including Amex, participating Shop Small promo.

I ordered pork jerky online thinking this was dry jerky not only that the jerky contains anchovies which I don’t eat sorry will not order again I threw it away

Man, this is the best jerky I have ever had. If I open a bag, it's gone, with my pets begging me for some.

If only they'd have bags pre-portioned, ready to go, rather than doing it all on the fly. It would really speed things up!

My friend gave me to try and I got hooked! The taste and texture reminds me of Bee Cheng Hiang from back home! I definitely recommend this place to have a taste on the most delicious jerky in North America!

Absolutely delicious, I had a friendly travel from Toronto just to purchase $350 worth of jerky.
Highly recommended if you like jerky.
You can choose between pork or beef, spicy or non, also the different cuts/style such as thinner pieces.
Must go!

Friendly staffs, excellent place for beef n pork jerkies, a bit pricy, they raised their price twice in these two years, a must visit whenever I go to Vancouver, never bought enough for all my friends.

Some of the best jerky I have ever had. Well worth it, especially if you have never had it. Spicy pork is one of my favourites.

The jerky here is delicious! I eat every kind in the sweet/spicy as spicy is my favorite. I don't live near here so I have to go out of my way to get it. I wish there were more stores that would pick up and carry this product! They make it in store and package it there. It's legit.

Best Beef Jerky ever! While it looks like a hole in the wall and parking is atrocious, the product is amazing! Get the spicy beef and you can order online too! They need a new location with parking, would help the business grow!

Amazing Pork and Beef jerky. Well priced. Definitely recommend the spicy option! Better than BBQ spare ribs. No preservatives make sure to refrigerate it if you dont end up eating it all immediately lol

It's kinda expensive but it tastes much better than some of the cheaper ones. Love the beef and pork jerky and the dried prok fluff is good too.

Sticky, sweet and savory. Such a tasty treat! We usually get the curry beef and regular beef. If you're into jerky, this place is a must!

Spice: 10/10 super spicy so if you like spice then this is the place to be

Flavour: 8/10 seasoned nice but because it’s so spicy sometimes all I taste is spice

Texture: 4/10, too chewy. A bit stale.

Location is good during non-rush hour times. Fraser becoming a more popular neighbourhood.
Service is great.
Come in the afternoon if you want THE TIPS (rly good flavourful end pieces!).

If you like jerky I also recommend the place in Aberdeen (MJH)

My wife and i walked into this place for the first time. After looking at the menu asked for a sample the elderly person at the till reluctantly gave us a sample. Jerky was one of the best by far. I wish the service would match the product. The lady in front was very rude to the cleaning person who works there. Her demeanor reminded me of Chairman MAO. Needs to be more friendly to other human beings.

Every time I come to Vancouver, I come here and buy some beef jerky to bring home. But no more! The day I was here, the whole store smelled rotten meat! OMG! It stunk! Of course I wasn't going to know if I wasn't here. The jerky would have been covered with honey and BBQ'ed. No more! I will write this place off!
