I went here for the first time today. Got my haircut by Beya, and she was lovely! She cut my hair just the way I wanted and even somehow blended my choppy bangs into the rest of my hair. She was also very friendly and sweet. Thanks Beya!

What can I say other than this is the best salon I've ever been to! The salon itself is beautiful, everyone is incredibly friendly, and I always leave with my hair looking gorgeous (thank you, Shelly)! I never have to worry if I'll like my hair or not because they always do such a wonderful job. If you're looking for professional stylists that are passionate and very talented at what they do, then you've come to the right spot. Thank you!

I just had highlights done with Natalie today and LOVED how she placed all the foils and how it turned out in the end. HIGHLY recommend

I was looking for hair colour and it was a completely different Colour what I have currently, I wanted to speak to a person to discuss and saw there is online consultation option but Nobody phoned me back and on following up I was told I have to come in person for consultation, on day of consultation I got a call that you have to book an actual 4 hour appointment. Erin was rude and didn’t even cared that I want a consultation wanted to talk about what I m looking for. If you can’t provide a consultation you should not have that option on your website, it feels like it is just your dirty tactics to get a customer. This just shows me how professionally they will do their job.

My gf went in to get her hair done as a balayage style, they gave her prominent highlights (not what she wanted) and damaged her hair to the tea! I would just avoid this place as stylists don’t seem to have the ability to understand what their clients wants are and don’t seem to have the skill set to meet clients expectations! 300$ + for damaged hair and merely just a hair colour on a bob style cut is crazy! Get better stylists, especially if you’re going to charge these prices! Thanks

So thankful when I moved here from Nova Scotia last year, to find Emma my first shot at black orchid when trying to find a hair dresser I trust (like most gals you have one and one only HAHA which is always scary BUT I got lucky:)

Had my hair done by Emma a few months ago. Not happy about my haircut it was extremely choppy on the ends and uneven. And I'm having more breakage since colouring my hair with her. Never had this kind of breakage before with any other stylist. Won't be coming back.

It's a very nice salon, but this is the first time I've ever spent 400 plus and then a tip on my hair when I go to the salon every 6 to 7 weeks I almost fell over, I doubt I'll be back even though I prebooked 2 apps

I got a haircut with Natalie that I am extremely unhappy with. My two must-haves were keep it as long as possible, and must be able to go into a ponytail. I was very vocal about this as i am a ponytail girl that doesn't like to style my hair often. Unfortunately, 5 inches were cut off and I now have bangs (that I didn't ask for) that do not reach a ponytail.

However, the owner Cristina was absolutely amazing about it. Even though there wasn't much that could be done since the hair was already gone, I felt very heard. She offered a lot of solutions to try and make me feel comfortable, and even though I was very upset, the customer service went above and beyond.

When my hair gets longer, I will come back and hope that I can change this review to match the care and support that I felt from Cristina as I truly believe this shop cares deeply about its clients.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Sierra did a great job with my naturally wavy hair; listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and delivered a quality haircut.

From the moment I called the salon, the appt visit and check out. I was very pleased. Everyone's kind and very knowledgeable about the products they use and my stylist Sierra was informative, calm and had good vibes. She executed the style of hair cut I wanted perfectly. I have had a great experience with my hair with my stylist Halle with exceptional service from hair colouring to getting extensions done which looks so natural. Her massage during hair washing also feels so relaxing. I would highly recommend Black Orchid Salon and Halle as well, for any salon service.

First time going here. I love the studio - everyone is really friendly. Natalie took the time to listen and asked questions. I am definitely going to continue having my hair done here!

This salon has a great vibe. Everyone was friendly and seemed happy to be there. I went to have my hair fixed because the last person who cut it, at a different salon, butchered me. Anastasia did a great job with what was left. I will most definitely go back!

Melissa has been doing my hair for about 5 years now. She is always doing classes to add to, and perfect her skills. She is a wonderful stylist and exceeds expectations every time. Highly recommend!

I went for a haircut with Josh and it exceeded my expectations. I wanted it layered and thinned out and it feels so much lighter now! He styled it phenomenally.

This place is amazing super reasonable price for cuts and the offer complentarty hair styling. And bangs trim too! I've been going for a couple of years and 100% is my favorite salon.
