Blenz Coffee

I liked the taste and it was delicious, but I encountered racial discrimination. I was looking for a job on a working holiday, so I was handing out resumes near my house, but as soon as I mentioned resumes at Blenz Coffee, all the employees made fun of me. Even if they didn't need a Japanese part-time worker, I wouldn't have felt bad if they just said, "We're not currently recruiting. " It's so frustrating that even though it happened many years ago, I still remember it. People looking for work on a working holiday should be careful!

Iced Orange Americano made by a worker! When I first received it, I was confused because it was a mixture of Americano and orange, but it was delicious! Be sure to try it once.

Asked for my drinks blended like a frap. She handed me the two cups full of ice again i stated i asked for them blended like a frap she had the audacity to say it wo t taste good like that! Wanted my mo ey back but she didn't want to

I didn't eat the food, my London fog latte was the bomb and the cafe is clean but a little "cold" regarding the furniture? !

Took them 20 minutes to heat the wrap and sandwich with no customers before me. No tips from me here any time soon

Hands down the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Creamy and smooth with just the right amount of froth. Better than other Blenzes.

Great staff and great service switched from Starbucks to blend. This location is especially convenient for students to grab a quick drink and a breakfast

The employees here are great! They remember your name and do a great job at greeting you. They are also very efficient and do a great job at making drinks consistently well every time. This location has become my new favourite and frequent location. Incredible vibes and great drinks!

Happened upon a great coffee shop in Vancouver during travels, Blenz Coffee…came in the morning for a creamy comforting cappuccino and back that afternoon for a hand shaken iced tea.

How often does anyone from Starbucks greet you when you enter the door? Rarely! I noticed Ragel, Oscar, and Suzi greet EVERY person who entered Blenz, and with a smile! This kind of customer service needs to be recognized!

Thanks to Ragel, Suzi and Oscar for giving me a lovely coffee (and tea) experience in Vancouver!

Don't waste your time, Starbucks is right up the street and theyll actually have customer service

Live close, so I go there often. My fav is the white hot chocolate or ice mocha with oat milk. Super friendly staff, I recommend:)

I got a special drink named toffee nut mocha today. It's my first time trying it. It was the best one I ever tried. Thanks for all staff to serve it to me! Really enjoyed:)

This place has to have the worse owner/employee ever! The man is sooo rude. The least he can do is ask and talk politely. I really feel sorry for the employees who have to deal with him.

I absolutely love the coffee here so this should be a 5 star rating. Recently I went there with a friend in a wheelchair and he was there before me. He was sitting outside in the rain as there was no way for him to open the door and enter the establishment. It really bothered my that no one was able to help to open the door and that there is no accessable buttons for him to do it independently. I have always told my friends and family about this place especially when the opened up one in Edmonton. I just hope you guys have something in the future to reach this consumer base.

This Blenz is in a rough 'hood, but the store is always clean, warm and cozy. The staff are friendly, and they whip up a spectacular hot chocolate or mocha (with your choice of white, milk or dark ACTUAL melted chocolate!) Once you get inside the cafe, you absolutely forget what part of town you're in.

My wife went in to buy hot chocolate, 2 hot cups of chocolates weren't given to her without sleeves, then she's asked for sleeves and take out trays, and the Korean guy cut a 4 cup takeout tray in half, which renders the tray useless, because it lost its shear strength to hold 4 cups of drinks with one hand, just to say themselves half a tray made with recycled paper. What's a smart business they are running, this is the last time we are here after years of visiting this place.

Blenz might have the best, most consistent hot chocolate in town. Dark hot chocolate with oat milk is my go-to.

I like the fact that the guy who works here is so kind and cute. That reason what i gave to them five stars. Plus heartshape.perfect!

I have been coming here for over a year, almost daily. I have a coffee, and a Rocky road (dessert). Today I am here and the RR (Dessert) has changed. I will no longer be having RR (Dessert). The old way was more tasty for me. Thanks.

I have been there for almost a year, the dark roast coffee is excellent, just today I ask for a cold brew and to be honest is not the best, taste like old and reuse coffee

Cool shakes with moderate decor. If you are looking for fancy environment then this place will put you off. However, the blends are great.

Every second Friday i go to my phisio theres lots of coffee shops around the area but today i thought id try Blenz coffee and you know im glad a did the place was really clean and had a friendly atmosphere so i ordered my coffee and paid for it to my surprise the waitress followed me over to the cream and sugar table and made my coffee exactly the way I wanted then held the door open for me since it wasnt wheelchair access even though it wasn't id still go back.

The chairs are all falling apart and you sink through them when trying to sit. Nice location, but the store condition is terrible and not appealing.

Great location. Had a hot chocolate and it was one of the best I've had. Most places even if staying in do take out cups but these were nice large cups to drink out of while staying in.

The blue latte was a nice surprise on a cold evening. Beautiful with a rich taste, it's a must have!

Don't get me wrong, I like blenz. This place however needs a full overhaul.

First time I went we got two mochachillos and the whip cream was whipped sour cream. We called to inform to make sure no one else would get it. They weren't to receptive and no real compassion was shown for a rotten 2 drinks that cost $12.

The aecond time I was in the area in a rush to make an appointment. The line was long so I went to use the bathroom. You need a key at this location so I asked. I was denied until I ordered something. So I said I'll get a green tea. He wanted me to pay first. Lineup was huge and he wouldn't take my word for it. I had no time to argue and didn't want to cause a scene.

End of story. Bad management. Based on the location they'll probably servive a little longer but if I was part of the company id send secret shoppers there. Worst blenz ever and will never go back under that management.

Got the iced matcha latte. Has matcha taste but still overall taste like milk and deff needs sugar.

The owner is a horrible person, he was so rude and I was trying to use the bathroom and I wanted to buy a shortbread cookies and he refused because I wasn't spending enough money. Terrible service I would never go there again.

I ordered a Milk Hot Chocolate and paid for it, went to wait for my drink shortly after. Waited about 5-7 minutes for my drink and the guy making it gave me a dark hot chocolate instead of the milk one that I had ordered. I was confused and told him that I ordered a milk hot chocolate and instead of replacing the order that HE got wrong, he just said "it says here that it was a dark hot chocolate sorry" and turned away from me. Really rude service from this location which was surprising since I always have good things to say about Blenz. Really disappointed.

The male manager is beyond rude, cold, and heartless. He treated me horribly for no reason (his reasoning is I was in the washroom, which when I asked politely to use, for more than 2 1/2 minutes) accused me and treated me as if I had no money/was homeless/was using the washroom to use drugs even though I’m carrying grocery bags and had ALREADY PAID for the $7 drink including a tip which he did not under any circumstances deserve. That is besides the point in a way, because even if I were homeless he has no right to treat ANYONE the way he treated me regardless of their job or social standing. The other people who posted reviews saying that the staff is unfriendly and perhaps undertrained, almost certainly dealt with this man.

I’ve never ever written a review before, but this deserves to at least warn someone.
If you want to be treated with respect as a paying customer, no matter who you are or where your from, go to any other coffee shop within a 20 foot radius. You’re not missing anything by avoiding this manager, infact you’re doing yourself a favour. I am not by any means blaming the company as a whole as I’ve always had good friendly and diverse experiences elsewhere, but If I could rate this specific location/person zero stars I would.
