Blenz Coffee

The downtown Blenz is great, I don't get drinks out often but when I do it's mainly here. I love their hot chocolate it is decadent. Also Maurice is the best! Better than Mr. Mikes for sure!

I was treated very poorly as a customer. The dude servicing the counter spoke to the next person in line after me (I assume a regular customer) to talk about something inane while I was at the counter to order. Once I was able to ask about the BCAA promotion, which I’m a member of, I was treated rudely and like a pest. This was my first deviation from the Blenz uptown (which is great) to the downtown location which utterly failed.

Super friendly barista that made my day with a Black Forest Sundae Chillo. And as with all Blenz shops, very clean the decor is cozy.

Always an amazing experience. They know my order so as soon as I walk in they start making my drink for me. If I do an online order they know it’s me and hold it up for me as soon as I walk in. Love love love blenz!

Walked in and it felt warm and inviting. Sat in comfy chairs and enjoyed a great visit and a nice coffee.

LOVE Downtown Blenz. Maurice is superb with customer service and no matter who makes my white chocolate mocha, it is consistently wonderful. The broccoli-cheese soup is also very tasty. Also, big thanks for being so obliging when I call ahead just before closing because I'm craving an extra hot drink with whipping cream, and only realized it minutes before it was too late! You all rock!

My girlfriend and I stopped in here today for the first time. She got a croissants. She appreciated being asked if she wanted it warmed up or not. Some places do it by default. I got an iced coffee. I very very rarely drink coffee. It tasted pretty good. The interior of the place is a pretty cool design for how small it is. Especially for Vernon standards. They have a patio too which everyone took advantage of. Lots of older people here in the morning. People knew the barista by her first name.

Service was quick. Croissant was only one dollar.

Needs to be a little more consistent. I always get the same caramel capichillo. I'll get one and it will be the best drink I ever had then I go m the next few times its terrible then I avoid it for months then try and its amazing again then go back the next day and its terrible the next few time!

The best café I've ever been to – not just the greatest hot chocolates in town, but the friendliest and most accommodating staff, the most comfortable and available seating with outlets and wifi, and the most ideal ambience for focus after the library across the road. I'm a writer who likes to work in public places, and after some 1,500-2,000 hours here over two and a half years, it's probably better today than it's ever been. Sometimes I'll get lunch at another location or otherwise take a break – mostly to clear my head by the walk – but Blenz is and remains the hub of every day downtown. Yesterday I walked 20 minutes each way across East Hill through 30 cm snowbanks just to come here, and today I'll do the same, because frankly it's worth it.

If I had to add any critiques, it'd be that the opening hours are a little variable lately, and that they sometimes forget to apply a library discount; but the former is understandable as new management is still working out what's optimal, and the latter is just human nature as I forget just as often – plus they only recently re-added it, and frequent specials besides, so I can hardly complain!

My go-to for good coffee and lunch items when I'm working downtown. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating to any special requests. I like this Blenz' atmosphere better than the one on the north end of town; it feels very modern, almost like it belongs in a city bigger than Vernon.

Best environment for breakfast treats, lunch specials and coffees or teas! The new management and their staff are Top Dog at customer service. Love the ambience, frequent special items and attention to detail. Let it snow and I’ll be inside getting that warm glow! Congratulations team, keep up the great work

This is hands down my favorite spot in Vernon to grab a cup. I'm not usually wild about chain coffee, but Curtis and his team do it up right!

Fantastic hot, fresh coffee.:) I really love the salads, baking & granola bars! The Chicken Quinoa Salad had an amazingly delicious Asian sesame dressing that is fresh & mouthwatering. Love, love, love it! It's so cool that this coffee shop features a collection of money from around the world and beautiful paintings and unique replica props by the Rocketeer like the Star Wars helmets. Parking is not great since it's downtown.a couple of times I had to drive around and park a few blocks away but still worth the short walk. It's across from the library. Friendly service & clean bathroom. Also thankful for their comfortable chairs, plus they don't have a limit to how long you can stay. Owners are great and chatty too:)
