Black Market Wine Co.

Randomly went to Black Market after another winery recommended it, and I don’t regret going. Their welcoming party – Bella – was kind and showed us to the tasting room where Karen did an amazing job telling us about each and every wine without pressure to purchase any. Every wine I tasted was divine (which has never happened before) …ended up joining the Secret Society (1st wine club for me). I wish I took photos, but I did end up with a case of wine! Definitely going to get a 3L wine bottle down the road!

Super cute, quaint venue at their home. AMAZING bacchus wine, nothing to declare bubbles were on point, Merlot was great with their established vines. Real back-yard family feeling, definitely worth a stop!

As a sommelier with 40 years of experience in BC wines I can unequivocally say that every Black Market wine that I’ve tasted has exceeded all expectations. My favourites are the Pinot Blanc, Syrah, Petite Verdot and their red Syndicate. Michelle, Rob, and Karen are outstanding and passionate wine professionals who will make your visit one to remember! I just wish that I could give them 6 stars…

"Tasting fees" bordering on extortion. Bought a couple of bottles just to avoid the exorbitant fee. Will probably gift them.
If your product has merit, you don't need to charge people to sample it.

This is a MUST VISIT winery! Every wine is worth buying, you will not be disappointed. Syrah-I’ve bought every year and I don’t even drink red. Yum

If you want an authentic experience with some of the best wines around check out this family owned and operated winery. If you're lucky and they still have some of their syrah, pet nat, omerta or others in stock, I suggest buying a case, they sell out quick and are excellent wines.

Not only is it by far the best wine in BC, Michelle, Rob and the kids are a fantastic family. I will bring everyone I know up the to vineyard in Kaleden and let them experience the friendly welcoming vibe and like previously mentioned.the best wine in BC. Great job Michelle and Rob!

Free tasting, and purchased some delicious and relatively cheap wines! The presentation we received from the girl who works there was classy!

Pinot Blank delicious my new favorite over Secret Society but not by much.
Rose Omertà yummy bone dry.
Pinot Noir outstanding medium body red.
Syrah top notch big red.

My wife and I have ordered wine from Black Market since 2016. We each have our favorite wine from their portfolio but this year we tried their unsanctioned porfolio, limmited edition. I would like to mention some of their outstanding unsanctioned wines that we tried; Barrel aged Pinot Blanc and Cab Sauv but the Cab Franc has become our fav along with their signature reds Syndicate and Syrah.

We absolutely love all of the wine from Black Market. We were excited to try their new Omertà rose so we were able to safely do a social distanced pick up. Can’t wait for the tasting room to open!

I ordered curbside pick up and it was very convenient and quick availability. I drove up, popped my trunk and they loaded my wine. Safe as can be. Very appreciative and not to mention delicious wine. I’m loving the Pinot Blanc, Rose Omertà, Pinot Noir and many more. Thanks Blackmarket, loving your wine.
