I booked a 60 minute classic pedi with massage for my BF and I after a long and stressful week and wanted to relax and pamper ourselves. The girl who did my boyfriend’s pedicure was rude, unprofessional, did a poor job, and RUSHED it because another client came in. I looked at my phone at the time and she started around 5: 50 and ended at 6: 15 (how is that a 60min pedicure?). When I asked her why his was so short, she said men’s pedicure are only 30 mins. But nowhere on the website indicates this nor was I told on the phone at the time of the booking. So my boyfriend had to sit and wait another 30 minutes for me until mine was finished. When it was time to pay, she starting ARGUING with me infront of other clients and staff saying I was lying about the timing. Completely unprofessional, rude, embarrassing, and degrading of customers. If you want better service, DO NOT GO HERE. The only highlight was the manager stepped in to offer 10% off, and rightfully so. That one rude girl needs an attitude check or be fired. Who argues with clients if they are unsatisfied over a service that you misadvertised? Ridiculous.

Unfortunately, it was the most awkward nail appointment I’ve ever had. Extremely unprofessional and rude.

**There are other salons that value their customers, it's not this one. ** I have been using bling for nail services for a few years however recently I had enough. There's never been a time where my appointment started on time, my manicure appointments are always late! Even when I think I'm running late, they beat me at tardiness. During my last visit I waited over 25 minutes and that was the last straw so I ended up walking out. This is not the first time I had considered ending my visits here, I've been tempted before as their receptionist is extremely rude. I get that perhaps she is young and lacks life and work experience however they should recognize that this person is the face of their salon and should exude friendiness and professionalism. Even their message to me to apologize sounded inauthentic. Initially I've asked for a breakdown of my service and the receptionist always says she'll email it but never does, I stopped asking at a certain point. This leads me to think they are not transparent about their prices. I continued to come here due to the attention to detail from Amy however my last few visits the quality seems to have degraded. My nails would always be perfect in the past but she seemed rushed in recent visits. Writing this, I realized how patient I have been through these few years. In reading through the reviews, it seems there are similar comments. Management needs to review the expectation of this salon, get rid of or train the receptionist and understand whether your customers are happy with their service.

Got a call around noon without a voicemail and I was not able to call back to so I called at 2pm. I live far away that is why I made an appointment at 4 pm specifically for that reason. I called and spoke to someone who was giving me unprofessional blunt tone saying out of the blue “do you wanna come early or cancel? ”. Mind you that this is the first time I booked with this place wanting to try something new. I also did not get any voicemail to this regard of change. I keep telling them I cannot come at 2: 30pm when my watch is 2: 14pm because I live far away. I booked through the booking system they had the night prior. I cancelled with them and will never book again. I have not even used their services yet and I was just in shock.

I’ve bought gift card from them on feb 12 hoping they would be open but the next day they close the business till March 8 without telling me anything.
Also the gift card looks low tech as there was lots of scratches and rewritten things.
In total I don’t suggest waist your money on them

It’s taken me way too long to write this review but I have been seeing Amy for almost 5 years because she’s truly just amazing at what she does! She can do it all! Any nail shape, bling, art, foil — you name it!
My go-to has been French Acrylic Ombré for the last two years and I continuously get compliments on it. Amy truly does do a superb and spectacular job!
So thankful to have found Amy many years ago! ️

I wish I could give this place a sixth star. The service is great. I get the best quality of service for my buck. They are really nice. I am a returning customer and I will go back.

I had a pedicure done at bling and it was horrible! She made one of my big toe nails way bigger than the other. She was horrible. Ill never go back there

Though it is a bit expensive, I have never received more compliments about my nails! Rose did an excellent job. The customer service is not exceptional but the result is great!

TERRIBLE. I scheduled my appointment, and had the receptionist phone me to confirm the night before, in which I specified exactly what i wanted done to my nails and she confirmed it was no problem. I arrived 15 mins early to my appointment, only to have Maya come in around 11: 05, scurry to her desk and then tell me she couldn't do my nails (before even seeing what i wanted) because she ASSUMED by my last name that i was Asian and that i would have "short nails" and not long ones. So she didn't allocate the time for me. Then said it was basically tough luck because the girl after me was leaving town and she couldn't move her appointment. Very unapologetic. I paid for parking, drove 30 mins to the appointment only to not even have the manager call me back. There are so many better nail techs that actually appreciate your business and value customer service. I will never recommend this place.

Vancouver got recieved snow overnight. I drove through it to make my appointment to find out they were not open. There was no sign, or call.

Best manicure I have ever had! Seriously! Was visiting over NYE from Seattle and Farzaneh took me right away for a shellac manicure. It's now been over two weeks and they are in perfect condition and my cuticles seem healthier than before. I haven't gotten my nails done in about 8 months for budgeting reasons, but felt it was extremely worth it for the service I received. She is a really awesome and personable person as well - I had the best experience and it made my NYE and entire trip so amazing! I will specifically come back here next time I visit Vancouver!

I visited Bling on a Wednesday morning and had no appointment. They were able to fit me in within 15 minutes. I was coming in with a very bad dip powder nail job from a different nail studio that Bling helped me remove and were very patient and gentle. They also chatted with me to understand my goals for my nail look and recommended the perfect colour. Overall I found my technician to be a perfectionist and really detail-oriented and I left probably the happiest I've ever been with a nail job! It was $65 for a gel manicure including removal of old dip powder.

Though the service was excellent I was extremely upset my nail became another color after being in the sun and next day it was just another color entirely. The color I picked was brownish toned. No one answer my email either regarding this issue. The top picture was taken right after it was done. The left bottom one after being in the sun and the right one is what it looks like today

Maya was such an amazing nail tech. My first time there, I was so impressed. She really listened and was attentive to my needs.

My nails look great. However, the customer service I received left a lot to be desired. The girl that did my nails (I neglected to get her name) chewed her gum with her mouth open the whole time, and barely talked to me and my daughters at all. I had my young daughter get her nails done too as we were going to a wedding, and it was not a welcoming experience for her either. I paid for a gel manicure for her, and she had to wash her own hands.

I would not return there because of the service we received.

Highly recommend seeing Maya, she did my acrylic set and it was hands down the best set I’ve gotten in Vancouver, and I’m very picky. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality

Terrible service and price.
I booked at 2: 30 and i visited at 2: 15 and told them i am here.
Until everyone else already started, i needed to sitting. It was already 2: 40 and felt so bad, so i told one girl just wanted to cancle, and finally she told me, i can start after other customer is finished.
I don’t even know if i book 2: 30 and need to wait until other customer’s done, why do i need a BOOK? And at least they ask me to wait and sorry, if they cannot make my reservation.

Their service was terrible, I’ll never go this shop again.

I love bling. Its been a year since I started to go there and they are amazing. Thanks to Maya, I quit biting my nails and have perfectly amazing nails. I love them. They are clean, friendly and time flies there. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

I wish there was a 0 rating available. Worst nail salon in Vancouver TOTAL CASH GRAB! I've been here twice for a fill. EXTREMELY filthy, poor quality work, overpriced, rude employees and technicians and old product. Both times I've been here, I've had to wait at least 40 mins past my appointment with not even receiving an apology. As mentioned in other reviews there's a sign on the front desk which offers 10% off service for a good review. This explains the recent 5 star reviews! They hardly have any polish color options and the first 2 colors i picked they didn't have. My nails last max a week before chipping, peeling and or breaking. This should not happen for the price they charge.

Maya did such an amazing job on my French fade acrylic set! Better than what I asked for and she's extremly polite and talented. I'll definitely come back to see her again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Receptionist is very rude, not greeted upon entering. Both times i've been there i've had to wait 40 mins to a hour PAST my appointment. They have the worst colour selection I've ever seen. You'd think with how outrageous there prices are they could afford more colours. I got a simple set with some gems and it took 2 hours and 45 mins. I stayed 45 mins pasted close and I could hear the staff that had to stay behind talking about me. As if it's my fault you have slow nail techs. All my nails lifted and broke with in a week and had very little gems left.

Also they offer 10% off if you leave a good review. Don't believe everything you read. There is many other cheaper and better options in the downtown area.

WORST SALON EVER.

The nail techs were great! My pedicure was fantastic and I’m really happy with the result. The reason for my score down was because I checked out their prices online and called to make the appointment ($30 express pedi) however, the service was not checked with me and I started to get suspicious after lotion and two excessive hot towels. Either this salon has amazing value or my package is wrong. When I went up to the counter at the end, the receptionist didn’t even say, “okay so the total for today is. “ she handed me the machine. It was about double what I expected to pay on their website. It’s their business and they can charge what they want- just wished it was advertised as such, especially the first time customer. I probably won’t go back as a regular.as almost $60 with tip for a pedi is too rich for me, but if you are looking for a pedi that’s totally extra, you’ve found it.overall, good nails, value isn’t the greatest.

I had a great gel manicure here, and everyone was super sweet. I'd actually never done any type of mani before, but it was nice and quicker than I expected. I would definitely come back again.

I've been a regular ever since I lucked out in getting Dana as my tech a few years ago. She's now like family. She is a perfectionist and always does a flawless and quick job. I sadly had to start getting acrylics because my nails are so weak and kept bending, so I now go to Lise for acrylics+gel for hands, and Dana for toes. Lise is equally as much a perfectionist as Dana. Would highly recommend both these ladies (and have heard Amy does a great job too, and have seen her great work on my friends).

Also, to address a negative comment I saw on here: every time I have gotten my nails done, they open a fresh pack of clean tools. Sanitation is definitely not an issue.

I am giving this place 4 stars for what it is. The staff are friendly, you get what you pay /ask for. The service is never prompt but I really don't mind waiting for the technicians I have had there. Recently there was a mix-up with their scheduling and my appointment was pushed earlier so, when I arrived, I had to wait for about 40 minutes. The receptionist was apologetic, attentive, addressed me by name and kept me informed. I waited for the nail tech. Clair because she is amazing. Sure enough, she did an impeccable job on my nail design and I left happily with a 15% discount for the trouble. I would be upset if I had other pressing plans but I didn't and they did a great job of recovery.

**update 8 nails have lifted and or broken in 10 days**

In 5 days after an acrylic fill with gel polish with Amy 4 nails lifted and peeled right off. When I called the receptionist she fit me in to have them repaired. The staff was extremely rude when I came back in (not the first time) I specifically asked clair that since 4 had already lifted off,   I would like the others repaired as well. The tech - Clair was extremely rude and said they would be fine. She was wrong I now have an additional two nails that have lifted and come off! In just over  week since having them filled 6 have come off! Absolutely ridiculous for the overpriced 70$ they charge for a fill. They look like a child filled and shaped them! Never have I seen any sanitation of any of the tools between clients and the salon is extremely dirty. I don't know how a salon that offers extremely poor quality products and services are still in business.

This is my favorite nail salon! They have great prices, good deals and AMAZING perfect work from all the girls working there. Highly recommend

Got my nail and pedi done by Dana and Clair for my Hawaii trip and I am in love. Lol Amazing job girls! Studio is super clean and cute. Highly recommend!

My appointment was last Saturday. To my surprise they had the most boring color choices. Felt like the coIors were the left overs which they wanted to force the customers to choose from. I have been there once before and upon asking, i was told that they are updating their color choices and soon they will have some popular/trending colors. I regretted going there and if i ever go back for their services it will be just because of Amy. I friends have stopped going there for the same reason.

I got an acrylic set done by Maya just over a month ago and they're still perfect; no chips, no scratches, shape is good. Obviously they're grown out a lot, but considering how long they are it's impressive that they've managed to stay on and not break for this period of time. My job requires me to be typing all day and I'm definitely not gentle with my nails, but I haven't had a problem doing my everyday tasks with them and they're still in perfect shape regardless. Maya is very detail-oriented and her work is clean. I have a hard time finding people to do the shape that I like and eventually I just gave up because nobody could do it properly. Maya executed it perfectly with no instruction and I could tell she was very experienced. The only suggestion I would have is for this location to make more colour samples; it seemed like there was only one giant set that was being passed around among all of the clients in the room and it was kind of hard to take turns with it. However, that is minor and everything else was great so I would definitely recommend! Picture shows my nails right after getting them done by Maya.

How does this salon feel that having rude receptionists is a positive experience for the guest? The minute I phoned to even book an appointment, the receptionist was awfully rude. I haven't even spent money in your establishment and I am already disinterested. Went in to see if an appointment was available, the salon is incredibly unhygienic. Ladies, lots of better options!

SO OVER PRICED! Maya tried to over charge me by $26 for a Chrome top coat in which never was done. $110 for a acrylic set with two fairy dust nails is disgustingly over priced. She was rude as soon as I showed her I wasn’t happy with the first shape. I don’t like this place at all and the energy is terrible. It feels like a super catty environment. Maya also cut my finger when she removed the acrylic powder from it. Never will I go back again. Absolutely terrible experience

This is by far the most overpriced, dirty and rude salon in Vancouver I've experienced. They offer 10% off to give a 5 star review so dont believe all these recent good reviews. I have had my nails done here a few times over the years purely out of convenience since i work 6 days a week downtown. The salon is filthy! Dust and dirt everywhere and not once have I seen them disinfect their dirty tools between clients. The staff are rude and constantly talk in Chinese to each other (we are in Canada!). Everytime I have had my nails filled here they last not even a week before the gel polish starts chipping, peeling off or the nail breaks. For 65 a fill I would expect my nails to last more than a week. I would definitely not recommend!
