Black Swan Pub & Liquor Store

For a small community this liquor store has a great selection and very good service.
Thursday night is Wing night is a great deal and a lot of fun. Music bingo! Awesome. Come early for a seat though.

Great local spot with friendly staff, great pub food and a comfortable atmosphere. Check them out for dinner, apps or drinks with friends. Wednesday burger night is killer.

Hadn’t been in a while (1 year) but decided to go for wing and music bingo night. Seen 2 of the servers who hugged us and remembered us food was great, awesome atmosphere, staff was great and beer and wings with music bingo can’t beat the fun

Quiet place to shoot pool for a couple of hours. The staff is friendly and the cold beer store is attached

This stop is a must for anyone traveling Vancouver Island. Incredible food, service, and atmosphere!

Gave them another chance after dismal delivery service couple years ago.gawd damn. Food was great had burger s and beer. Beer was ice cold and on special (white bark) the burger was juicey and the side of onion rings delicious. The server was very friendly and kept our friends full. Great job swan so glad I came back.

The kitchen closes a little early, but the atmosphere is nice, and the staff are friendly.

So impressed with the service and food! Just moved to the area and we will definitely come often! Husband had the beef dip which was fresh and a nice sized portion. I had the fish tacos which were amazing! I am GF and the server asked the cook if there was an option for me and the cook made me corn taco shells! Now that is amazing service! I hope they put them on the menu!

Avoid the teriyaki bowl. Its so bad. Very observant server saw that I wasn’t eating it & asked what was wrong. Other orders like fish & chips had too much batter for the size of fish.

I should have taken a pic of my food but I still think that’s a wee bit weird. The food is AMAZING

Wonderful country pub atmosphere, friendly and efficient serving staff, moderate prices and excellent food. Can’t beat the Black Swan.

Haven't been into the bar yet but everyone in the parking lot is super friendly and the liquor store workers are always out going and friendly very helpful

Update: 9 months later. Upgrading from 1 to 4 stars - a much better experience! The kitchen is a bit slow, but the atmosphere makes it a lovely place to sit and visit. The food was fantastic! I had the Swan burger with spinach salad, and it was one of the best meals I have had in ages. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. All in all, a lovely evening.

Our waitress Kate was incredibly unattentive. I can't rate the food, since we've been sitting here for 45 minutes and still don't have a drink. Edit: 1 hour 20 minutes, and we have drinks because we went to the manager. Still no food. 2nd edit. 1 hr 45 minutes, we got 2 out of 4 meals. Both were wrong. We left.

I ordered a gift for a friend for delivery from the store as I live out of town. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful on the phone and ensured my friend got her items just as ordered. Thank you

Great staff and service.even when busy and short staffed they give it their all to get to everyone in a timely manner. Serving sizes are country size so no need to double down on the entree if you have a larger appetite like myself. Mostly the regular pub fair but done well. Burgers are delicious! Prices are very fare in today's economy as well.

The food was truly excellent. We had a large group (14) and the service and quality were way above expectations.
